Situated on the 24th floor of Antriksh Bhavan, this is a one of a kind experience which showcases all the famous landmarks of New and Old Delhi all while enjoying food. The experience has somehow dimmed as new construction all around town has more or less obstructed the view of landmarks. Although there is a huge queue and you might not even complete one full revolution and see all the sights (it takes 90 mins) before you are finished with your food.We ordered* Butter Naan* Mutton Rahra - Gravy is full of Mutton keema and the pieces of mutton are cooked nicely.* Chicken Lababdar - Boneless chicken in a tomato based gravy. Good.As I said, food is on the ordinary side but it is all about the experience and you pay through your nose for that.
So we went to Parikrama on a Sunday afternoon! Looking at the rush we assumed its a nice place, we wanted to try this place as there was lot of hype about it! I will give a review based on what I experienced. Here is what I have to say::1. Rest room- too small and not lighted, one may feel claustrophobic and since the restaurant is revolving you might feel a bit dizzy.2. Menu- Its small, most items are available in other nice restaurants and cafes but their items are overly priced. For eg, Dragon Rolls are priced at Rs 550 exclusive of tax and there were only 5 rolls which were like a normal spring roll. It was not even dragon roll.3. Ambience- Its okay.. I wont say that it was very beautiful, probably they are only maintaining the old infrastructure.4. Food- There is no.wow factor about food.. The items are okay..the quantity is too less especially when you are paying a whooping price of 600-800rs for a dish. Even the way of presenting was not too good.5.Hospitality- Pathetic!! The servers are not adaptable to customer requests, even the onions they served werent fresh and upon asking to change them, they got furious. I wont recommend anyone to go to this place unless u are fan of revolving while eating!!We were 4 people and all of us had the same thing to say!!Lastly we paid 4k for just having 5 dishes..!! Its too much for us.. I would rather opt for a buffet at a 4* restaurant instead of going to this place!!The photos might lure you but Please dont go and waste your money!!
Instant Regret 😅! Let me explain you, Here the thing is the restaurent is located at the center of New Delhi and the restaurent, kind of keeps revolving slowly so that you can have a view of entire Delhi.Pros: food was really delicious 😋 (I gave a 1 star for that reason)Cons: If you just see how clean were those plates and glasses Youll run awayPrices were 3x minimum (may be because of all those revolving thing but hey you dont even maintain decent cleanliness of utensils)No parking, Are you kidding me! the restaurent is not completely filled, the kind of place this restaurent is located if you dont provide enough parking for vehicles we need to take some risk to park outside.Highly not recommended!
Nice place for visiting once. The restaurant is located in the aakash bhawan building. It is on the 24th floor. Covid protocols are being followed. Food is a bit expensive but good. From the restaurant you can get a birds eye view of nearby places like gurudwara shri bangla sahib, rashtrapati bhawan, CP, Statesman etc.
Had an amazing time in the revolving restaurant. Food is good. The view is really worth it!! One should visit this restaurant and experience the breathtaking ambience along with the food served!
Good is good. Needs upgrade in interior. Covid norms are followed.
The location is the best what any restaurant can offer. A panoramic view of Delhi from 24th view is just phenomenal. But the restaurant service is too slow. They need to work upon this. The quality of food was good but quantity is again something to be taken care of. The pricing is steep considering the portion size. Overall I would recommend this place.
It used to be the most fancy restaurant of delhi at one time. Before in 1990s only to enter inside the restaurant the charges were 200rs per person. Now they dont charge for visiting but only food. The food they serve is of good quality and above average in taste. The quantity of food definitely need improvisation, as they serve very little food per plate. Its on an expensive side per still one visit worth it, as its the one of the most iconic eating places in delhi. The only problem I found was revolving speed. It took almost one hour to finish one circle, thats so slow!
The only revolving restaurant in Delhi and moreover it’s on the top of a high rise. The view of the city is fantastic from here. U get a bird eye view of the city. The food is also equally amazing. The better the view the better the food. This place doesn’t disappoint. The menu is chosen perfectly. Have a good variety. The food is perfect. Can go there sit relax and enjoy the view with excellent view. Moreover staff is also good and helpful. I had fallen in love with this place.
Great ambience and all praises for the great taste and timely service (considering the number of diners). One star less only due to the little-over-the-top prices. Overall a good experience to feel on the top of the city if you are going with family/friends.
Delicious food that make you order more and more , very hygienic place to go. Skilled, soft and polite speaking staff. On the 24 floor you will love the scene and view was pretty good.... Everything which you want will be there..... I bet you will love the view and food as well. It worth visiting there .....
Couldnt experience the revolving sitting. There was heavy waiting. Food was delicious. In the lounge area lightening was very low. It was very dark, had to use flashlight to read the menu. Washroom area was unhygienic. Visit early to get a table in revolving area. Otherwise, it will be a little disappointing.
Its definitely was a milestone in Delhis timeline. I personally found it good but not maintained so well. The management should take a look into it and upgrade its interior according to the time and need..
The Restaurant is an Interesting concept... And here you can do the parikrama of Delhi, just by sitting idle having lunch / dinner.. the food is good and yummy. Its a must try on a special day , it becomes so special on the 1st time
- 3rd CLASS SERVICE & FOOD -After reading the reviews on Google I was not sure for my visit to Parikrama but as its the Only Revolving Restaurant in Delhi, thought to visit atleast once and literally I wasted my money! The moment I entered felt good as it was revolving, but a waiter came and offered us a table for 2. The sofas were stinky, old. The place was stinky. Imagine you are somewhere to have food and there is a strong smell like you are sitting in a mens public toilet!! I have experienced it. The menu is very expensive, they were offering garlic noodles for Rs. 545/-. We asked a waiter will it be a good quantity for 2? He said yes ofcousre. Within like 10 mins he served the noodles which wasnt enough for even 1 person.. And actually he didnt served it, he just kept the bowl on our table and literally ran away! Obviously isilye ke kahi hum usse bole na de ye kya hai??Still for the sake of the view we started eating it. And the noodles............ They costed Rs. 545/- and seriously main wo noodles Rs. 10/- mein bhi naa khaau, the veggies werent fresh, werent cooked well, the quantity was too less. Dont go on my photography skills the chowmein was just yuckk main jaanwar ko bhi wo khana naa daalu. And the most surprising part was THE GARLIC NOODLES were not having GARLIC at all! In my whole plate of noodles I felt garlic for once only..Literally for once only!! We paid for noodles & for water Rs. 795/- and imagine what, one of their staff asked for a tip😂😂 I mean they were literally having guts that they asked for a tip for their 3rd class service. Although we gave him Rs. 50/- but honestly they dont deserve a 5 rupee! The most annoying moment~There was a glass on every table which was having an artificial diya in it. A waiter came to our table, he took that glass & tried to switch on that Light, the light was not working toh literally usne wo light vapis glass mein patki and table pe wo glass patak ke chala gaya! It was seriously disgusting. I must say Highway ke dhaba isse zyada sophisticated hote hai!!The VIEW from the top was kind of okayish! As Delhi is a busy city now and full of buildings, so its impossible to have a view of IG Stadium, Red Fort, Delhi Gate, N.D. Railway Station from there! If you want to see the view at the cost of 1000-2000 and so on rs. With a 3rd class food and a no class, rude staff then you can surly visit there. Not recommended from my side. 🙏🙏They dont even deserve 1 star. Want to give them a rating in minus.
Naam bade aur darshan chote...is the one liner for this restaurant. Very very less variety of food. Very less space. Very congested. And very high bill. We gave 10000 rupees for two people. I dont think it is worth the name. A better ambience and food can be there in any other decent restaurant and at a much cheaper price !
Paneer tikka of this place is one among the best place i have ever had. The view from this place is amazing
Situated on 24th floor, its a revolving restaurant with boards of various locations, you sit at a different place and end up post meal at a different one, offering one of the best night view of Delhi. Definately a must go place which is closer to Rajiv chowk metro station
Food taste - goodFood portion - normalServer - cooperativeAmbience - nice, view is any day pretty cool
Really an amazing to spend time with your family. Ambience is excellent and food was very sumptuous. Really will visit again definately. And truly recommend everyone should go in here. In terms of bill- more or less it cost you somewhere around 1200per person.
Good place to see Delhi. Recommend visit before Sunset.
Awesome experience at parikarma! Love being there ❤️
From 24th floor and in centre of Delhi you can see round oclock view of Delhi while eating delicious food. Your table slowly revolves. Worth going.
It was night time so outside view wasnt clear. Service was good and ambience was fine.
Food was not that great and because of the revolving nature of the restaurant, head was spinning. Please note that sometimes, you may have to wait for the lift as well, which takes a long time.
Went to this place for a birthday gathering. Boy this place offers all that it promises. Our family is a vegetarian one, hence this is very particular about those dishes.Starters were good, ordered a variety of stuff and they all tasted good. Mushroom in starters wasnt that good, however in main course was class apart.Staff is decent enough with good hospitality. The only off thing was the wait time with no updates whatsoever. The ambience is good, gives a wonderful view, ample parking space, entry is bit difficult to accommodate more than 8 people at once.
Great place to visit . Food quality nice but less quantity of starters snacks. Price is on higher side. But one time definitely every one should visit. Avoid peak hours though.
Poor service, it revolves except that no fun, food prices too high... Food tasted simply normal dhaba style..
Good ambience, good food and service. I just felt that the food was a bit overpriced..Rest all was good. If one does not have budget issue, they can surely have a wonderful evening there.I would advice to visit the place 15-20 minutes before sunset so you can enjoy the view to the fullest.
We went there for lunch in a group of 11 people. The restaurant opens at 12.30 PM. Free parking is available in the Antriksh Bhawan complex. Parikrama has its own private well maintained lift. This was a wonderful experience for many of us. The seating area revolves and completes one revolution in 1hr 30minutes. That keeps guests engaged. The food and service were good but the location is the main attraction. Food is reasonably priced. Go try it for yourself. Thank you.
Excellent place to must visit and you can chill over there to release your working day stress. This restaurant is having bar also
Visit here for great view, food is average. They dont take reservations, you might need to wait for upto 1 hour. But one of a kind experience, perfect for families wont recommend for group of friends.
1. Recently, I visited here and received a warm & healthy welcome.2. Ambience was very great and hygiene.3. Here, you got an amazing 360° view of cannaught place which is the USP of this place. One thing which I would like to address here for all the potential visitors, please order your craving list in advance as it takes 25 to 30 mins to serve on the table.
The restaurant is at 24th floor. The staff is very generous and helping. The restaurant revolves over a platform, the rpm is quite low, doesnt make the head spin. The view from the top is quite good, you can literally look at various buildings from top. Theres not much of city lights to see, I didnt find the lights from the top too mesmerizing.Food and plating is quite good but yes food is overpriced. You can try variety of food at that place, some of which you might not like. Normal haka noodles will cost you around ₹550 or so. In short its good for one time visit.
Food is great. Ambience is amazing. Situated at 24th floor of the building. Gives amazing view of the surrounding places. Must on list fine dining restaurant.
I really enjoyed the experience of the revolving restaurant! The staff is really humble !Thanks for the great food suggestions and taking out feedback
Prices are excessively high, however it is a must one time experience. Food quality is just awesome.. plus u get an average view of outside revolving around you.
Overall good experience. Tasty food but expensive. Nevertheless, its good for taking experience of a magnificent view from the top. One can see famous places of Delhi while enjoying the food and having good time with friends and family.
The food was good. The non veg dishes are better than veg. The view was fantastic
View is amazing ❤️But food and Qty as per rates are not good. And if youre going at peak hours do the prior booking.
Beautiful restaurant to spend quality time with family, also the food was very tasty loved it.But the staff I noticed was not good, the waiter serving us was I dont know why but seemed to me like he was nervous and wasnt even serving plates smoothly.
Awesome Place.. People Must Visit..Great food Taste...Overall Good experience
Great Ambiance , Good food. You can reach easily from Rajiv Chowk Metro Station.PS- one can see complete view of Delhi from this Resturant. Must Visit for everyone.Suggestions : Please increase your variety of food Serve.🙂
The view is amazing! Its more of a family dinner kind of place. The staff is polite but the management is not very good. Food okayish. Do not order anything apart from North Indian.
Food is good, but the quantity is lesser compared to other equivalent places. For example, generally Naan has 3 pieces in most restaurants, this place has just 2 pieces. Even size of missi roti is quite small. Even the Staff,be it receptionist, waiter or a roaming manager are not warm. It seems they are in some sort of pressure or additional stress.May be the staff are paid less or something like that.
Good place who wants to have a different experience gazing the whole delhi while having dinner.Food is also good in taste.Per person it will cost around Rs.800/-So keep your pocket full😃
Great view from 24th floor. Its one of a kind. Food is delicious but a bit overpriced. However you wont regret paying extra because of the lovely view
The place has a good and fine ambience but the vegetarian menu is really horrible specially a dish called paneer tikka it is not the kind of place which would have that kind of hupe
Good place for family. The food was great. Their menu is quite good, everything is clearly mentioned. The view from restaurant is amazing. Have the meal and enjoy the meal in peace. But i am really not satisfied with the washroom. They were quite dirty. Otherwise it is quite a good option to consider.
As always taste was amazing and excellent, portion Size has been reduced & prices increased ...
According to quality and quantity of food is not good and prices are so high. Ive ordered chilly chicken which was worthless in taste and in veg paneer item was also not good . Although much more better is Sandoz and Sardar ji restaurant. I thought Id waste of money and time. Worthless place.
Manager should not stare the customers most of the people goes their to make memories to click picturesOver all it was good. Food, view and waiters were good.ThanksAdv. Nayaab Khan
Ultimate beautiful Revolving Restaurant in heart of New Delhi. Enjoy the multi-cuisine at twenty fourth 24th floor. While dining you will look around the amazing views of New Delhi in 360 degree. The hospitality is good. The serving time is moderate. The quality of food is good. Its good to spend time here. The restaurant is moderate on pocket.
Exorbitant prices, average food, poor service. Chipped plates. Crooked forks. Just not worth the food. Enjoy d view with a fresh lime or pepsi. Avoid food.
Its a good experience. If u wants to try something different, this place js for u. However i am not amazed by food.
Amazing place very delicious food i just loved it also gud service ❤️❤️
Loved the service, ambience, view and most importantly food.. amazing experience
Food was very authentic. I tried Chinese and Indian veg and both were amazingly prepared with authentic flavor.
Awesome place nice food but little costly, Memorable place for Birthday, Anniversary one issue I found Not that much clean or ctcky smell from washroom...Rest all well
I was expecting better in terms of food..!It still has old world charm👍🏼
The view is heavenly but one first needs to clear the waiting list! Haha
Loved it , maintained discipline and serve the food with full of safety precautions and the food is also very delicious.
Experience with food at parikarma was not good..taste was very average...just visit for one time experience of revolving restaurant...odrwse not good for food lovers..nd staff also was kaan ke kache ...
This is the only restaurant in Delhi with a revolving seating. Your seats will move slowly in a round circle so that you can get the whole view of Connaught Place. The ambience and the view are excellent. Food is okay. Couldve been a bit more tastier. Non veg and veg both options are available. You should book in advance if youre going on the weekend. Had a good time.
You will get an absolute breathtaking view of the city from the top of the 24th floor. The food is very good and the staff is very courteous. On the downside during the Covid times, you would have to wait for more than an hour in evening due to the social distancing norms followed by the restaurant. Also there is only one lift to go to the 24th floor and come back so you would have to wait for at least 10 to 15 minutes to access the lift.
