Busy little transport cafe. Parking for trucks,Cars, bikes etc. Reasonable price on food and drink and waiting time wasnt bad. Nice selection of cakes which is always nice. Order at the counter and food is brought to you ( inside or outside ) nice clean toilets. Has been a place for bikers for many years and they do the odd biker night. Can get very busy on weekend with bikers so the cues maybe longer for food / toilets. Overall a decent place to stop for a pit stop if your in the area.

Great cafe for food, recently renovated throughout. New chairs and tables. Renovated toilets and showers. Over night parking available. Highly recommended. Food very tasty too! The food in this picture is a small breakfast. They do a large and a belly buster for anyone up for the challenge lol.

A massive improvement on previous owner/management. Food always seems to be spot on, the staff are lovely and always engage in conversation. Only downside is they close at 3pm, apart from a Thursday for biker night. I stopped here at 14:50 and was told everything was off so went next door instead. Although the raven is little dearer than the midway, I personally prefer the Raven as the quality and customer service in general is better. A teatime opening through the week would be advantageous especially as they offer HGV parking, not the end of the world but if you choose to park here and get here after 3pm like most drivers will, you’re forced to use the surrounding establishments if you want food, drink or facilities. Overall I’ll continue to use and recommend but there is room for improvements.

Fab food, relaxed atmosphere but didnt like the coffee lol..but I didnt get one from the cafetiere having said that... Well worth a visit, especially you bikers

Visited with friends at around 7pm on a very busy Thursday evening.Understandable queue, very limited menu but disappointed with the following which cost £7.20 for Chicken curry and homemade chips and a can of drink - the quality and quantity of food for cost didnt feel great with very little curry.

Favourite stopping place of mine. £10 for overnight parking. Gravel surface on parking. Great staff, great food - they cater for gluten free. Showers and toilets recently refurbished. Check opening times though. During lockdown the times have varied considerably.

Came in Sunday afternoon for an all day breakfast, it was good. Wasnt keen on the sausages though, but eggs were nice and orange, and accommodated food swaps. No swaps on the tea/coffee though. Lynn offered juice. A glass of squash would be suffice?? Lady on the counter could smile a bit, she did not seem happy in her job at all, but the young girl waiting on tables was an absolute delight.

Its was nice cafe and the food and the staff very nice, also clean thank you.

Went here yesterday for a ride out.Service was great, very organised and the staff were great. Breakfast is great value for money and will definitely be returning!

Really nice breakfast, I didnt eat anything else for the rest of the day! For those who care I swapped fried bread for my wifes black pudding and mushrooms, not included in photo bread & butter 😁 ( I dont do beans)

Went for the first time yesterday with some other members of my bike club. Fantastic atmosphere, and is in such a great location which is easy to get to. 100s of bikers turned up yesterday for the Easter Sunday ride out, and it was fantastic. Going to make it more or a regular spot - especially this summer. Staff are also very friendly, and you can either order food inside or they can bring it out to you.

A great little pit stop. A small charge for lorries to park but free for bikers. All relative amenities for long distance lorry drivers. Great food served by a great bunch of ladies. Very friendly 👌👌

Great staff do anything for you and they know how to cook an omelette properly. Toilets were very clean as were tables and chairs. Very, very good all round.

Went to the raven yesterday as we visit 4 times a year when going to Wales. Brought tea and a sandwich asked to use the toilet and was refused saying they were out of order. Well as an environmental health officer the cafe should have a hand washing facility to ensure proper hygiene we probably didnt spend enough. We will not be using them again ps fix the car park its just a disgusting mess just like the way we were spoken to.

Lots of bikes bit of a task getting out but thats all fun. More available seating and maybe a long table for helmet storage would be a good idea for the bike night

Just been there with my mum and dad, the staff seem very kind, smiling, despite going there as they want to close.The food was decent, sausages were good. One thing Id say is the long plate is slightly annoying.Good job on getting chairs outside with the cover on it :) the tent things.-Seb

Stopped for breakfast on Monday 19th July. Waited at least 10 mins before order taken and only 2 people in front of us - very slow lady serving 2 coffees. Breakfast not very good, awful cheap sausage so didnt eat, fried bread very overcooked so couldnt cut with a knife so didnt eat, egg very hard so didnt eat - bacon and toast ok. Wont be stopping here again.

Although I cant fault the place ... for truck drivers parking on a Thursday night its far too noisy with the constant revving of engines from the bikers meeting up..... whilst truck drivers are trying to have their daily rest period

Thursday night bike night. Fantastic really good atmosphere, loads of really nice bikes, some old some new, good food served too. Cafe open till 9.30pm. Definitely would recommend a visit if you like bikes.

Called tonight, firstly the staff and Bev, greeted me with a most friendly welcome, could not have been any better, I ordered the braised steak, it was cooked just as I like it, and well presented, the price was ok and generous portions. I always enjoy calling at the Raven Cafe, well worth a visit.

Popped in for a small breakfast, love the fact I could sit under cover with a proper plate, knife and fork. Funny the things you miss when you cant have them.
