A very neat and clean kitchen. They are continuously endeavoring to provide hygenic meals to INDIAN RAILWAY PASSENGERS.

This unit pertains to Railways(IRCTC). This unit was capable of making 25,000 meals a day. A NGC team and many other channels/media have shown inside coverage. This unit was meant for non Railway catering units like meals preparation for Samsung, Lava, Mcgraw Hill, Supertec, Jaipuriya, EXL, Amriprise etc but later on they started supply Railways too.This unit was constructed in 2010-2011 and it might be closing in May 2019. Its all operations are now moving to renovated New Delhi Base Kitchen.

We take you through a tour of this state-of-the-art hygienic kitchen:The German dices and shreds vegetables, the Finn boils rice and dal while the Italian kneads dough. Theres also someone from France to sauté sabzi.The kitchen is verily a Willy Wonkas Factory. Freshly unloaded vegetables are straightaway dipped in Italian machines that clean them to a shine.

IRCTC Central kitchen is canteen of IRCTC ( indian railways), the foods for rajdhani , shtabdi and all train which gives pacakaged foods are prepared here. Environment is clean(Swacth bharat initiative).
