I feel like Ive been given a new lease on live. He is very caring and knows what he is doing. I always felt like I was his only patient when he was dealing with me. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

To find a doctor that treats you with actual care is not easy unfortunately. I felt very overwhelmed when I saw him because of pain and uncertainty of what is going on in my body. The care and genuine concern for me just really made me feel quite emotional. He assured me not too worry, “we will get you taken care of” is what he said. I would recommend him to anyone! Any back problems I have he will be the one I see.

Dr. Sciotti, along with his staff are all professional but also fun. Sometimes there may be a bit of a wait however, that is not important to me. Once you sign in you are taken back to a patient room, you see the doctor then. As I said, I have waited for the doctor however I was late at arrival so I expected to have a bit of a wait. Once the doctor was in my room things went well and smooth. Dr. Sciotti went over the information with me, explained what he was going to do and then the preregistration for my procedure went through and now I wait for the day it happens. All went well and felt like he genuinely cared.

From the moment I walk thru the sliding door ~ lovely wave and greeting from receptionist to the receiving staff at check in for Dr. Sciotti, to his nurse who vetifies your pain level, how you are, what changes, etc ~ verifies any x-rays, prescriptions, therapy or any other questions I have ~ was decided I needed an updated x-ray, that was set up and that was completed in a few minutes, prior to seeing Dr. Sciotti ~ he came in with 5 minutes, or with time it took me to complete a solitaire classic game on my phone ~ in comes the man himself ~ Dr. Sciotti is a down to earth, matter of fact, straight forward gentleman. He asks the questions, directly from what he sees on the x-rays, and what procedures you’ve previously had, or any changes you are currently experiencing. Let’s you asks questions, Dr. Sciotti explains what is going on and gives you his opinion of what should be done. This is explained in detail. His two lovely assistants, whom have been writing all the conversations, questions and recommendations, into the computer, now either set up for either what will happen next ~ from injection in the office, plan physical therapy, or at-home exercises, to procedures scheduled at the BWSC, these ladies take care of you and you get all the paperwork to ease your comfort from the sweet young lady at the check-out desk (who usually, is the same person who had checked me in).Finally, I depart the OA Building, to be given yet another goodbye, wave, smile and “see you next time ~ take care and be self!”I am new to Fort Gratiot and to Michigan, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have been referred to OA, and specifically, Dr. Mathew Sciotti and all his staff and, all the OA staff!This has been a really long writing, I know ~ yet, with all the horrible events that we are all experiencing or at least read about ~ I, as a very young 72 California Girl, wanted to express a positive opinion and grateful feeling to and for a talented, caring, knowledgeable group of workers at Orthopedic Associates!!!I thank you again for all your previous care and for all the future anticipated care that I will be having🙏One last thank you I would like to give is to the wonderful staff at the BWSC ~ their care to me has been warm, caring and gentle ~ but there are two especially caring and concerned hands-on workers, that I will always be grateful for their getting me they the procedures of both Dr. Sciotti and Dr. Kowaski ~ they are Dr. Smith and Nurse Patty❣️Now I promise this is it ~ yet, just in case you couldn’t tell 🤔 I highly recommend both ORTHOPEDIC ASSOCIATES and BLUE WATER SURGERY CENTER‼️

I was in pain and the staff was ver compassionate, attentive and kind. DR Sciotti tried to lighten my mood and was very thorough with his exam and tests he felt needed to be done. The injections he performed have put me on the road to becoming completely rid of the back pain I have been experiencing for many years.

Excellent doctor! Very thorough and doesnt rush, he listens to what you have to say. Been seeing him since 2011. I definitely would recommend him!

What an arrogant person. He is really nice and concerned about your condition until he gets you into his operating room to stick you with his steroid needles . Then you will see his true colors, and when they dont work expect to be treated like you are lying and pill seeking. Wow just wow. I sat in the parking lot and cried for 15 minutes after leaving his office today, I have never been made to feel like that by a doctor ever in my life .

Dr. Sciotti is thorough and wont BS you about what you might be dealing with. He can be blunt, but when it comes health matters, I prefer my news straight up. Good guy.

Very easy to schedule appointment, very friendly staff and doctor. Very knowledgeable. I felt at ease with testing and treatment here.

I saw Dr. Sciotti after an automobile accident in 2001. I was rear ended at a stoplight and rammed into a truck. The force of the accident was so great that my seat backs snapped back into the prone position. I thankfully had no serious injuries but my neck was causing me multiple issues in the weeks after the accident. Dr. Sciotti during his exam of me made it clear that he felt it was all in my head, no pun intended. I have heard the same from other accident victims who were seen by Dr. Sciotti. He was almost cruel in his examination, and after he twisted my head sharply resulting in tears spurting from my eyes he stated Oh, I guess you are in pain. I do not recommend this doctor and if I could give him zero stars I would.

Great doctor, liked his frankness . Overall a very positive experience.

Doctor is very friendly and has been seeing my 14 year old daughter for scoliosis. We are very pleased with her treatment.

Not a real great people person. I dont recommend him at all.

There can be a long wait in the waiting room though.
