The ORIGINAL Champaran Meat Shop, it is the second shop when you enter into the lane having a red board. The mutton ahuna and chicken ahuna is full of spices, oil and taste. Always crowded. Mutton coats 1300 per kg with the gravy so 250gms would be about 3-4 pieces. You can ask for a small serving of extra curry.

It is not a place for vegetarian because all around were eating nonveg. But panner masala was good and its rice was also very good.

A spicy masala stuffed Mutton curry made in pots, its soft and very tasty. Usually they use big pots which can prepare 2kg mutton, but you can order how much you want. I really liked when I ordered 1Kg, they have first added 1kg of mutton pieces and then gravy additionally, this gives you exact 1kg mutton and gravy excluded. 1200 per kg champaran meat. Mutton was too good.

Awesome taste of Mutton handi but Chicken item is not up to the mark

I went there with lot of expectations but its totally waste. First of all food taste is pathetic. There is no taste at all. Second the food is expensive. Third you have to wait like ages to get your food served. They gave me 4 pieces, out of which two pieces were so hard that I couldnt eat. I complaint about the same and they replied it happens. Why dont I dont pay and say the same? Total waste of money and time.

It used to be the best mutton shop in Patna but the outrageous amount of orders it gets nowadays has led to a decline in quality. The mutton is often not cooked as long as it used to be. Overall, the place is still a great value for money but I dont think its the best in town.

Never ever visit this place. Visited recently to find myself served Raw ahuna mutton. Told the manager and the staffs but they think themselves as some kind of hooligans and forced me to pay even when I dint eat it. These kind of shops should be shut down for their arrogant and ill-mannered behaviours towards their customers. With this I wont be visiting this place again and would not recommend anyone to do so. Best place for mutton lovers. Dining not very high end, but the taste definitely is. Parcel and parking available easily. Per head cost as per July 2021 would be around 300 for a satisfactory meal(alone or in group) and 500 for a variety meal(when in group). Staff is very quick and polite. They serve food and other add-on items like salad, etc in no time. Must try item is Ahuna Handi Mutton. If youre a non-veg lover and are in Patna, you must visit it at least once. The place is also not very far from Patna Junction Railway station.

The Champaran Handi Chicken was totally worth all the hype! They have a family sitting room upstairs, and some seats downstairs as well. Toilet and Washbasin are provided inside on each floor.Baati was a little too salty and Chapattis got cold, but who cares when the Ahuna Chicken is so lip smacking tasty...

Just a hoax.The restaurant looks like a pandaal from inside.Extremely bad taste.They chicken was too sweet.When asked the guy saidMasala acche se nahi dala hai, kabhi kabhi ho jata hai.I didnt eat and paid off.They didnt hesitated a bit taking the payment and saidagli baar acche se bana denge.There will be no next time.

A place defaming the champaran meatDish for more profitable business. Small dine room where you have to wait for your turn . Food quality is below average as per the cost theyre charging i.e, 700rs/kg for chicken only. They must improve their service as well. People visit here only because of the name of Champaran style handi meat , the restaurant must improve their food quality as well. Could be a way better.

This eatery is located just opposite to Taramandal, Fraser Road.We tried their Ahuna Mutton, Mutton Stew, Chicken Stew, Bamboo Mutton, Bamboo Chicken, Litti, Roti and Rice.Bamboo Mutton & Chicken, they both are cooked within the culm of a bamboo. Both were perfectly cooked and the spices were on a balanced side.Ahuna Mutton (also known as Handi Mutton), a mutton dish cooked in closed earthen pot over medium/low heat. Mutton pieces were succulent and perfectly cooked.Service was fast and staffs were courteous.Recommend!

I came from Allahabad to Patna, Old champaran meat house just to taste their Ahuna mutton, unfortunately it was not upto that mark. Mutton was uncooked, service was poor, whenever i ask for anything, the waiter says it is not available !! Overall bad experience. Coming from Allahabad to here is not worth it..

Champaran Meat house is famous for Meat but you can get paneer and chicken also there. Mostly People Spicy Meat refer but in chamaparan you would be get little bit sweeter rather than more spicy. If youre spicy lover than chamaparan meat house is not a best option. But if youre want fresh meat in your budget then chamaparan is best for you.

Super awesome tasty food made in a unique concept of matkas. The meat is slow cooked over coals in a sealed matka. It is soul satisfyingly and most certainly the best meal I have had in Patna ever. Not a fancy place but clean and with prompt and pleasant service. Menu is limited but super tasty food.
