A quiet and a silent place. Can spend from half an hour to 2 hours, depending on your interest. Some of the displays look genuine. And the recreation of the village/village life is amazing and one can get to know about village life. Must visit place and also adjacent to the Someshwar Temple, so these places combined will be a fruitful evening.

Very good place just adjacent to Someshwar Temple. The small museum houses various cultures created artificially. The village is realistic replica of various socio economic cultures and ancient village life. Educative and is recommended for small children. The place is managed well and the premises was clean with good atmosphere. I could visit in the evening and there was slight darkness inside and was a variety effect. I rarely give 5 ratings to any place. But this deserves because of intricate Art Work. Go if you want to see Village life exactly 100 years ago. Cant believe this place was built almost 20 years ago. Kudos to all artists who have captured even minute details. Rs 50 as entry fee is worth its cost. Just a suggestion, all information boards should be in English as well, so that people who cant read Marathi will relate to the theme displayed.

The museum is a great collection of our villageGaon culture. Visited this place twice and felt it really good. But there are couple of things that needs to be taken care off. First is they charge Rs 50 per adult and Rs 30 per child, which is okay if the place is maintained. It needs to be taken a good care off. Also if you visit in the evening the light is very low and some of the statue are not clearly visible. I request the authorities to really look into this. This will really improvise the standards of the place.

A very pleasant surprise. The tableaus of Maharashtrian village scenes are designed and built beautiful and with lot of details. The animals, especially cows, bulls and buffaloes are very realistic. I wish the park is maintained a little better. Some of the tableaus need to be repaired, and cleaned.Another issue I have is that all the info boards are in Marathi. As a Maharashtrian, i could read. But i saw many peoples from other states struggling with the info. If we wish to spread the knowledge to others, the boards need to be in English as well. We should be proud of our heritage, and should be able to popularize it.Overall a very nice experience for families.
