Its an excellent place to do your fitness workout.. it has big grounds for playing field sports.. dedicated walking and cycling tracks and much more.. well maintained and feels very refreshing to go to. A must visit for fitness fanatics 👍

A very well managed, compact size sport ground. Situated in military designated area and restricted to defense personnel and thier family, I found it a nice place to relax and exercise and have fun as well. It is located in Pune camp area.A horse sculpture in metal welcomes you at the main entrance. At the entrance they have a check-post for everyone with COVID-19 checking as well. And at the corner near the gate they have few checkered tables to play chess. Just amazing! Behind that they have a beautiful neon signed mural of I lOVE INDIAN ARMY! Along with a big lighted board with a photo our great Milkha sinhji as FLYING SIKH, this corner is very inspiring!This sport ground is comprised with volleyball and tennis courts, a full-size football ground (can also be used for cricket), cricket practice pitches and coaching for youngsters. Also it has a beautiful cycling track with good quality of cycles for ages available to ride on it. Two separate tracks for walking and jogging are also designed along that.Some indoor activities like gym, badminton courts are also available for desired users.At the center they have a small open air auditorium for screening movies and many other stage activities. For small kids, they have many small activities such as jumping jack etc.At the far end, they have a small garden called Hrebal Trail where you can have a look at few most important herbs and plants for us with a very small pond in the center. The best part was a small go-carting track, where you can pay and have a wonderful ride. It was a delightful surprise for me.A well guided parking for two and four-wheelers are available. Entrance and parking facility for wheel chaired personal is available here.

Exclusively for defence personnel and dependents. It has a well marked 800 mts walk route with pleasant music in background, a cycling track, basetball, tennis courts, a gym, gokart track and a roller skating rink. Movies are shown in the evenings on some days. A very relaxing place for the family.

Another outstanding creation by the local Army Authorities. It was earlier known as Sub area ground. It is another example of Army ingenuity. With a wonderful walking Jogging and cycling track laid as concentric circles, it is a magnet for the health conscious. Army families. Plenty of Army Officers, JCOs and Jawan’s and their families use this facility. It also has a reasonably Good Gym, two Tennis courts, which are extremely well equipped .There is a driving track for the young ones. And there is much more with grounds for sports like basket ball courts, Volley ball and even a foot ball stadiumThere is a yoga hut, which is not so well maintained. May be it is because the Sub Area Commanders are not so well knowledgeable about this wonderful heritage of India, generally taking more pride in their Western Orientation. But this is changing and one can look forward to a much improved yoga facility too in near future.Sub Area Ground is now renamed , as Milkha Singh Sports complex , in the honor of the most well known and Popular Indian Army Athlete .We hope and Pray that Army Authorities will make the place even more popular by Holding Coaching camps and competitions there. We really look forward to the day when an Indian winning a gold in Olympics will recall his childhood in Pune and relate to this beautiful facility as the place where he began his romance with Sports and games
