The service is very good here... Rooms are spacious and the staff is very cooperative... The bar is closed and they havent been maintaining the pool. Few things in rooms need repairing...

WiFi doesnt get connected in the room. Its only available in the reception. Pool is close. Resturant is close due to renovation. Hotel rooms doesnt have a safe. Drinkable Water is limited to only 2 litre per day then you have to pay for extra price. Rooms are quite spacious.

Amazing StayI had come to this property for my holiday .... So i did my bookings after through the reviews .... The place is really very nice ... The rooms are spacious ....Bathroom was clean and I was so happy to see glass water bottles in the room other than the plastic. The food is also great ... i was happy that i got exactly what i wanted ... The service is very prompt and so is the staffs. Always smiling and willing to assist you all the time. Overall I would say that it was my memorable holiday ever.

Its an 4 star hotel which is above average. Facilities are good, food in the restaurant is good but when we enter inside we feel some smell. Breakfast is complimentary and is good.

My experience is really bad in this hotel they have one or other problem in each room it seems i stayed 1st nt in 408 AC pblm was dere wen ask them they shifted me 207 again geyser was not working here and AC flow was not in control again they want to shift me another room now

Very good hotel in Port Blair its an big hotel with nice rooms,huge swimming pool,garden restaurant with Bar, have banquet have ample space for parking.

Average property in decent location This is bit old property and well maintained. I stayed one night in this  hotel and near to city .Not very big property, but decent size with small swimming pool .My checkin was bit delayed as they didnt recieve my booking details updated due to network issue Pros : Rooms were big size .Provide packed Breakfast as my flight was early in the morning Food is decent and they were able to customize our order .Though order will take quite sometime to deliver in table or room .Staff at reception was helpful Cons  :Staff were limited .You need to call atleast 2 times to get the attention Day i checked in ,it has common water problem and they fixed it after 2 hours Room has central AC and  definitely need servicing. It produced lot of sound .Whole night there was some noise or sound in the room ..I am not sure where its from room above or wind or room nearby. We called reception around 1:30 AM and informed ..but no solution. I wont prefer to stay again in this hotel .

They upgraded our room for no extra charges. The stay was good and peaceful. The staff is very polite and helpful. I lost my bag during check in they showed me the CCTV footage to locate the bag. The food at buffet was awesome.

The hotel in very Newark the Abardeen bazaar, in fact walking distance. There are even ATM nearby. The hotel is placed inside from main road and helps the guest to be quite and cozy. The hotel has grandeur kinda reception with good welcome staff including drink. The staff if positive, helpful and pays attention to your requirements. The rooms reserved good with individual AC, but fans are not there in ground and first floor. The bathroom is neat and tidy and is cleaned properly. The hotel has two restaurants and has decent buffet spread. The food quality is superb and amazing and kept me wanting more always. There is a decent pool and open Bar which are also great for spending time and relaxing. The laundry service is also encouraging. Overall a handsome stay and would like to stay again there.

The location is good and the hotel is located not far from the city center. The rooms are pretty spacious with all amenities. Wasnt able to have the buffet breakfast on either of the days I was there but they were kind enough to provide a packed breakfast on both occasions.

One of the best hotel with all facilities and polite and prompt service at Port Blair.I stayed in this hotel for 5 days with family. It was very pleasant experience and would love to visit this hotel again.Its a 3 story lodging and 2 restaurants. A clean swimming pool with a bar beside it. Entrance lobby is spacious and the service is very prompt and polite. The owner and manager stay in the premises and look into every single thing which makes this hotel unfussy at every level.Rooms are big with all necessary amenities which include enough furniture, TV, clean bathroom and linen, 24 hours hot water, a coffee maker, a fridge and other essentials.There are 2 restaurants which serve tasty food as buffet. Surprisingly you get a call when restaurant opens and another call 30 minutes before its closing time. Bar is open till 11pm.Hotel provides you help for site seeing and arranging your travel by booking vehicle of your choice.The people visiting this hotel are mostly families and environment inside hotel is pleasant and positive.This is the place which you will remember forever and would like to visit again.

Tea maker was dirty used by previous guest. Whitner for tea was expired. Aunts in bathroom. Rooms were smelling.

One of the best hotels in Port Blair. The rooms are good. The food was good. The staff are friendly. The hotel is reachable within 30 minutes from the airport.

Compared to other accommodations available in Port Blair this is one of the high end hotels. However, this is just basis their Tariff since the property does not have much to offer. WiFi is only available in the reception lobby, most items on the restaurant menu were unavailable, basic bare minimum breakfast spread, no information provided for guest tourists. Staff were courteous but lacking hospitality experience. One thing I liked is that the room and bathroom were clean. They should change their toiletries vendor. They have a safe in the room, a pool at the back and an open bar counter to enjoy a good evening drink. Overall not value for money but one of the best options there.

I have stayed in this hotel with my wife. First of all, when we arrived, the person at the front desk was very welcoming and pleasant at check in. Hotel is really nice. It is a short distance from airport, Good people, very nice rooms. the breakfast was a good surprise, breakfast is very good. Veg & Non Veg Food, both tasted excellent. Stayed here for 2 days and it was fun.Front office staff was also very help-full, I visited two time and services all where excellent, Wi-fi facility is OK.

The hotel is located in the city and is somewhat off road. The rooms are small but okay. The major concern is the wifi which was available only in the reception area and no connectivity is there in the rooms. Even the lobby wifi had pathetic wifi speeds (you can barely use whats app on it). The open ares has a pool and a bar where you cannot sit without mosquito creme. The food is expensive as the hotel knows that there is no good restaurant nearby. The airport is a 10 min drive from the hotel and a taxi will cost 250 rs (but the hotel wala will ask for 400). We stayed for 2 nights and our overall experience was average. The place is overpriced.

Its a fairly decent hotel on the island of portblair. In fact considering the limitations of resources on d island it is a good hotel. What is most remarkable is the staff who is very hospitable. It has a poolside bar which is a great attraction especially in the evenings. They also put a video projection at the poolside adding glitter and fun to the happening evening. One demerit I found is , like almost all hotels of the island it also doesnt provide wifi in the rooms. You have to come down to the lobby to use it, also the speed is also very lethargic

Had a pleasant stay here, the atmosphere is perfect. Hotel services are good, polite, courteous and friendly staff. Around 10 minutes drive from the airport and if you take a 5 minute walk you are closer to Aberdeen Bazaar. Loved the food here, breakfast buffet has good choices, same with goes the dinner. Zest Fine dining has a variety of items to order and it is definitely worth it. The rooms are maintained well, and are quite spacious. You get satellite TV connection, kettle with coffee, tea and creamer. The bath and rest area are well kept, connected to a geyser. As Andaman network connectivity while roaming is poor, youll get free Wi-Fi facility in the hotel - I could get the signal only in the lobby though, and as like every other network in Andaman it is based on a dialup probably. There is a small gift shop selling Andaman souveniers and diving kits. The pool is a small one, enough to soak and relax just next to the bar.

Was supposed to be a 4-star, but didnt look like one. However the stay and food was comfortable and good. Food was expensive.No wifi in the rooms-only at the reception. But in general internet is bad in whole of the island as such.

Very good hotel

Wonderful hotel with good amenities. They serve delicious food in two restraunts. Bar and swimming pool are also available. It is surrounded by lush green vegitation and located in Pheonix Bay.

Hotel was okay. Rooms had too strong smell of room freshner. I had stayed in sea shells for 2 nights before staying in this hotel so i was expecting same as this hotel also has almost same ratings on TripAdvisor. But not that quality. Food was okay. Overall experience was okay.

One the worst group of hotels. I stayed here and i must say it was just a bluff deal for me.. They treated like that i am staying free there. I spent 9k for one night and they not even provide proper breakfast. When i was asked for tea in complimentary breakfast they replied its chargeable.. I stayed sea princess Beach resort as well that also provide pathetic service.. So i would suggest to everyone who planing to go with this property.. Please dont waste your money and your valuable tour..

It is at 5 mins walking distance from the main market. The market is big and has lots of options for shopping.Dissapointed with the restaurant on the first floor, where breakfast is served. It had dust on the tables. The curtains and table covers were also not clean. It feels more like a 2 star or a 3 star hotel when it comes to this dining area. Oveall an average kind of hotel.

I am frequent traveler with family and I have never found a property like Hotel Sentinel at this price. Very spacious, room with all facilities and located within a peaceful stretch of the city. Plenty of fresh air and open space. One can rarely find such a vast place elsewhere. Nice rooms, restaurant, food and very food people engaged. Hope to visit again.

There is an issue with Wi-Fi its just 2g(as they mentioned but its even worse when used) and it can be accessed only in the lobby. It would be beneficial if every room could access. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, when asked for an advance breakfast meal it was just a small sandwich, small frooti, banana and chips per person, i think thats way too minimal. And coming to the room, the rest room wasnt that satisfying, it was fine but there were some stains and stuff. And the bar there, it doesnt have proper seating arrangements done... At the evening there are hell lot of mosquitoes may be a indoor bar would be better instead

This hotel is very old. Breakfast buffet is very limited. Swimming pool is closed most of the time. Only good is the fishes they have in small ponds. Its near the market area.

The hotel is very good, with very friendly staff. A good restaurant. The pool was not functional during our stay, But overall a very good option to stay in portblair. Wifi facility is only available at lobby which should be extended to the rooms and restaurant also.

Checked in on 5th December, 2015 in Luxury room and found water outlet in my bathroom to be choked. Service was pathetic, had to call the reception/ hous keeping a number of times to get orders delivered to the room. The reception had same response to every request - Our house keeping staff is busy and wont be able to get this done for another 30 minutes.Compared to this hotel, found other budget hotels very good and the staff was very courteous. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel is near to Port Blair airport.This is one of those less hotels with Swimming pool in port Blair.Pool side bar also available.Buffet breakfast and dinner are tasty with good varieties.Room service is good.No WiFi.

I visited this hotel on 21st April,2018 with my wife and my 11 months daughter.The room they gave me was very bad, there was such a bad smell and also there were mosquitoes, ants everywhere.After talking to reception they gave me another room, there were no fans in the room and the air conditioning took 1.5 hours to make some cooling in the room, but we were still sweating a little, after that i saw ants in the room near the tea cups and also there was lizards just outside my room, then i complained about it so they said we will give you another room, I complained to manager then the lady at the reception lied to manager that we send somenone to check for ants in the room but there were no ants, but none of their staff come to see the room.The whole hotel was full of mosquitoes and ants there was zero hygiene and even at the reception area i told manager to see mosquitoes and he said yes there are some.When i told them to refund my money they said it can not be done, we can not refund any money.I will request all of you to no go by the ratings of the hotel its the worst hotel of my life.At the end we left the hotel for another hotel but due to all this my 4-5 hours were wasted which were ment for roaming in the city.

Excellent rooms... All places are nearby... Airport, port, market. Delicious food with bit expensive. Well maintained bathrooms. The cab they arrange is too costly .Excellent for peace loving people.

Very good for officials and couples..pool area is good and u can do small party in the evenings..public transport from hotel is not available so one has to walk 5-10mins to the main road..but coming back to hotel is not an issue as you will get transport easily which can drop you...

The Sentinel hotel was an average stay for me, it had excellent services and a decent restaurant, however the pool is very small and a bit dirty, further , there is no wifi in the hotel. The rooms are comfortable however a bit outdated.

This hotel is overpriced, given that they don’t have a lot of competition.They have a very slow WiFi ONLY AT THE LOBBY. There’s no WiFi anywhere else.The only plus side is- the staff are polite, there’s a bike rental nearby and that’s just about it.

The hotel sentinel does not seem to be professionally managed and run hotel. My experience was nothing short of disappointing. while is looks a fancy hotel in the pictures, do not get carried away by that. there is a pool that is not operational, a restaurant that is closed and this is far inside and not on the main road as mentioned on the site.They charged us Rs ****** per person for the new year Gala dinner which had a sub standard meal with mosquitoes floating all around, no drinks included and no DJ. the owner was playing random numbers on his laptop- it was completely hilarious and frustrating, both at the same time. All the guests were so disappointed that they had whatever little they had to ear and were in their rooms by 9.30 p.m on a new years eve!! my worst new years eve ever.
