We were a party of 13 and sat on two tables, each table had about 6 dishes the quantity of food was very little for £25/ head set menu because of our party size. Ordering separately we would have got much more food. The staff were not that friendly service okay but food very disappointing. Totally not worth it at all. Dont go!

My sundubu jiggae and kimchi jjeon were both quite lovely and well priced. Good portions generally tooThe food comes out at weird times and our drinks arrived after our food arrived. Also ventilation is poor which isnt great if youre next to someone bbqing.Also all (I think all) of the appetisers are deep fried or some sort of batter which isnt ideal.

The food was amazing. Nice and fresh. The staff were pleasant and friendly and helpful. Not overly attentive but attentive enough. The venue was pleasant, clean and welcoming. With an authentic feel.The prices were very reasonable, with decent portion sizes.The karaoke rooms we didnt use, but cost from £45 for a small room. This is your chance to belt out all those K-pop songs from this year you and some classics.The only down side I can think of, no desserts.

The food was good, however I personally felt a little uncomfortable ordering anything too adventurous because the table was not clean on arrival, and the cooker was dirty - we had to clean it ourselves with hand sanitiser using the tissues at the bar (which were yellow after use). I also found out online that the place has a 3 star scores on the doors rating which isnt that great.Service was slow, however considering the current situation and 10pm curfew, I think thats understandable.Also worth spacing the tables out a bit more, as me squeezing past the table to our left seemed to offend the bloke sitting at the table, even though he could have just used his brain and moved his food so it wasnt so close to the edge of the table (plus Im not 50 stone) - either way, definitely worth spacing out the table more for this man to avoid the rate of evil stares.Good selection of beers and cocktails and the staff were friendly.Maybe we just came on a really really busy night? Im sure everything is fine usually.

Great fun for karaoke and sometimes the cocktails are very good, I say sometimes because I’ve been serval times and I’d say I’ve had a few off days.But a solid 4 because I’ve had more good days than bad.Food is tasty.Staff are helpful.

Went there last week everything’s changed…the portion of the food now is smaller we have to order sides as well ?? portion is very small for the price and karaoke’s price gone up too it used to be £30 per hr…

This is genuinely the worst bar I have ever had the displeasure of going to. Unbelievably rude staff, expensive drinks, you are not welcome.Staff are in rush to kick customer out even before the closing time!! Draft beer stops at 23:45pm as they need to get clear their bottle drinks. Drinks served in a plastic cup….EtcPlease do yourself a favour and take your money elsewhere. You’ll save yourself an evening of abject disappointment in unhealthy environment.

Great atmosphere and food was amazing however, service was a bit slow and we got our BBQ meat by the time we all finished our non-BBQ meals. Had to wait 10mins for bill and eventually had to pay at the bar. Also had a lot of sold out options so we couldnt get our favourites.

Had food there and it was not bad but table service is slow even prepandemic. Had karaoke session in the basement rooms. It has no windows or air con so it got pretty warm down there and stuffy. I ended up opening the door but next door karaoke was loud. Also they only had 1 songs catalogue, if they had online version then it makes ppl easier to lookup songs. There were 10 of us.

Reserve ahead of time because this place is in high demand and for good reason! We during the EO2HO government scheme but I can tell you that easy one of us would have been just as happy to pay full price on a normal day! The humongous pile of Korean food we consumed was delicious and along with with fast and friendly service and yummy cocktails... What more could you wish for?COVID review: The tables in the restaurant were appropriately socially distanced apart with the staff cleaning them before and after customers. They had hand sanitisers available for all as they come in and requested details to enable track and trace of required. All round doing all the right things to follow the gove guidance.

Very well organised and accessible restaurant. They serve large portions and for inexpensive prices. We liked the food a lot and the staff members were very attentive and chatty. I recommend this place.

Over priced for meat that literally didnt taste of anything couldve easily went tescos and cooked better meat myself than blow over £50. The bbq wasnt working so moved our table somewhere else. Nothing was seasoned or even marinated properly. Absolute embarrassment as a korean myself i heard it was one of the worst in new malden but man that made every other restaurants look like a 5* michelin star restaurant.

Oh well,the service was the reason I gave more stars, good service from the waitresses ,the deep-fried calamari was plain, apart from that others were average.The facility in the toilet is poor,the door is broken and the hand dryer is rusty ( even its Dayson) Generally, the toilet facilities are poor.The food price is average compared to other korean restaurants on high street in New Malden.To conclude, one visit is enough.

Great pancake and kimchi, lovely atmosphere

Food was okay but massive portions and waiters kind of rude. Didnt feel welcome - asked for a table for 2, was told we needed a booking but the restaurant was dead. Managed to find us a BBQ table even though they didnt have any spare but no one came to occupy the one next to us the entire time we were there. Sent a dish back because it was really badly cooked and they acted like Id physically assaulted them and shouted it to all the waiters in the restaurant, which was highly embarrassing.

Absolute terrible experienceMy sister really wanted to try Korean BBQ for the first time and we thought this place will be a good option.We were seated on a table where we were not even given the menu. However other customers were all given menus soon as they were seated. After waiting about 20 mins we had to ask for the menu and the Korean lady staff was just horrible about it she gave us the menus which were used on another table without even sanitising it.The Korean BBQ meats finally came and the same female Korean staff just left the meats and went. No instructions on how to cook it. So we used our initiative and tried to cook the meats. Having been to Korean BBQs before I know restaurants at least offer some sauces. At this point, we felt incredibly uncomfortable being there and interacting with the rude female Korean waiting staff. So we asked the only non-Korean waiting staff for the sauces. I have to say she was very kind.The rude Korean lady staff came back to cut up the meat and put the new meat then took all the utensils away. We assumed she would come back and to help us cook the meat since we had no utensils. We again patiently waited however if we waited any longer the meat was going to burn. We had to call on the non-Korean staff for the utensils to cook the meat ourselves.We weren’t sure the meat was cooked and all the Korean staff was avoiding our table. So we had to call on one of them and ask if the meat was cooked. The staff were being so kind and helpful to other customers we literally had no idea what we have done to deserve such a service. I genuinely hope it was not racial has we were the only Brown customers. Really a terrible way to treat customers.The staff who calculated the eat out help out discount didn’t even apply the discount properly. But at this point, we just wanted to pay and leave as quickly as possible.Will not recommend this place especially if you are brown.

As mentioned in the review below - this is more of a intro to Korean food and not necessarily authentic Korean food. People usually come for the vibe and karaoke rather than just the quality of the food. With that being said - the food is not bad it’s just a bit commercial! However, Korean bbq is always fun though quite pricey.I do have to say the team are amazing - the experience and the amazing staff is what makes this place a gem. They go above and beyond for you. I always gets the best service and we have the best nights here.Also if your into hot sauce and you like some heat - ask the lovely waiter for the hot sauce which they keep in the kitchen - be aware it’s super hot but it’s delicious!Definitely worth a visit!

Expensive karaoke with foreign lyrics, not ideal but good service though nit tried the food but looked good

Very disappointed. This place has gone down hill. Ive been to Han numerous times and it was alright 6 years ago but its terrible now. Im pretty sure theyve changed chefs, and if so, please re-train them. Han is usually the first introduction someone has to Korean food and its an absolute travesty its with this eatery. I usually try to stay clear of this place but it was one of the places that was open during the pandemic and I was too lazy to walk an extra 100m to get some proper food. I regret it every time I come here. You wont see many Koreans eating here, itll mostly be foreigners who think that this is whats it supposed to taste like/ people who go there for the karaoke (in which case, the taste doesnt really matter since its for the vibes)/ Koreans who go there talk because they know other Koreans wouldnt go there. The food is badly seasoned, and the overall quality is so sad that I cant even finish it, and Im the kind of person who eats second portions of school dinners that everyone turns their noses up at.On a positive note, the staff there are usually pretty friendly. I especially miss this one lady a few years back who wore a headscarf everytime I saw her. She was nice, please bring her back.

Food was really good and decent atmosphere.I came here having been introduced into the world of Korean food by an amazing Korean girl.The experience was cool, I really liked cooking our own food in the center of the table.The staff messed up the bill quite a lot. Took them at least 30 minutes to sort the bill, which on a day of 33°+ was not great. And eventually charged us for £30 worth of drinks we didnt have. Eventually everything was sorted so all in all not bad.Recommend the tempura prawns, and the grilled aubergine starters.Also they didnt have any Korean beer on tap....

Nice interior but average food

Delicious food and they managed to seat us immediately without a reservation on an incredibly busy bank holiday Monday. The beef bulgogi was incredible and I had the sweet chilli fried chicken for starter which was pretty good as well.Our BBQ had a technical fault which the helpful staff fixed for us very quickly and moved us to a new table. My one gripe was with my Mocktail, it was a very bland tasting and watery juice.All in all I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The Service has gone completely downhill. RUDE AND IGNORANT. The lady in the restaurant kept ignoring eye contact and avoiding us. Waited for table for half an hour even tho people left early and had to keep calling her to ask for table and she finally got it ready. Taking order was another thing. Kept waiting when called the lady looked at us and walked off.This used to be a very good place with excellent service and nice ambiance NOT ANYMORE. Maybe because they are short staff. They need to bring old staff back. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS.

Ive been coming hear for years. It has good food, but service is usually bad. Hard to get their attention when you want something and it takes a while for them to bring it to you. Also portions have shrunk recently, but still tastes good.

As described by a previous review, It seems that the staff have selective hearing and only pick which tables to serve properly. I felt very neglected as a customer, unfortunately this time was our turn. We have to ask almost everything we ordered, including going to the counter to ask for the steamed rice before too late. They even forgot about our starter, and deleted it from our bill at the end. The food was fine, but it just wouldnt be worth the hassle.

Only allowed unbottled beer downstairs which made it very expensive to drink. The venue was nice and the karaoke facilities were fine. It got very hot though, no aircon and poor ventilation.

We arrived at this spot for lunch. my friend recommended this place. Well, it was a winning. The staff were very polite and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We loved this restaurant a lot and we shall definitely come back again. We recommend this place to all.

Ive never had Korean BBQ food before so didnt know what to expect, but I LOVED it. We had dumplings and tempurah for starters, which were excellent, then a variety platter of different marinated meats with rice for the main. Being able to cook the meat to exactly how you like it on your own table was really fun and a very social way to share dinner. One small criticism would be that some of the waitresses were quite pushy - we were happy cooking the meat ourselves and they kept coming over and grabbing the tongs to move things around. Other than that, it was a delicious meal and a fun evening.

Excellent food and delicious cocktails, very friendly and great service felt very welcome. Would definitely come back! 🙂

I very much loved their food and customer service, excellent location right next to my home. The employees are always very welcoming. Would recommend to others.

I come here occasionally with friends and family. It’s a great place for group gatherings, there’s food, drinks (bar) and entertainment (karaoke). I’d say the food is pretty good, a little on the pricier side compared to the other restaurants in New Malden, but the traditional looking layout and chill vibe make for a great eating experience.The karaoke rooms are very nice, they have large rooms for big groups, and smaller ones for a group of 3-4. If you split the price, it’s affordable. The only thing is the karaoke machines are a bit outdated so you won’t be able to find the latest songs to sing. Think early 2000s I would say, but throwback songs are still fun to sing!

Sare and Nelly were very great, great hostess and bartenders very kind and helpful made us very happy and me and my team are definitely going back again, definitely great for weekends with a couple of mates.

Went and enjoyed the full Korean Barbecue experience. Staff were friendly and helpful suggesting drink and meal choices. Food was really tasty with some being cooked at the table. The waiter new exactly when the meat needed to be tended to at the table to ensure it didnt over cook a burn. We had plenty of food and all felt like we had eaten enough at the end of the night. the surroundings were also beautifully decorated.

Had Seafood Pancake and Takoyaki for starters then LA Kalbi and Bulgogi Bbq for main with some steamed rice on the side. It was really nice. Waited abit to be served but the food quality was worth the wait. Will be back here again for sure!

MANAGER WAS RUDE AND OFFENSIVE!!!!!It was my 22nd birthday and my husband had organised a surprise dinner with 11 other friends, we ordered the party set which included starters, bbq meat main which came with side of fried rice. we asked the manager multiple times about the set in which she stated that the starters and fried rice were LIMITED but the bbq meat was UNLIMITED, so we could order how much we wanted. she CLEARLY STATED THIS. when we finished the first round and ordered second round of meat she was very reluctant to give us shaking her head but she got it for us anyway. The issue came when we ordered one last portion as some of my friends were still hungry and mind you we finished all the previous food, she came and asked why we wanted another portion, i said some of us would like another, SHE THEN SAID AND I QUOTE I THINK YOUVE HAD ENOUGH!! in front of everyone. This is appalling, how can she say to a customer that they have had enough to eat??!. she then said that the meat was not meant for us to EAT ALL NIGHT and OUR LOCAL CUSTOMERS NEVER ORDERED EXTRA PORTIONS how is she comparing us to her oriental asian customers, we are all different? i felt so embarrassed like she was discriminating us (my group was brown asian), how could staff talk to customers in such a offensive manner. she then tried to blame her english but I said we asked you if it was unlimited or not and you said the meat was unlimited but the starters and so on were limited so you knew exactly what you were saying. she kept on arguing and i couldnt be bothered to deal with it and we all left. some of my friends were still left hungry after agreeing to pay for what she stated. I have VIDEO PROOF of all the things she said to us and i DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

I liked the setting of the restaurant. Food was good. Karaoke was amazing. Although, we arrived early, we were welcomed. However, it was kinda cold in the place where we were seated. I also think the staff was lacking with service skills. The person who served us was unfriendly. Overall, the experience was good. Han can get better if they train their staffs properly.

If you want Korean dishes in friendly, clean and comfortable surroundings you couldnt do better than the HAN Resturant. Not to miss GRILLED PORK BELLY. ufff, one of the delicious in the menu. If you are passionate about singing, karaoke rooms are available which is abit expensive but definately have worth the money value. No hesitation in recommending this place. Never tired of be coming back again and again.🥢

This was just an amazingly hilarious evening. you hire a room for 1 hour and you get set up in a nice area with a professional Karaoke set up. I must say I sang my heart out to Abbas Dancing Queen and I sounded fantastic!!!😉..Give it a go! It was my first time and I will definately go again. They have food and bar downstairs but my party only Karaoked but did drink quite a bit so maybe thats why I sounded so good😏

Todays Han is never the same as a year ago! Disappointing evening out for my sons birthday. Not Korean waitresses, who dont understand the menu, nor Korean tea! We ordered Korean tea (Korean barley tea goes well with Korean BBQ) but received Chinese green tea instead. Ordered hand sliced lamb from menu, however, after long waiting it was machine sliced, quite thick lamb brought to table. Service around BBQ table is not attentive as it used be - they left us to do by ourselves, which I dont mind. In the end we paid £120 for the bill for two adults and two children, compare to a £80 BBQ meal in the similar restaurant in New Malden. Back home I noticed they had charged us twice of sliced lamb dish!

Very nice. Was a chilled vibe when we went on a Monday evening when we just walked in for some food. Pleasent service and bill came to £40 for 2 mains, 1 side, 2 beers and a soft drink. Will certainly be back here again to try out other items on the menu.

Hilarious karaoke option for those who cant face trudging into London town. We got to enjoy a few hours in a room that had seemingly been decorated by a 13-year old girl with a fondness for pink. But, best of all, are the videos that accompany the songs. Who needs to watch the original stars in their carefully choreographed music videos when you can have a random selection of Korean stars jigging around instead?! Just brilliant.

The food is really nice. We had a barbecue with beef and chicken, some kimchi pancakes (highly recommend those!) and some chili chicken.The food was amazing, but the service is really laid back. So come with some patience and youll be fine!

This is my all time favourite restaurant. We ordered korean bbq with chicken, pork and beef, the lady came to help us use the burner and cook it for us. It was so well seasoned and yummy! We also ordered Kastu curry noodles with was absolutely divine! The chicken in the curry was delicious! We also got kimchi pancakes and kimchi stew which were both, again, so tasty. Be warned, the stew comes out very hot in temperature, while I enjoy my food very hot, I know some like it to cool a bit like my friends. My favourite was probably the kimchi pancakes!

We have been there twice now and the party BBQ is such a rip off. You pay £20 pp but the meat that comes is only just enough for two people. We asked for chicken dumplings and got vegetable ones. Definitely not value for money. The Ribs for £11.50 came with 5 thin stips is meat with a sliced mushroom. BBQ options are such a rip off.

Surprisingly (for me) vibrant restaurant with karaoke which our group loved. Food very nice.

The place appeared quite small at first glance. step in to the restaurant and you are greeted with elevated stages where dining tables are situated under what appeared to be half-huts. it was appealing to the eye. of course, serving BBQ meals mean you have a device embedded in the table: you are given fresh well made ingredients to cook them yourself. the food is okay so is the price. definitely worth a visit with friends or family: while away the time whilst waiting for your BBQ to cook! :)

Excellent BBQ. Good value for money on the party special. Has kareoke below which is equally fun. The only downside is a slower service and not quite enough lettuce etc for the meals.

I really enjoyed Han, we went as a group of 8 and for that it was perfect. Its a bit different to any of the other restaurants Ive visited in the area. The BBQ was particularly good and the staff were attentive. I will return.

I went to this restaurant on Saturday 30th of September and I booked it for 1 pm. we went there exactly at 1 and they had our table ready because we had 10 people. These are the things I experienced:Food -The menu listed many things but it had a strip of white paper over some showing that the food wasnt available such as, Black bean noodles. The portions were okay and the food was nice.The waiter -I looked at some reviews before and they talked about how the women with the glasses waited them was rude. She did look like the manager as well. She was quite annoyed when my friends wanted more food after 15-20 minutes of being served because the food was nice. My other friend got her beverage late and had to take another drink. She was nice though and not as rude as I read.The karaoke -We had 10 people and two wanted to leave so we payed for the £35 room. The remote and control were in Korean but if you ask, you will be told how to use it. The room had a small fan which was good because it got hot quite quickly though we could only leave it on the floor because the cable was short. However, the room only had two mics for us to use.WARNING!! THE BOOK WITH ALL THE SONGS INSIDE WILL BE IN KOREAN CHARACTERS AND WONT HAVE ANY NEW SONGS. So you better like the old songs from about 5- 6 years ago. *THE ENGLISH POP SONGS WILL BE AT THE BACK OF THE BOOKLET!!*Overall, it was fun and I would like to come back for the food and the karaoke but some of my friends wont.

I came for lunch and was forced to pay for my meal half way through whilst I as eating. Rude... just rude...

Great food ,but a bit miss communication with staff and pushed reservations back to back ,we had reservations for 7pm 10 people but on arrival they said they need table free by 9 and that was a bit surprised, so we had cake for our anniversary but never had chance to serve it ,as a big group of 20 people arrived at 9pm .they should explain that when I reserved the table for us.Also you dont feel you can ask for anything you like ,was like more serving you quickly with out giving you a more respect .

Restaurant was really cold (staff were wearing their coats), staff could not help with with questions on the menu and were chewing gum whilst serving, they had no Prosecco or champagne (they had 6 on the menu but told us they didn’t have a delivery until the following day), Only one microphone was working in the two rooms we were offered. Food was ok but service was awful. Was asked to leave when we asked for extra time on the karaoke to make up for the fact that we had moved rooms because one microphone didn’t work in the first room to a larger room where again only one microphone was working. Would not recommend!

It is traditionally decoration in Korean style. Food is good also have a karaoke as well. Good for the family gathering.
