The bank is good but staff and there policy are not. According to them if you are an account holder of any public or semi private bank only then you can use your passbook as your Id proof for passport application. Even after requesting them twice that please put a stamp on my photo attached in the passbook they were not ready to do that saying we dont do people verification while account opening if this is the case I highly doubt the security offered by them. This is the first bank who is saying we wont do verification while account opening. There policies were on another level as according to them the passbook can only be used for transactional records not identity purpose later on rejecting my passport application. Not expected this behaviour from kotak.

(Some)Staff is good and helpful but policy is extremely ridiculous, they can not put stamp on your passbook photo section as other bank does, which makes passbook nearly worthless. Telling that they are not authorised to do so. Wasted my whole day just because of this super power to put stamp or not.This proves they dont do any verification of their customers they just want numbers so when it came to take the guarantee they run away with they extremely powerful authority. Just remembering their crm smile while opening my salary account like he really needs nothing except my signatures.

Well maintained and clean branch, helpful staffs nice location easy to notice from a vehicle but no parking lot

The best thing about this bank is that it gives 6 % interest on savings account. Perhaps it is good for personal accounts. This particular brach is managed by friendly people. But be warned, if you are an institution and want to enter into big transactions. I am on the Administration of a reputed institution. Their higher officials come with promises and disappointment you with their lack of professionalism. We had four major financial transactions with Kotak Bank through their officer Mr. Shubhankar. Each time, we were assured customer satisfaction and that is their weak point.
