First time takeout order. We ordered through Ubereats.I would order again.Pro Tip: Seems like the orders of curry come in small containers and then you get a decent amount of rice. You dont need to order more, but you can. We ordered more and now we have 2 extra boxes of rice. (there was only 2 of us eating this order which was close to $100)Had an issue. I did like that when I called them they handled the issue quickly. Its going to require us to order again, but like I said, I would, so its good. You could tell they were struggling a little over there, but they still took the time to address the issue.2 standout dishes with us feeling quite satisfied at the end. Not every dish was a winner for us, but we liked them well enough.Below is the breakdown.Pricing seems inline with most restaurants. I used to eat a lot of Indian food back home (we have one thats on the where to eat on Anne Hardys list for example), but not as much in Omaha.Lamb Vindaloo3.5-4 starsIt was hard deciding how I felt about this one. The lamb was very tender, but it wasnt my favorite vindaloo sauce.Goat Rogan Josh4 stars?Honestly Im not 100 percent sure. I do remember, again the goat was very tender. Ive had goat where its tied to the bone and kind of tough. This was really soft and easy to chew.Mixed Tandoori4 starsWe were missing the shrimp which was what I primarily wanted from this. Called the restaurant. They said no problem, they would fix it.Veg Pulao4 starsIve never had this dish before. I expected it to be more spiced. It was a pretty mild rice side dish with some vegetables in it.Chicken Makhani5 starsI was told this is the equivalent of butter chicken. Its a tomato based sauce and is a little thicker.Chicken Tikka Masala5 starsThis was the only dish that was a little spicy.This dish was similar to the Makhani chicken.Mixed Basket3.5 stars due to delivery, could be a 5 star if at the restaurant.Its just not the same when naan isnt fresh. This isnt the restaurants fault at all, its just this doesnt always translate well for delivery.

Small fun environment with flavorful food. I got the Chicken Biryani and a Taj Mahal (Indian Lager). It was my first time having Biryani and it didnt disappoint. The beer is a MASSIVE 1L (also really good). Highly recommend this place if you are in the area. The staff was really friendly.

So one more Indian restaurant in Omaha and they continue to disappoint. I am not sure why they offer buffet if they cant provide the quality. We dont need quantity. They have a long menu for fine dining in eveningbut in buffet so limited option. Only one starter veg pakoda that was so cold even the snow outside felt warm. All the curries veg and non veg were cold. Chicken was the only option for non vegetarians, chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, chicken tikka(appetizer) and chicken biryani.The breads were naan and bhatura, I dont know why they had bhatura when there was no chick peas.Vegetarian curries were paneer, mix veg and potato. The dessert gulab jamun and mango custard were okay. The best thing was the mint chutney because you dont have to heat it. The ambience is okay not so great. I am not sure the food will be good in the evening at fine dining but the buffet was pathetic - yes exactly thats the word.

Went to pick up food that was supposed to be ready and already paid. No one was there. All doors were locked and no sign. No one was answering phone either...Website says closed Monday but that is not what is posted on yelp nor the actual door of the restaurant. Additionally, you should not be able to take order/$ if you are closed. This needs to be fixed ASAP. I messaged the restaurant for full refund on Tuesday and have yet to hear back

We took one night stoppage in Omaha when traveling to California from Ohio.As me and my husband both were craving for rice so we ordered some plain rice,egg curry and Navratan korma for dinner.It was take out and dissapointed! I knew navratan korma is one item of nine vegetables mixture! But we found some peas and barely two or three pieces of Walmart bought carrots with a lottt of soup and that was so spicy that my husband got a stomach ache! He could not sleep at night and I was so worried about the long-distance driving ahead! The egg curry was so so! But the price was comparatively high for 4-5 pieces of half eggs! We basically threw the navratan korma after eating some of it!

What a terrible first time experience!! Food was not fresh at all and everything was super super spicy even after mentioning that we don’t eat spicy food. There are a lot of better Indian restaurants in omaha. If you don’t serve good food, you will lose customers. Be careful with that. Hope you can do better.

This is excellent Indian food, so don’t rush excellence. Give them the time they estimate and you’ll be rewarded with a delicious dinner.They were out of our go-to Samosa Chat so they recommended the Aloo Tikki Chat. It’s damn good and is perfectly spicy.

Best Indian Food in town. The dishes are always very fresh. The variety is great and the staff are simply the best around. I ordered a mixed grill and it came with several different proteins. Everything was very flavorful and juicy. It was served with a variety of veggies that were perfectly cooked. The Naan was out of this world. I also enjoyed my Lassi. I will never go anywhere else.

Though located in Blackstone District your taste buds will be halfway across the world. Great service, fantastic food, and awesome cocktails.

We came here for dinner on a Saturday night and the food was some of the best Indian food Ive had in a while. They had a large menu with many options, reasonably priced for how large of portions you got. There was a group of 8 of us and the service was so great! I already want to go back and its only been a day. Would highly recommend for dinner.

Best Indian food in the town, I had a lamb curry it’s was To die for and my friend had a chicken Biryani he loved it. Good food clean and nice atmosphere also friendly staff. Sounds like there is some hatters Indian customers out there all they do complain about everything and they are very cheap I hate to say that but some Indians are !

My kids love the taste of the food. We really do not eat much spicy andhot. So,they prepare food according to your choice of spice level, when you order for the food. The special weekend buffet is wroth.

This was the worst Indian food I have had. Serving size was enormous, but it seemed like they seasoned only a small portion of rice and then cut the meal with unseasoned, plain basmati. Flavor did not permeate the chicken biryani nor the lamb biryani that we ordered. It was one of the least flavorful meals I have had. Meats were not fresh by any standard.I will say that the garlic naan was good. Will not order from here again.

If you want to decide on going to any restaurant, look at their 1-star reviews and decide!Since this was closer Indian restaurant to the hotel I was staying at and since there were decent reviews, I thought I would give it a try. Had a to-go from this place few weeks ago.Naan was hard, chicken curry tasted as if it was prepared a week ago! And here comes the best part - Biryani!! Please, I request you to not include items that you cannot make. By no means that should be called a Biryani!Only good thing is - the ambience and clean interior!Anyways, I’ll never come back! 🙏

Relax man relax is what the Indian with the earrings said when he overcharged us. Food was whatever, we ordered Naan got roti instead after we brought it home. We asked for a receipt he was on the phone and said machine broken maybe to save tax who knows I wont come again.

Went for dinner in a party of two, service was quick and pleasant. Felt no rush to get an order out of us until we were ready.Once the food arrived we were met with delicious sights and smells and was instantly brought back to my time in india. We ordered lamb chettinad, chicken korma, and some garlic naan, all delicious.Finished the meal with masala chai and a mango lassi which were as expected delicious. The entire staff were wonderful during our entire visit and will definitely be back in the very near future.
