Cancellation of a flight made us extend our trip by a night and led us to this property. The moment we stepped down from the cab, the staff came rushing to us to help with our luggage. The owner and host Mr. Sameer came across as very courteous, helpful and made sure we feel comfortable. A special mention to the staff who was always ready for help with a smile. The food was delicious and the rooms were tastefully decorated. Would certainly stay here whenever I get a chance to be in Port Blair again. Highly recommended. All the best to team Harriet View.

Stay was quite good. The hosts and hospitality are just great. They will guide you completely about the trip and help you with transport as well.Rooms are clean and spacious. Only thing is that the food service was slightly slower, which is manageable if you place the order 45 minutes earlier.

Amazing hospitality, team, rooms and amazing family of Sameer sir. My daughter got very sick during our stay in havelock and Sameer sir helped us book doctors appointment in port blair. Picked us from jetty to hospital himself. Provided all the support required including our extra/unplanned stay and their team and family made us really comfortable. This hotel may not be counted in mainstream by many but the rooms, service, hospitality are at par or even better than the 4/5 star properties there. This review is not just based on the support provided by them in our unfortunate situation but the interior, rooms are tastefully done. The cherry on the top is there helping nature and going above and beyond to help customers.

When we reached Harriet View,we were welcomed with welcome drink. It is a BnB and has some 6 rooms all very well maintained.. all new construction with modern bathrooms and its all pristine clean.Our luggage and even shoes were sanitized before check-in. We were welcomed by Sameer who is the owner, manager and awesome host. Super jolly to talk and interact.I would really like to thank Mr. Sameer as he made our travel easy to commute to Havelock n Neill island by arranging govt.tickets,cabs at each destinations,scooter was available at the hotel itself,As it was our first trip to Andaman his suggestions were really helpful. Infact before going to Havelock n neil he alerted us to take cash along as we might find issues with ATMs n card swiping machines.He even suggested approx. auto fares,places to dine in City and where to shop.All rooms are clean and super comfortable to stay. their Suite has with a full long glass style balcony to over looking the sea.only drawback during my stay was their breakfast as due to our fairy booked early morning they gave us bread butter jam packed +frooti which doesnt count as a brekfast if u hv booked a room with morning breakfast. The hospitality was amazing be it welcoming, guiding guest for the local travel and above all being so supportive in case of guest facing any issue in the city. The owner Sameer was extremely friendly, he helped us like a friend when we forgot our baggage in the auto rickshaw. He made all the efforts to make sure we have great memories of the hospitality.

He is the owner, manager and awesome host. Super jolly to talk and interact. During our talks he shared areas of interest in port Blair.. suggestions for restaurants and where and what all to shop. All is suggestions were spot on for Havelock and Neil.. we took them and found them to be so apt and correct ! He even suggested approx. auto fares, 2 Wheler rent and places to dine in City.Our room was especially decorated as a honeymoon Suite. super beautifully decorated with Rose petals, balloons and night lights all over the room. felt super special. It was really nice gesture of Sameer.All rooms are clean and super comfortable to stay. their Suite has with a full long glass style balcony to over looking the sea and the Harriet peak (thus the name of the BnB). Morning breakfast was an elaborated spread, where Samir himself ensure we had enough and hot poori too!

Small bed and breakfast situated in the heart of the city. We booked it thinking it to be a hotel which was a cause for disappointment because it is very small with rooms opening directly to the reception or breakfast area.The hosts go out of their way to make the stay wonderful, help plan your itinerary with useful suggestions and contacts. All in all, a good stay if you dont think of it as a hotel.

It was nice stay for 3 nights. It is actually a home which they have converted into hotel. Service is very good. Rooms are neat and clean. Owner is very good and supportive. You can trust on them. They will provide best info for sightseeing. One star less I gave for prize. It was overpriced. We paid 7k for one night. There are no other facilities. It is good for only stay. They dont have even restaurant but they provide food in room if you order.

We stayed here for 3nights & had a phenomenal time with friends. It is situated at a central location named Phoenix Bay in Port Blair & is adjacent to all tourist spots.It was a very good decision to book The Harriet View. It was my first time to Andaman and the hotel has enhanced my experience in all aspects. The rooms were neat and clean. The service was amazing and the food was ummm..yummy.I would specifically mention about the hospitality of Mr Abdul Hamid(host) and his entire staff for making our stay memorable.Looking forward to stay at this place again for my next visit to Andaman...

I had a bad experience in Holiday Inn, Havelock and my last day stay was in The Harriet View.I was worried thinking about how the hotel will be before reaching the hotel. But everything changed when I reached the hotel reception. The gesture of the owner (Mr. Sameer), the personal touch, the way he talked, he personally took us to our room, asked about our experience, if any place to visit, suggested places to visit as per our conversation, seek to arrange cab, etc.The room was the same as seen in the Google review. It was well arranged, clean, spacious, bathroom was so good, all are well arranged and placed. Its homely feel with very warm experience. Food was good (bit pricy but will not pinch when you taste it). The place is not a great place but the view from the balcony is good, easy access to all major places. It was an awesome experience without any doubt. Please book and stay in this hotel if you want a calm, clean, friendly place. Very limited rooms (six) so might not able to get the deal. The food preparation takes time, so be patient when order food.

Harriet view hotel in Port Blair is excellent stay. The hotel people are very helpful and courteous. It is not very far from airport and near to the city center and Port Blair jail. Rooms are very spacious with good open space outside where you can sit and relax and have a view of mount Harriet and jetty which is nearby. Breakfast is too good and sure you will not miss your home as it is as good as home cooked food, if you are leaving hotel early in morning they even pack your breakfast. People are extremely courteous as if they are your family member. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying at port Blair. also the pictures shown are correct and you will find the same.

Best place to stay in Port Blair, friendly people and very neat place with quality interiors and spacious rooms. Very reasonably priced as well, would be hard to get the rooms in season, so would advice to book much in advance so you dont have to settle for less. Location is excellent and the reception also helps with information about local places to visit and bike rentals cab services and any packages you need. They also serve breakfast. This is like a home stay, where you get personalized food and service. The staff is great, and very helpful in providing what ever you require(if possible). You can have a view of the Harriet mountain from the hotel. 15mins from the Airport, 10 mins from jetty, 5 mins from Abardeen market, 10 mins from cellular jail. A must stay hotel if in Port blair.The way that they welcome you, and the privacy provided.

Budget Hygenic Uncrammed BnB cum Hotel setup. The cherry on the cake is the owner of the establishment who is not only helpful but brutly honest about what to see, buy, eat, do in Andaman. Fairly newer in the scene of hotels but is well maintained.

It’s a newly constructed hotel with good interior. We had a very homely environment feel in this hotel. Manager and all staff were very caring. Food served was also good quality and from room you have a great view of nature. All in all a great place well maintained rooms and it’s a very nice decorating. It is a bit away from airport But taxi service is very good and so not a problem. I prefer if I again go then I want to stay again in same hotel.

Our room was lovely and clean and the beds and linen are nice and high quality. The aircon was wonderful. The staff are super helpful and friendly. We liked the hotel so much that we ended up returning for a second stay before leaving port Blair. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We have stayed in this hotel for couple of days. This hotel looks more like an apartment built in 60X40 in Bangalore !! Doest look like a hotel at all. And for the amount charged for the stay, its not at all worth it. And basic amenities like dental kit was not provided even after charging ~7.5k per night. For that amount, one can stay in a hotel like Taj in Bangalore. I suggest the owner to have a look at other hotels before charging so high, just to get to know how the hotel should be to charge this huge amount. And there is no proper cafeteria. Only 2 families can eat at a time in the cafeteria. Its so small ! And when it comes to breakfast, you wont get more than 3 varieties , including bread. But the taste was good. Just to compare, all other hotels where we stayed with similar cost structure gave min 6-7 varieties for breakfast. So we just wasted our money here. And moreover geyser was not working. When we asked for hot water, owner told - its so hot that one can take bath in cold water !! But finally they gave the hot water in one bucket. Entrance is pathetic. So overall, I dont suggest this hotel to anyone.

As they claim its truly a premium Bed & Breakfast homestay in Port Blair. For people who prefer to stay in homely accomodation rather than a hotel, its a perfect place. This 6 room property is located at a place where every other destination like airport, jetty, main market, Cellular Jail & a few good restaurants are nearby. Its run by Mr. Abdul Hamid, his family & other staffs who together will make u feel relaxed, safe & secure, specially if you are travelling with family. They also helped us with car pick ups/drops, ferry bookings & other related activities. Its quite a new property with beautiful & clean rooms & bathrooms. The breakfast is adequate & tasty. They have also come up with pre ordered buffet lunch/dinner recently. In fact in October, we were the first people to gorge on their buffet dinner spread having both veg & non-veg options. For me its a place where one can get value for money stay, decent wifi connection & fond memories to carry back home. A special thanks again to the full team of Harriet View. Hope they continue to maintain the same services in future also.

Our stay at the Harriet View was extremely comfortable and pleasant. The entire place is very neat and spic and span. The owner and his staff were very helpful and made sure that our stay was pleasant and comfortable in every way. The rooms were euipped with the electric kettle and a tv and the bathroom was as good as a five star property.The staff was so courteous that we felt at home away from home. We recommend this hotel to all those who visit Port Blair. It is true value for money.

Stunning viewpoints and very comfortable hotel with lovely staffI really loved staying at this hotel. I had a suite room on the first floor and while there is a bit of an echo, the views everywhere more than make up for it. There is a lovely small sitting area on beside we have dinning area, and also a excellant view of Andaman Port. This just lends to the atmosphere of the place. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast is fantastic with so much choice. We had a chef who was able to whip up masala tea, rice and then omelettes for breakfast. Priced reasonable so extremely good value. It lasted an hour and my face still feels great a week later. Appreciate the fact that they are laid back and you will be too. Reception were very friendly and always had a nice word for you.

The hotel is one of the best we could experience not only in portblair but among the hotels we have stayed in, during our andaman trip which includes portblair, havelok, neil, diglipur etc. The staff is very caring and ready to serve in the best way they can. We are vegetarians. And it is difficult to find veg food in andamans. But, here the vegetarian food is so tasty that we did not need to bother about food at all. I give it 10 out of 10 and strongly recommend to go and check it for your stay atleast once. The location of the hotel is also good. It located near Phoenix Bay. You will meet Mr. Sameer here, one of the best person we have met in portblair.

It was a pleasant home stay,hosts/owner were really friendly n responsible. Firstly i did not liked it as i expected proper hotel kind of thing but the staff there made me really comfortable. Room and washroom was clean. I would like to appreciate the chef... Food was wonderful. For a homely stay it was really nice.

Awesome property owners were humble & helpful. We stayed there for 2 days. One day(5th June) in Suite and 2nd day(10th June) on Deluxe room. Rooms were very clean. We really liked the stay. Breakfast was awesome. Staff was very helpful. Will definitely recommend this place to all for comfortable stay. Me and my wife really liked this place. I dont much words to explain. Just go and experience it. You will not feel that you are away from home.

Simply great !! These are the two words I want to say about Harriet view ! I stayed here for the first day of my week long trip. Room had all the basic ameneties, the food was excellent.The hotel staff was courteous and helpful.The breakfast had limited choice but as its a B&B you cant expect more. Its a family run place so everything they cook is fresh and really delicious. The owners are welcoming and help you as much as they can. Its also close by to the zonal anthropological museum which was not initially in my plan but i had some free time the next day and the one of the owners Samir readily helped me. All in all it was good. The place is not lavish so if you are expecting extremely large rooms with balconies and a sea view from every corner then its not a place for you. But if you are looking for a comfortable stay with warm welcome and excellent service, please consider it.

With limited no. of rooms, bookings are difficult to come by. We were looking for three rooms but finally had to manage with 2 . Hosts were welcoming and ready to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay.Rooms big, aesthetically decorated and very well maintained.Food was delicious and very courteous staff ensured a pleasant experience. Most importantly, it is centrally located and is very close to all tourist attractions. Will look forward to stay here again.

Nice place to stay, which is well connected to most of the tourist attractions. Rooms are quiet spacious with a good maintenance. Slightly over priced if you book the suite room considering the other sea side resorts with other facilities. Staff is helpful, esp. Mr. Samir is a nice person, he did a good guidance to roam around PB.

Its a six room inventory. Plus rooms are the best rooms with all the amenities you want. They have got deluxe rooms and suites room. Some suite room proper sea view rooms. It doesnt feels like a resort or hotel but the rooms they offer is far better than any 3 star hotels in port blair.

Visited portblair on Jan 19 th, nd checked into HARRIET VIEW!!Its a home modified to hotel!! But very good rooms & Honestly best local assistance nd hospitality from staff!! We stayed a total of three nights at the Harriet View, which is a recently opened B&B located pretty close to the center overlooking the sea. The room was modern, very clean and comfortable. The excellent food they offered is always freshly prepared, therefore it takes a little while, but it is definitely worth waiting for it! Awesome place with very good staff. They customised the food according to our requirements. Since it flight was delayed they were considerate enough to extend it stay by a couple of hours... Kudos to your service. Loved it.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. It is situated in Phoenix bay and near to many of the popular places to visit in Port Blair. The staff and the owner is so cooperative and helpful in every possible way. The breakfast served is very much fresh and tasty too!Cleanliness is the Moto of every hotel and The Harriet View excels in it!

It was our 3rd year anniversary we choose to spend in Andamans. I researched and selected this hotel after going through the reviews in make my trip. We spent the last day of our tour here in Harriet view. We got a suite room which was much to my likings. The décor was just minimum yet elegant. Each and every artifacts in the room looked as if it was hand picked for it. You can get a view of the jetty from the room itself. Even the hotel staff were very cordial and helpful. We booked a bike on rent which was delivered to our hotel. The morning breakfast item was limited but homely made. Overall the experience was very enjoyable and the stay will be memorable to us. Thank you.

We stayed at Harriet view between 3rd - 6th June 2018. I would recommend this place to my friends as well. Clean, homely atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice homestay. Had an amazing stay here. The room was very beautiful. Everything was clean. There is also a designated smoking area. The owner of the hotel is very polite and helpful. It is like home stay. No place for complaint. My flight was early in the morning so they packed breakfast. Vehicle services provided by them was reasonable price. It was great stay.

Only one thing HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and best place to stay in port blair. We stayed in the hotel from 14th -16th september and it was very pleasant experience. We stayed in their sea facing Suits. Rooms and Spacious and are optimally clean. Its a new built hotel and everything is super hygenic. Its run by a family and everyone in the family is very welcoming. You will feel completely like home. We requested them a few things and they were fulfilled with exceeding expectations. We celebrated our parents anniversary with them and they really helped us set it up from ordering cake to organizing our dinner and finally presenting them a cute gift. It was an amazing experience. We enjoyed thoroughly.

Luxury rooms, budget hotel, tourist attractions are very near, they prepared us a delicious food and Mr.Samir helped us, as a close relative, cant see nice person like him. Excellent room service. Cant see such a owner and service in any other hotel.Thank u samir.

We were in the hotel for 2 days and could not stress more on the hospitality and comfort they have provided in these days. The hotel is located at the central location. They provide best service with a great staff to make u feel at home. Talking about food, it was very good whigh satisfies the taste buds perfectly. Newly built hotel on MA Road... not much people are aware of its location yet... but this hotel is superb... class rooms with all amenities... superawsome view from hotel room... evrything is provided and in brandnew condition... owner of this place is always ready to help... much like ur support in portblair than ur hotel owner literally... i dont think any other hotel can provide this package in such an economical price... you ll simply love the experience!!

Full homely based with kitchen and dining . The owner & boys are so kind and helpful. Moreover they treat you as there family members , as well as they serve homely made foods with special care. I would definitely recommend this place. They are always informative and helpful to tourists. you will never feel u r away from your home.

A beautiful small cosy hotel more like a homestay welcomed us when we reached Port Blair. Mr. Hameed & his family son & daughter along with his team really made our stay memorable & homely. Courteous and very helpful. A big 5 star for the hotel & staffs.The rooms are quite big, neat and beautifully done along with the bathrooms which were also very big & clean.The entrance to the hotel is not that catchy but that didn’t hamper our stay at all. Its location is not very far from the Cellular Jail and also close to airport.The warmth of the owners really made you feel like home , we were given whatever we requested for. The breakfast which was included was really nice & freshly made.Would definitely recommend here to stay. Thanks once again.

The owner is very interactive and friendly. Employees are great. Spacious rooms with sofas, big bathroom and good home style breakfast.

Looking at the Google reviews we(me & my wife) booked this hotel for stay in Portblair and it proved to be the most wise decision. We had an amazing stay at The Harriet View.It started with the owner Hameed Uncle waiting at the entrance road to receive us.We were served welcome drinks while our check-in formalities were completed.We were happy to find the room meet our expectations.Most importantly the hotel location is perfect and in the proper market area where you can get everything.All the staffs are very friendly and helpful.We faced lot of challenges due to bad weather but hotel owner Hameed Uncle was always there to help us.You will hardly find any owner so helpful and friendly.Thanks for making our stay so hassle free and memorable
