UPDATE 8/22/21 4PM: STILL NO PHARMACIST - THEY NEVER OPENED. CVS - PAY A PHARMACIST 5X TO COME IN AND WORK. YOU CAN’T JUST NOT OPEN. IT IS BEYOND A MEDICAL LIABILITY.Please transfer your prescriptions to a different pharmacy. I’ve already transferred mine and am in the process of transferring my husband’s. As other reviewers have stated: long phone hold times for patients and doctors calling in, understaffed, delays in getting prescriptions filled, you only get answers if you go in person. The pharmacy technicians and CVS staff are so sweet but overworked.I personally have called the corporate office four times about this unmitigated disaster of a pharmacy. This morning 8/22/21 the pharmacist didn’t show up at 10am. It is possible corporate just didn’t schedule a pharmacist. Everyone has been waiting around to see if they can get their medications filled. People are coming in angry and no one is able to help. The store manager is trying his best and is very professional but even he isn’t getting answers from higher up.
Dont use this as your pharmacy unless you feel like sitting on hold for close to two hours every time you call, even when your prescriptions were supposed to be filled the week before and youve already called multiple times, waited on hold each time for up to two hours, only to be told that your rx will be filled but yet here we are, a week late, and its still not filled so you have to call and wait on hold again, because if you drive up, youre sitting in the parking lot for an hour waiting. Who has this kind of time to waste?? This happens every single month...
As someone in the medical field, I really love the staff here and appreciate what they do BUT am posting this in case it can help with their SEVERE understaffing situation. The pharmacists and techs are horribly over worked and behind. The phone system either does not work, or the staff is too busy to answer the phone and you will not ever be able to talk to them unless you physically come in, and then there is always a long line.I truly hope that the staffing situation improves - otherwise I recommend that you take your pharmacy needs somewhere else…. From a time investment standpoint, I will not be able to afford wasting more of my time here if it continues.
This issue has been ongoing for over 2 years. I have a prescription I MUST call to have refilled. The pharmacy does not and will not answer the phone because they are too busy. So, they force me to drive to the CVS on 7th Street and Indian School to request a refill. I have had this same issue at the 19th and Indian School location and thought switching locations would resolve the issue. It did not. Both locations are absolutely terrible. I have never experienced such blatant disregard for others time. I am currently on hold at this very moment on the phone and I am sitting at 1 hour, 51 minutes and 52 seconds. No one has even clicked over to greet me. I have stayed on hold and arrived at the pharmacy and they take me at the counter while I am sitting on hold on my cell phone.
-5 stars if I could....Pharmacy is absolutely terrible. I was using the pharmacy at Frys on 7th Ave and camelback which is equally as terrible and thought switching to this location would be less stressful when it comes time to refill my meds but oh boy was I wrong. Dont even try calling to have your medication filled as they dont pick up their phones. Ever. Im constantly late on my medication and its all due to the damn pharmacies. Save yourself some time and get your prescriptions mailed to you if you have that optionCompletely terrible and such a waste of energy
The pharmacy doesn’t answer their phone, and when you call into the front store, they are not helpful whatsoever either. I need to transfer a prescription but can’t get ahold of them to do so, so now I’ll have to drive farther out of my way.
Friendly staff very good I suggest anybody go there I go there several times a week to shop
They never answer the phone. Ive been on hold for 30 minutes now. This isnt my only bad experience here, a lady pharmacist didnt ready prescription right and filled the order wrong. She was rude about it too once I proved her wrong. She tried to prescribe something that was over the counter that had nothing to do with what my doctor originally prescribed me. For those of you who dont know, this is not within her scope of practice. Check you prescriptions very well and dont let try to prescribe you something you dont need. Not the best place for prescriptions.
I will be transferring all my prescriptions. They used to have great customer service. No more. I waited over a half hour after waiting over a week and it still wasn’t done! It was like they forgot about me. Done!
The pharmacy always closes before they are supposed to. This has happened multiple times. Please make your staff keep the pharmacy open until The pharmacy is officially closed.
I cant believe that every time Ive had an interaction with this pharmacy but Ive waited over an hour to get someone. Is corporate ever going to hire more people or is this issue going to fall on deaf ears like everything else in this country has been doing.
Obviously if there’s no people it’s because there’s a shortage get a life and stop leaving reviews you ugly losers :| cvs corporate obviously doesn’t care about the patients only $$$
You cannot get the pharmacy on the phone. I have had to reach then several times because theyve had my prescriptions and have not let me know they were ready. They have also had my prescriptions for days and not filled them. My dr called in my prescriptions on Monday anx now its Thurs and I cannot reach then to see if they are ready before I take a cab to their location. How do you consistantly not answer your phone???? My asthma is out of control and I feel like Im going to die ...answer your famn phone!!! Its time to move my prescriptions to a different pharmacy ...maybe Costco has their sht together more than cvs. Lets hope
Idk if they fired everybody or what but there is only 1-2 people working here. If you go through the drive thru you will wait a minimum of 30 mins. If you go inside maybe 15 mins. The black guy does his job well but obviously seems overworked.
I have not had bad experiences at this place until today.I dont have anything to say about the pharmacy team, they were respectful and shown great customer service skills. I wish I could say the same about the cashier girl at the front desk. It seems that she was tired or maybe she wasnt having a good day, but the shipping experience that she gave me was the worst I ever had in a long time, she didnt even smile at least once.I am really disappointed on her customer service skills. She wasnt kind and she refused to give me cash back without giving me an explanation. Her lack of kindness got me really angry.I miss the tall guy that was there before greeting to every single customer once they stepped into the store. How important is nowadays to have this kind of people attending customers at front.I know hiring good employees is very difficult but one quality they MUST have is kindness and good customer service skills.I wanted to tell this *pink hair girl (only mentioned this description so the administration knows who is this person) the bad impression she was giving me but I am kind so I didnt want to loose my temper at the end of a very busy day at work. I just came home wanting to share my experience.
Im a nurse practitioner and every time I call this pharmacy I am literally on hold for 45 minutes or more. Terrible service IMHO...
Over the last year I’ve had more and more problems with my prescriptions here. They are not getting filled on time, it is hard to get help on the phone, and I do not always get notifications. I’ve been made to wait on the store for over an hour while for prescriptions that were late. I will be transferring my prescriptions and never shopping in this store.
Their pharmacy at this location is the WORST pharmacy Ive ever had to pick up prescriptions. They are Always short staffed . And SLOW AT getting things done , rube and not helpful .. DO YOUR SELF THE FAVOR AND TAKE YOUR PRESCRIPTION ELSE WHERE.. 👎👎👎👎👎
Always quick drive up service. Very friendly pharmacy staff
The entire pharmacy team left in March 2020, and their replacements are terrible. The main pharmacist doesnt speak English, and I bet her Spanish is even worse. She also does not know how to operate a cash register. No one showed her. Its too bad this happened. The store manager is always very friendly and helpful, but the pharmacy ruins the entire experience.
Thank you Eddie. You were so helpful!!! U helped me save over $15. Thanks for ur help once again!!!!!!!
This CVS closed 15 minutes early and wouldn’t let me in to buy a blanket for a homeless person on the street.
I’m glad To see other people made reviews about being racially profiled. A guy kept watching and following me around the store so I called him out and pretended like he wasn’t stalking me. Ha!
For a retail chain pharmacy, the staff cant get much better. Have been using them for 8+ yrs. 2 shining stars are Margarita and Elena. These young ladies rock and are fantastic at their jobs!
Fast service and affordable
I was very anxious when I went to CVS as I had lost an important medication for my glaucoma. Elena was an absolute saint! She was helpful and reassuring. You are so lucky to have her and I am grateful for her great help!!!!!
I never felt so watched in my life. And they didnt even try play it off. But damn! Give me some elbow room.
The staff is really nice and the place is kept clean. I go here once or twice a week and had no problems. There is normally not many other customers on when I go.
I was on a phone call and in the middle of it he didn’t even excuse himself, talked to a fellow employee, came back to me, didn’t answer my question, and hung up. The customer service sucks.
RACIALLY PROFILED. My wife and I have been shopping and filling our perscriptons here since we moved in to the area.4 years as dedicated customers didnt prevent the manager from sneaking around, crouched down behind displays trying to stalk my wife while she shopped for her perfume after we got our scrips. Since Im a large black man and shes with me she had to be stealing, right?!
Pharmacist and staff are very professional and polite. They are respectful of your time and seem happy to be on duty. They are never too busy to answer questions and they always check new prescriptions against existing ones to insure against interactions.
Great staff and helpful. Thanks to the guy who helped me check out this morning.
Miss Yolanda is super helpful for finding you what you need and making sure you get the best deal!
Woman at the front was very helpful giving me tips for getting around downtown.Store was clean and organized.
Pharmacy is absoulty AMAZING!!!Elena is very warm and caring! She really cares about her customers!I am glad I switched from walgreens to CVS!easy, Fast, and great friendly faces!!!Thank you for all you do!!!!!
Great staff - they went out of their way to be helpful when I needed some help finding something I needed.
The young lady always working is a pleasure to deal with.
How about you change your online hours information too, so people wont drive to your useless store and find out the pharmacy is closed. They close at 9pm not at 10pm
They are across from a hospital and wont open until all the clinics open... Making it so anyone that works in the hospital or has an early appointment cant get their needs meet.
Love this place, get in!!!
Pharmacy staff is the very best!
Friendly & helpful Customer Service
Its nothing special.
Ghetto as heck here
Fine
Friendly
Nice staff, absolutely terrible at everything else. Dont use this pharmacy
