Kamala Nehru College initially offered courses in humanities but later the commerce stream was added. Today, KNC has 12 flourishing departments offering courses in the Humanities, Social Sciences.

This is my college, a decent sized campus, parking space available, a field on the other side, with faculty accomodation buildings in connection to the main campus. Capacity of around 2k-3k students.

This system basically allocates the various subjects and project/dissertations into their own category of electives that need to be completed. The college has the freedom to choose some of the subjects that they want to provide to the students. The students have freedom of choosing their subjects from a pool of various different types of subjects. Like other Delhi University colleges, Kamala Nehru College also provides reservation for SC/ST and OBC as per the university rules and regulations. The college has a total of 1600 seats.Kamala Nehru College, New Delhi, has various clubs and societies for the overall development of the students. Some of the societies currently present in the college eco-club, film club, dance clubs for both western and Indian styles, creative writing clubs and debating clubs in both Hindi and English language, photography, fashion and choreography clubs, and the likes.Among facilities, Kamala Nehru College has modern classrooms, science labs, canteen, gymnasium, computer centre, seminar room and an auditorium.
