One of the best and finest pastries you can ever buy in France! This was my first visit here and I absolutely adored this place. The service was extremely satisfying and extremely pleasant to be there. I will definitely visit this place again and buy different sorts of pastries again.
Carl Marletti is incredible. I dont understand how they are able to create the pastries and desserts that they do. During the quarantine Ive slowly been eating my way through their menu so I have tried nearly everything they make. Everything is so good it requires your full concentration. 6,90€ might seem like a lot of money at first but it is worth every cent. 😍😍😍
Best dessert I’ve ever had!!! The flavor is great and not too sweet but full of surprise in every bite. Also, the staff is very nice and thoughtful. We had takeout and they put sticker to fix our dessert in the box so that the dessert could keep its beautiful shape on the way home. It’s highly recommend to the dessert lover to give it a try. You will feel greatly satisfied!
One of the hippest and definitely cool pâtisseries on town. Everything is so maticules and the service is quite great for a place like a pâtisserie.Their inventory changes over the day, so the sooner you are in, the more.lokely you are to get what you desire. The line could take a good 5-10 minutes wait, but definitely worth it.
Best in Paris. Staff could be friendlier but the baked goods are insane.
Beautiful. Delicious. Friendly service. Expensive. What more could you want from a pastry shop?
Incredible pastry! I had heard the name Carl Marletti but seemed to almost stumble across the pattiserie as it was close to where I was staying. After asking for recommendations I was pointed to the Lily Valley. The pastry was, as previously mentioned, incredible. The choux were crisp and yet melted away to reveal a delicately perfumed filling, and cream on top was equally delicate, with small crisp pieces scattered throughout. Perhaps just as appealing is the presentation, and as demonstrated by the picture, Carl Marlettis creations are a pleasure to both look at, and eat.
Rude customer service. We arrived and there was no queue outside the store so we just waited by the door as theres is a limit of 2 people inside. A couple more people arrived and queued the other way. Then a person from the store dismissed us in a rude way saying that this side is the queue for orders only and that we should queue the other way (a sign was only available in french outside), not caring that we were there first and we dont speak french, so we couldnt read the sign. I wont be coming back throwging more money for that attitude.
In short - this is a place to go for dessert excellence ..Patiserrie in Paris is excellent almost everywhere. I think Carls patiserrie stands out because of the refinement and detail in each item. You do not go there to get a standard desert or chocolate. You go for an elevated version.I felt bad eating a Marie Antoinette while walking - it is so extravagent that it deserves to be sat with and appreciated . The violet crystals adorn this creation inviting you in... the freshness of the raspberries against the rose cream and delicate macarons.. my word.
I was so excited and disappointed by the error made by such a great pastry shop. Carl Marletti used to be one of my favorite pastry shop in Paris, but today I found something in my éclair au pistache. I guess it is the tissue from the pastry brush. I was really shocked by the quality control and it should be my last time to step into this pastry shop.
Eating these pastries is like a religious experience. Unbelievably good
Unmissable place to sample incredible patisseries!
The best in Paris, Caramel eclair is my favorite.
One of the best and finest pastries you can ever buy in France! This was my first visit here and I absolutely adored this place. The service was extremely satisfying and extremely pleasant to be there. Your pastries were amazingly delicious, and very unique amongst others. I will definitely visit this place again and buy different sorts of pastries again.Highly recommended you will not be disappointed!
The Fraisier cake was delicious.
I received macarons from this store for my birthday weekend. Juicy, fruity, and creamy. Loved them. I will visit the shop to explore more!
Citron tart was the single best pastry I had in my stay in Paris! Staff were super polite and friendly and showroom was perfect, and prices were on par with many less wonderful patisseries I visited. Very recommended.
The best pastry shop in Paris. Product of high quality, staff very friendly and price totally match product offered. This is our sanctuary when we stop in Paris from London.
Great choice
Love the variety is selections. Would not go any where for fine pastry. Salted caramel eclair is a must try
Pastries sacrificing flavour and originality for the tackiness and gaudiness of gelatine, unnatural and superfluous colours, gold leafs , etc. They are not transparent about their sourcing as well which is the least one can expect in this day and age. Im baffled by their success when there are more respectful and innovative chefs in a 2km radius
It’s delicious but pricey, try the normal pastry shop higher in rue mouffetard, they have excellent cakes at a normal price.
A pastry chef introduced me to this little shop. One can easily miss the nicely decorated but unassuming store front. It would be a shame to miss it. The caramel eclairs are heavenly. The award winning lemon tart is also amazing. Put Carl Marletti on your list of places to stop along your walk of Rue Mouffetard.
Delicious pâtisserie hidden near the lower end of rue Mouffetard. The shop is quiet and the front is unassuming, who would have thought such fantastic gems are waiting inside! The Lily Vallée is a masterpiece.
The lemon one which is the most famous one is really good.
Calm place in a quiet neighbourhood, a lot of great options.
Amazing deserts and super kind stuff! The guimauves were addictive and the treat was so nice. Merci beaucoup !
Nice place delicious food reasonable prices bought bread and sweet treats too. All delicious.!
Best lemon yuzu tarte of my life! Good balance of sweetness and acidity.
What a lovely pastry ... i love it..
A very nice little bakery, with fantastic cakes, they look like a paint
Wow pistachio eclairs pretty much blew my socks off, its an experience this shop ... wowwee
Pastries were ok and customer service is perfect.
Absolutely delicious; some of the best pastries in Paris. Worth the trip to the Latin Quarter; eclairs are to die for. Eclairs run about ~5 euro and other pastries are 7ish; slightly more expensive than you can find in other shops but oh my goodness worth the price ten times over. Discover it early because youll want to go back. Go earlier in the day because by the time Carl closes, people will have bought him out for the day. One block away from the Censier Debaunton metro stop (pink line).
Good number of choices of pastries, excellent taste
My favourite in the world.
The best pastry chef in the whole neighborhood period.
Best Mille-feuille and best tarte au citron. I have to rate a 5 star!!
Yummy!Enjoy a stop at Carl Marlettis shop to taste his wonderful creations and contemplate his amazing Easter Egg crafted with #Valrhona chocolate.
Excellent cakes/desserts. Deserve visit.
The best in Paris
Oh lord. Most wonderful Mille Feuille in the world. Coffee is so so but thats Paris and you go here for the pastry. Not to be missed.
The best eclairs in Paris. Ive tried them all, from Stohrer, to Laduree, to LAtelier de lEclairs... Carl Marlettis are the best. The cream is tasty and the dough is nicely puffed but with a nice firmness.
Desserts are wonderful. But there arnt any seats to sit
Extremely good but extremely expensive !
Staff was very friendly and polite.
Amazing pastries. Try all the eclairs!!
Tasty pastries!
Decent. But what pastry shop in France isnt amazing?
First rate with a lot of subtlety
Good atmosphere
No seat, no coffee, so we sit in the park in front of Carl Marletti

Terrible
Always a very warm welcome. From the doorstep we take full eyes and saliva in the mouth! ...All of their cakes are fabulously good. And what about the decoration, it is always superbly beautiful. I recommend Carl Marletti, you will never be disappointed.
What to say ? I have frequented this pastry shop for more than 3 years, both for travel cakes, and individual or large-format pastries. I have never been disappointed with a product, everything I have tasted is tasty (and I can tell you that I have tasted it). In short, he is a wonderful pastry chef, besides the fact that you are always served by a professional and very polite team.
Loyal customer, the pastries are always fresh, pleasant on the palate and well presented.A super pleasant, dynamic, responsive, and very professional team.A wide choice of pastry, made with quality ingredients.A very good address, a must for pastry lovers.
Super nice shop with very beautiful windows that make you want to. I had the very good Paris Brest, and the violet cake which is also good but a little too sweet, the eclair is also good, the Montblanc is a little disappointing compared to that of Angelina. The prices for éclairs are around € 4, cakes € 6. The shop offers a large selection of éclairs and choux. To test
A shop as pretty as the products are good. Thank you to the seller for taking the time to explain the composition of all the cakes to us. We will definitely be going back.
I went by this morning and took 6 pieces. They were all good. (just the flan because Im not a fan in general. The dough was succulent, very crispy :)Paris Brest has fallen as well as carioca😊 A pleasant taste surprise. The pastries are not too sweet and I was never disappointed.Only downside: the removal of Mango Maé😢I have been going there for several years and this is the first time that I have been served by Carl Marletti himself 🤭😊🥰😍 Adorable and smiling!
