Right off the road but still pretty quiet. Lots of trees, great tent sites. Site has a fire pit and picnic table.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Great sites, camp hostess, v clean bathrooms and good wood for fire pits. I gave 4 stars not 5 because its hard to find a perfectly flat site for a tent ⛺.

Usually when I go camping at Deckers I camp down by the river over by Deckers Corner and this place is awesome! All the spots are surrounded in trees, very secluded. Ill definitely be coming back!

This is a nice campground. we spent 4 days there. Got there on a Wednesday, we had the whole campground to ourselves until Friday afternoon, then one other site was occupied. Not much to do there but it is a short drive to the south platte for fishing. Private and relaxing

Just out of forest lines and get to have a fire. Wood all over and big camp sites. Amazing place.

Right on the highway. Very noisy. Also right on the mountain bike trail. Many of the sites are set up backwards. Very nice camp host!

I enjoyed my stay here. Its nice because there is a bathroom and places to park RVs and to have groups. When I stayed there was a group of 25 or so and it was nice. There were also a lot of trees to throw up a hammock which a lot of us did and there wasnt an issue. Its near Deckers and the river so it was good to take the kids down to that area. The biggest downside is that we had kids and dogs and it was pretty close to the road so we couldnt just let them run around in the woods. Without kids or dogs I would highly recommend this place.

This was my 2nd trip to Kelsey Campground in the beautiful Pike National Forest and so far, it is my favorite place to camp and relax. It is only about an hour from my home, which is one of the reasons I like it so much. The campground is clean and well maintained by the host who lives on site during the camping season, which is another reason why I will come back. You can hear the traffic sounds from County Road 126, but other than that, it was fairly quiet. If you are looking for a small clean campground close to Denver with great scenery, then this is the place to go.

No frills dry camping but nice. We came to bike and were equiped with our travel trailer. Great location for the biking we wanted to do. Site host was extremely pleasant.

Awesome campground. The sites are spaced far enough away from each other. Functional toilets, water that can be pumped, shooting range and hiking/biking trails close by.

Every time I go to Colorado we stay at Kelsey campground. I went there for the first time as a kid with my parents-sometimes we also took my grandparents and some other relatives- and the last time with my husband and two sons. We actually named our daughter after it; Kelsey was born 9 months after our last stay there. We loved to climb and explore the mountainside and found a lot of beautiful quartz. We used to play frisbee golf through the trees before Disc Golf was popular; my dad would tie pieces of cloth around trees to make the course, so you just had to hit the tree to get in the hole. So many memories of this beautiful campground! Its kept up nicely but not over done so it still feels the same as it did 30 years ago. If you love camping, you have to stay here at least once!

Small cozy campground with a friendly campground host. The Scraggy trailhead starts near the entrance. There is also a campground loop trail starting at the trailhead. Fill your camper up first with water- just a handpump. Pit toilets. Good location to use the Buffalo Creek Recreation Area. Most sites have shade.
