Went to buy vegetables at the wholesale market. Rates and quality is the best. One market which caters to eveything and anything. Parking is an issue thou.

One of the biggest market in patel nagar where you get fresh vegetables and good garments. Even good food but in cheap price. You can best accommodation if you belong to middle income group. And neighbours are good. All are Punjabi so there is no issue of any fight.

A small time Big value market huddled behind the shadipur metro station. One stop for all your needs, a thriving vegetable market, cosmetics, cheap clothes and groceries. I just love to make a tour if I need way too many things in a jiffy. But be prepared to sweat it out and manouver through the crowd and haggle. But its nothing a plate of chat in the nearby shops cant fix.

I lived there during my upsc preparation days. I would recommend you to stay close to the metro. The rooms are cheaper as you move away from the metro but facilities and quality decrease likewise. Theres a fruit market nearby and tiffin services are good too. Dont give the broker more than 9k for a double room. They ask for security deposit which is equal to the rent for one month but its negotiable. All the best. You can always take the bus to Rajinder Nagar.

Best market, you can get anything from here. Cloths for all, electronics, vegetables,flowers, grocery,dresses for wedding at very reasonable rates. There are many local & hygienic food points, juice counters. Its near Patel Nagar police station. Great fruit market is also there. Along with medical store. JB medicos is famous. Near by metro station is Shadipur metro station which is only 50-100 metres away.

Good market, lot of things, starting from daily groceries to big big things are available here, just a few meters away from shadipur metro station, street foods and shops as well well fresh vegetables are available here even on cheaper price, 3-4 bakery shops are awesome there.
