What a terrible agency. If your dream is to be mistreated and lose money, then this is the agency for you.

I applied with the company and the process took over a month, it took them two weeks to contact my references alone, when I did finish the onboarding, they offered me a contract in which I said I would sign it after reviewing it, but it wasnt worth it so I didnt sign it and I got threatened with a $1,000 fine for not signing the contract, I never heard of this before and I brushed it off because I knew it wouldnt hold up, they even went so far as to say, you probably wont pay it so well just send it to collections and put on on your credit report as an unpaid debt, I was upset at first, the recruiter was telling me you should have said this and you should have said that, no, I said what I said, (in my NeNe leakes voice). lol, but I got over it because I know this wont hold up either, but beware of this companys shady, low down business practices, they try to control you with fear, and intimidation.

I worked two contracts with this company and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. My recruiter never was in my corner and constantly talked to me as if I were an idiot. I had to fight for hours with guaranteed pay and the hospital which held my contract treated me as if I were an extra which could be called off anytime they desired. My recruiter literally told me my pay would never, ever increase and she tried to make me believe I couldnt do better elsewhere. After literally sitting in a hotel room 1000 miles from home waiting to work, I got called off again due to low census and I packed my bags, left and never looked back. The thing is with this company, they have a huge, grand building with way too many employees which you will ultimately pay for with all your hard work. They receive just as much as the other travel companies for what you do but the difference here is that they keep a larger portion of your earnings to pay for that grandiose building and the 15 or so people it takes them to process your hard work. They talk to you as if you are just a hired hand because that is all they think of you and your work. I know dozens of other coworkers which have gone on to other agencies and are happy they did. I am one of them. If you value your hard work as I do, run away from this one and dont look back. If you choose to take a contract from them anyway, well.....I told you so. Jesus may forgive but a mistreated employee doesnt forget.

This isn’t a very good travel company. I have tried calling and inquiring about information and no one returned my calls or answered my questions. I guess I’ll try another travel company.

If I could give 0/5 I would. Please beware of this company. I have traveled for a long time. Used many different companies. This one is the worst. My initial contract was okay.. had a few concerns and red flags.. the next two really sealed the deal. Low rates, shady recruiters. Housing in rough areas of the city. Always having to double check pay stubs to ensure correct pay. My conversations and concerns when I spoke out to the manager were shared with the recruiter. Highly unprofessional conduct. It was a very uncomfortable experience. Be sure to research and check out the more reputable companies. Travel nursing is a select group of great nurses. Use your resources. Companies like this forget that travel nurses talk and hold a great sense of camaraderie. Bluepipes has a great 2018 list of best companies. Hope this helps and saves someone the same trouble I experienced.

0/5. This company has a cutthroat and dishonest culture. My relationship with my recruiter Emily I thought had been Tested by time, two years to be exact. Turned out she had been lying to me and going behind my back, which I had to find out from an employee of the facility I was working with and it made me look unreputable. Unfortunate situation but as I said this seems to be acceptable behavior at Aureus, from the managers down to the recruiters. Nurses beware!
