We’ve been coming here since it opened. Then Covid reared it’s head. We returned a few weeks back and were so happy because the coffee here is the best in town, by far! We both had our favorites! Then, last weekend we go in, like usual and I ordered my usual, as I’ve been doing for weeks and the young girl stated “We’re not serving that! Breakfast only right now! Even if we were serving that now we couldn’t since we don’t have the flatbread base!” So rudely! Right now there’s MANY options for patrons to eat at, so customer service is pivotal. This girl was rude the previous time as well. I manage a retail store so I just chalked it up to having a rough day, we all have them, but then for it to be repeated was abysmal. This restaurant really is a gem in Port Huron but customer service, like this, will sink it. I spoke with some co workers on Monday about this and one of them had the same type of service when he went with his girlfriend. I’m hoping this is an isolated situation that’s resolved with better training.

Strong lattes that are espresso forward & not overly sweet. Bagels are nice & chewy with good specialty cream cheeses. Definitely will go back. FYI entrance is around the right side of the building, where the parking lot is, towards the river.

Amazing staff…. Sara is amazing makes good coffee and the white hot chocolate is amazing.. the food is good af hands down one of the best little spots.

Honestly this place has gone down hill. Not sure why all the reviews are 5 stars… I mean I ordered a breakfast bagel and I waited two hours for it. I gave them another shot and they failed again waiting another 45 min for a simple breakfast bagel again??? We are regulars but this place doesn’t treat us like that we are dogs.

Great little cafe with a unique menu full of healthy and flavorful options. Good prices, coffee drinks, tea. Modern design is comfortable and the view of the river is great. Will be wonderful on the deck in warm weather. Perfect for breakfast and lunch with a friend.

The Kitchen is one of those hidden gems! Great food and excellent coffee/tea. Very clean and trendy atmosphere, right on the water. They are a bit on the pricey side, but they give you a filling amount of food and the bagels are heavy and homemade with unique flavors. Their bagel sandwiches are definitely Instagram-worthy!

Wonderful café with lots of delicious food options and a beautiful view! Amazing place to spend a little slice of labor day! 10/10 recommend their iced coffee drinks.

The Kitchen has amazing good and coffee, fantastic service! We have had several wonderful breakfast and lunch experiences there.

Fantastic food and a server who was friendly, proactive, detail oriented and attentive.The scone and bagels I purchased to bring home were fresh and flavorful with lots of unique options to choose from. I will be back!

Good food but high prices small quantities. Service was good.

Bit of high prices... over $8-$10 for bagel sandwiches. They do have a gluten free bagel option but it is terrible... I think its homemade. Bad texture... they serve Madcap coffee which is delicious. Very difficult location to find. It is inside a building, by the water, through a store, and not labeled at all.

Awesome little cafe in the heart of downtown. Everything we have had has been delicious!
