Pune’s old Vohuman Cafe I have heard lot about this place from localities but they have just over-praise it. Tea is tooo sweet and even you can not relax as sitting arrangement is next to each other. 3 rating I am only giving for bun Maska and personally I didn’t liked the tea ☕️

One of the oldest Irani restaurant in Pune, famous for bun maska tea. They are also famous for cheese omelette. I am sure no where else the quantity of cheese is used in omlette which they use. Now they moved to opposite side, but to be honest the oldest Irani restaurant was better. It was best.... But no matter new generation need new type. You should try tea and bun maska definitely.... Also need to mention there is no parking space so you need to find it out first parking space. One thing I got impression that they follow covid 19 rules and policies. I am glad to see that. They have double decker sitting, but I preferred to sit down and enjoy. Its on busy road so one can get irritate because of noise, but once you have sip of tea and one slice of bun maska you will forget everything. Tea 🍵 will cost you 15 Rs. And bun maska will cost you 35 Rs. But both are worth for money 💰💰💰. Ambience is okay. The old restaurant was better but as I mentioned before new generation need new things. The old restaurant was visited by different celebrities and different nationalities people. One of famous celebrity is Mr. Khan Salman. I have attached some photos for reference 😃.

Punes legendary bun maska chai and omlette place. And thats pretty much that Ive always ordered. The bun maska is amazing and serves as the highlight for me. Fresh and soft buns with generous amount of butter within the cut go perfectly with the irani chai.The cheese omlette, too, is amazing and definitely something you shouldnt miss out on. Its all day breakfast place but really fits in as any meal through the day.A lot memories connected to the old venue and the new venue. The very name makes me nostalgic. Please keep up the good work. I had heard about this cafe and wanted to know what makes this place so popular. I reached there on a Sunday morning around 8.30 and there was huge crowd waiting for their turn. After waiting for 15minutes I got a table and ordered 1. Special tea 2. Large coffee 3. Bun Maska 4. Egg bhurji 5. Cheese omlette.Talking about the food/drinks, Coffee was amazing. It rather tasted like proper filter coffee than what was being written over the menu(Nescafe). Special tea was strong and great too! Egg bhurji and cheese omlette was a tie, I personally liked bhurji cause I found a specific aroma(of some spice) which I personally liked, whereas my wife loved cheese omlette, which also had some spice added that was giving it the specific fragrance. Bun maska was a regular bun maska, nothing special. Sometimes I dont understand why people go crazy about bun maska while I found it pretty same at most places ;) no offense to those.Overall the food was great, worth waiting for. Every item is priced reasonable but I personally believe that It could be more affordable if they just cut down a few bucks from double cheese omlette and large coffee(which is subjective). I think the place is what expects price to be that way.Great place to go with friends and/or family!
