I was recommended by a colleague. Staff always sweet & professional. Dr. Patel was quick and informative which I thought was good. Understanding my goal was Vbac he agreed to support me. As I approached my due date he turned the tables on me and tried to schedule a cesarean for no reason other than being overdue. I had to go to OU for my delivery. Last minute - at the time my water broke the morning of my induction. I am expecting again and was considering this OB. But based on previous results and research I will have to find another care provider.

Although Dr. Patel doesn’t see patients after 10 weeks, he was an awesome OB to see! The staff is really friendly as well. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is because I received a call stating that my Pap smear came back normal, when I was informed today by my new OBGYN that it was in fact not normal and had come back abnormal and possibly had gotten worse from a Pap smear I had the year prior..Was probably just an honest mistake, and I’m not upset with the woman who had called and told me! I’m sure she saw that I was clear of all STD’s and assumed it was normal.You guys are all so sweet and I enjoyed my time with you.

I have been to many gyno’s, and I felt such a sense of relief after my first visit with Dr. Patel. In explaining my situation and reason for my visit, his overall reaction and response confirmed I found the right DR. The staff is so welcoming, and the fact they remember specific details about me and my case; I feel at home! I know Dr. Patel wants the best for his patients and truly cares, and that proves true in his demeanor. I couldn’t be more ecstatic have finally found a team dedicated to helping women solve their problems!! Thank you all!!

I seen Dr. Patel in 2019 and was amazed how polite and kind he was and his staff! Returning for my appointment in 2020 and will continue seeing him every year!! Very clean and fast service too! He answered all my questions promptly and professionally!

Dr Patel did my hysterectomy, his bedside manner was compassionate and hes pleasantly direct and to the point. He answered every question without hesitation. I saw his interaction with other patients while I was there and he treats every patient with the same respect. Great dr!

We just met with the doctor twice but he was very compassionate and understanding. He made us feel relaxed by personal experiences and just the way he made us understand because we were a nervous wreak while having our first child. Fantastic doctor.

I am 31 weeks pregnant. I received a phone call yesterday from the nurse who said we got your results back and you have Preeclampsia and will need to be induced at 37 weeks. The other bad news is that Dr. Patel is no longer seeing OB patients or delivering babies. She offered NO recommendations. NO information about Preeclampsia. NO referral to a different doctor. NOTHING. Now I have six weeks to figure this all out on my own.

DO NOT GO HERE. For real, pretty sure they are screening my calls. I went in for pain over a month ago, an ultrasound was ordered to check on cysts....for almost a month later! The pain got so bad the week before my ultrasound was scheduled that I called and asked them to move it up and I talked to a nurse about what I can do in the meantime. She said shed have to see the scans before recommending anything besides ibuprofen. I go in for the ultrasound a couple days later - the tech was AMAZING and I wish SHE were the doctor - and was told that I should hear in the next couple days about follow up or results. I called 4 days later when I still hadnt heard anything, and they told me he hasnt reviewed the scans....that I have to understand - he has so many scans to review....um hi. Im in pain. Thats literally the only reason I even came to see yall. And THEN they asked me my name - not until then. They just knew he hadnt reviewed any scans all week long I guess?? So here we are another week later and still nothing...I have tried calling but no matter which line or extension I try, it goes to voicemail. Super duper fun. And oh - I waited for over 90min to see him, he was there for maybe 2min, and I was sick and bleeding the rest of the day from that exam. 👌 Great practice. 🙄

I saw Dr. Patel several times. He did a laprascopic cystectomy and partial hysterectomy on me to try and get rid of problems I was having. I was called yesterday morning and he told me he wouldnt be doing any more surgeries, even though my surgery was scheduled for next week to remove my ovaries. Now Im trying to find another OB/GYN that can hopefully do my surgery and soon due to the extreme pain Im in. He was a good doctor, but now Im stuck with searching for a new doctor who will be willing to do my surgery and soon. He put me in a bad position at the last minute.

Amazing!! I absolutely love Dr. Patel and the staff! Being my first appointment with this pregnancy I was scared, but they made me feel so comfortable. They were all so sweet and made me feel so welcome! If you’re in this area I would really suggest Dr. Patel!

Beat Doctor Ever.. when I had my kid 3 years ago.. I always was able call him if I needed.. what doctor do you know that forwards his office number to his cell phone for after hours care. He is always there for everyone.

If I could give less than one star I would. Terrible experience! My appointment was over with in less than 20 minutes. No bedside manner at all. The doctor asked a few basic questions then sent me for an ultrasound, and told me I would get answers within a few days. WEEKS went by with no phone call! I kept calling to find out what they found, and the receptionists kept giving me an attitude when I called. When the doctor finally called, he seemed so irritated to be on the phone with me and wanted to put me on antibiotics just to shut me up. All around HORRIBLE experience!

Well today has been stressful and upsetting...went in for my regular checkup and ultrasound and got told by the nurse AFTER they took my urine for a sample that I couldnt be seen all because I asked about my medical records a few weeks ago....got told to leave and gave me my money I paid for the co pay back....went up to the hospital to request a new OBGYN and filled out a consent form asking them to retrieve my records and they will get back to me in a few days...tried to call the previous doctor back multiple times about my blood work for the genders of the babies....would not answer and kept hanging up on me...will not be going back to this doctor again. Very frustrated and disappointed. At least Im going to be seeing a better doctor with nicer staff.

Dr Shaurin Patel is WONDERFUL! He was there from the beginning of my pregnancy all the way to delivery. I never felt like he was too busy for me and he made such a great effort in giving me his time and attention--which was SO appreciated since he delivered my first baby! He is very professional, educated, and his office staff are very friendly. I definitely recommend this doctor to any woman who needs OB care.

This place was unprofessional. I used my 1 hr lunch break to come to my appointment that was scheduled for 1:00. I arrived at 12:55. I waited a very long time, granted, I know doctor appointments usually take a while. After the nurse sat me in the room, she Mentioned the doctor has not been here. But should return in just a few minutes. I was sitting in the room for an hour. I knew it would have been even more time because eventually I heard him leave one patients room to go into the other patients room! I went to ask the receptionist how much longer because I used my lunch to come here. She was a little rude, saying I would have to wait. So I asked for a refund and left. Don’t go here if you want to wait forever to not be seen.

Dr. Patel did an amazing job delivering my daughter by cesarean. He is very friendly and caring. He also did a wonderful job on my incision! It looks like it isnt even there!

LOOK AT THE REVIEWS OF HIS OTHER OFFICE BEFORE GOING HERE!!! The bad reviews are on the other office location on Google! Most of the bad reviews are recent, this doctor is going down hill fast. If I could give 0 stars I definitely would! This has been the biggest headache and waste of time and money going to see Dr. Shaurin Patel and his staff. There were several procedures that were done that were not documented and other important procedures that were completely wrong and misinformation according to my wifes next doctor. We paid our copay like normal. We were then billed for the rest after adjustment, like normal. However, they ended up not even sending off the pap smear (we didnt know until the next doctor pulled records) so my wife had to get another one. When I asked about it they say well we didnt want to get the results back and see something that needed to be taken care of and have to send those records to the next doctor. So you performed a painful procedure on my wife and just decided you didnt want to send it off? They did not bill me for it, but it never should have been done or they should have called to atleast give us an option of what we wanted to do. I also spoke to the nurse who said she didnt see anything on their notes of what was done except the pap smear. So what am I paying for if nothing was done except the pap smear that wasnt sent off? Then she said well for the consultation with the doctor. I replied that there wasnt a consultation, my wife said the doctor was so rushed and was rushing her with everything and then as soon as he was done he walked out and called to his staff that he was going to get something for lunch. I guess Dr. Patels appetite is more important than my wife and her health concerns and questions? Please, save yourself the trouble. Dont go here! You will be way better off somewhere else! Also, I have spoken with Marissa (I believe that is correct) and both Sylvias and still havent got anywhere. Marissa was supposed to call me back on December 6th because she had left the office when I had just been talking to her a few minutes before. Never heard anything. Called today and she is out of the office again and is supposed to call me back according to a lady at the office that said she texted her my number and let her know to call me. Still havent heard anything. What incomprehensible incompetence is going on in this doctors office? Definitely not anything you want a part of or need in your life. Now they are saying I will be sent to collections next month for refusing to pay my bill for service that we did not even receive. They also are trying to tell me I was at the appointment that day (I definitely was not as I was in training at the FAA academy and couldnt take off of work), not sure what that has to do with anything but the nurse said yeah I remember you, you were at the appointment...no I wasnt, they are clearly getting people mixed up. Just one more example of the incompetence! I took a risk and decided to go here, dont make the same mistake I made. Youve been warned. Best of luck!Update: After 4 times of the office claiming Marissa would call me back, I still hadnt got a call. Finally I called again and was able to speak with Mr. Patel. He asked what the problem was and as I began to describe it I got cut off and he had the floor for about 2 minutes solid. When he was done I began explaining my concern again. He cut me off again after about 5 words. I respectfully asked for a chance to talk multiple times and he kept raising his voice to talk over me so I couldnt get a word in. This guy is a real class act. Apparently his phone communication is the same as his bedside manner and sensitivity to women. Very rushed, rude, and unconcerned. Not to mention he apparently cant read an ultrasound according to our next doctor. He was WAY off on his diagnosis!!!

He delivered my sister baby and was very kind and was patience. Answer all her questions and concerns.

I have been dealing with pain in my groin/abdomen for a year on August 5th. I have seen 4 different OBGYN’s and Dr. Patel is my 5th. He officially found a cause for my pain (huge ovarian cyst and endometriosis) and he truly shows care and concern for my health. He is there to help me with my pain and answer any questions. His office staff is also there to help with any questions or concerns you might have! Many of my OBGYN’s in the past, their office staff could care less about you. Dr. Patel is such an awesome doctor and I am glad to have him as mine!!

We had a TERRIBLE experience at OU and decided to change doctors 40 weeks into the pregnancy. Dr. Patel welcomed us with open arms and made us feel very comfortable. It is obvious h cares alot about his patients and wants to do his best. I highly reccomend any woman to go here. And please stay away from OU

My wife was misdiagnosed of an ovarian cyst and went for A second ultrasound and found out she was actually pregnant .Worst clinic ever

I had a very bad experience with doctor Patel, I went with him because my child was already 4 years old and pregnant and wanted to have a normal delivery because the other had undergone an emergency cesarean and had already had a normal previous delivery so I wanted to try to have a delivery normal and the first one told me that if it could and when the delivery approached he told me that it had to be a cesarean section that he could not risk he made me a horrible cut the scar left me ugly nothing professional and he did not even see me as I was nothing
