I just called at 4:34, 12-aug-2021 the person picked my call said please call different rescue organizations for dogs because here is renovation going onI asked when should I call you thenHe said call us after 7 or 8 months till then we are not doing anything.We just keep donating to these kind of organisations but these people are enjoying our donations

I donated to this organisation thinking these people help animals when i met them at Ambience mall vasant kunj where they have a stall. But when I reached out to them to help a street dog, they asked me to pay for the vet cost for the dog. They said the Sanjay Gandhi hospital which is either their or they have a tie up is under renovation and they cant bear the cost and hence me and our neighbours can contribute for it. If we had to bear the entire cost then why have i donated and why are you showing us those pictures you have on your brochure saying you help dog. They also refused to come and see the dog and gave me number to contact a private vet. at last we took the dog to a local vet who lived nearby and got some oral medicines. This was an appaling situation.. i m never donating them again and request all to not donate such fraud sites. People for Animal you should be ashamed of yourself.. you dont deserve to be called an NGO

PFA is one of the oldest and largest animal welfare organisations.

Smt. Maneka Gandhi is extremely helpful and so is her organisation.

I went there for a job and was appointed. The first day of my work and i was devastated by the way the treat animals over there. There are hundreds of cats who are really in pain if you see them youll cry for sure but there was no one to even sir with them to cuddle them to just relax them. On the other hand a peacock came there who was electrocuted and the guy over there was just standing she was conscious and slightly drizzy abd was very thirsty because she was trying to drink water which was on the floor i asked the guy over there to bring her some water to drink he clearly denied. I couldnt stand that and just left the premises and left the job on the first day itself.Am an animal lover and i do mu bit to rescue or to help stray animals so kind of thought joining an NGO. But from my experience i tell ypu this is the worst NGO i have ever seen in my life.Just bringing stray animal to your NGO is not enough, you need to take care of them.. They cannot talk and cant even express themselves properly. Its really shameful theway you treat animals atleast repect the name of your NGO and start acting upon it.

They are literally making fun of animals. They didn’t arrive to pick up a dog for 3weeks. And instead calling me insensitive for not treating that dog. The dog wasn’t improving even after giving medications by me. That’s when I approached them. The person handling their email account is too rude and mannerless.

It is sad that even in the worst cases you dont get to talk to Mrs Maneka Gandhi. All they do is keep giving you number of other people, shout at you and desperately try to close the case if you have mailed them.I have talked to Meenakshi Awasthi for several issues and she simply will not offer any help but want to try to close the case. I had a terrible experience every single time.Sad but true.

In my locality which is very close from this NGO I dog got injured by another dog very baldy.. we tried to contact them through phone by they did not answer.. they are just money making organisations.. nothing else..

I am very disappointed with the organization. Just keeping the name People for animals wont really help until you guys will really help animals. What I have observed by looking at other people reviews and talking to one of the member in this organization is that they only work for TRPs and money. I called one of the staff of this organization to help a dog which is abandoned by one of my acquaintance and this dog was not treated right by the owner. I could not see this dog in such a situation as he is very scared of the people and other dogs as the dogs of our locality is not familiar with him and one of the dogs tried to bite him. I cant keep the dog because I am always travelling and I live in the accommodation provided by the company which is a PG where I share a room which 6 other people. So I contacted People for Animals to help this dog and this lady i spoke to is telling me to keep the dog despite knowing it is not possible. Firstly, If keeping this dog was really possible ,I would have never contacted them. And this lady was keep on insisting me to keep the dog at my PG instead of helping him out. Then she gave me an option ... and a money making option.... to put him in boarding center because they also provide boarding facility. Boarding is way better than rescuing a dog for making money... right. Such a pathetic idea to gain money. Kuddos to this organization.Gaining money in the name of speechless creatures. Commendable Job. I cant even tell how dishearten i was when they refused to take this dog.SHAMEFUL.

Illogical approach, not ready to listen other people. They think they are only people who know how to love animals.

These people are so fake. They dont take care of the real issues until their is some benefit for them in it. I approached them to help a dog who is tied up every night in a park wothout food and water and he keeps barking until he tires out. I have tried even contacting the guards in the area as well tried getting into the park to help this dog late at night in vain. It is like people have become heartless to animal pleas. This institution is pathetic and I would not suggest this place ever.

I spoke to one of their legal heads Niharika Kashyap on an issue over dog adoption, this woman working on such a noble project had actually no compassion for the specie. Its so sad people like her associate themselves with no knowledge of the cause. After my interaction with her its so evident I would never approach People For Animal team in any grave situation. Very sad!!

There is dog stucked in a plot. Approx 10-12 ft heights of there walls. This organisation clearly deny for help. They said Maam how it can be possible for us to jump over there. You should call the fire brigade, they will help you and they can cross any height of walls. Is it the way this organisation works for animals??

Extremely disappointing response from PFA. Contacted Ms Ashima & Ms Sumedha Iyer to rescue 6 new born pups and mother whom I have saved from being abandoned near railway track to die by locality people. Only thing they could say was that they would speak to the culprits on the phone and made tall fancy claims.Ms ashima and Sumedha if you are reading this review i am deeply saddened that you claim yourself to be animal activists and try to help these poor souls. I had personally called you numerous times only to get tall claims and no assistance.Thank you so much for not providing timely assistance and as a result of which 76 lives are in danger or maybe even lost. you all arent people for animals but people against animals.

This is to tell you all that these guys on the calls are not helping at all :-Firstly I dont know why they put up there no.s on Google but once you call them they will give you another no. And on that number no will pick up callAnd then I tried to call back the first person and I asked them who they are and what I found out that is they are also rescuers and they are picking call but giving another no.Wo ever is finding these organisation are getting fooledThere are still many hurting dogs on streets and they are no help .Now I am sure those 7 puppies will going to die for sure.all thanks to this NGO or whatever

Its the head office of the Sanjay Gandhi hospital close to Rajouri garden.Donations are accepted here. But if you want to see the animal shelter, your have to go to Sanjay Gandhi hospital and see.

I have almost admitted 5 to 6 dogs in severe conditions at this shelter but it was so strange that every dog died. I was surprised once I was told that the dog is okay and later told that dog passed away. I had asked for the body but denied. I dont know the facts but I had lost my trust in them due to a lack of transparency
