Mela Ground Pusa Newdelhi 110012All types of Agriculture & Forming Event organized (Kishan Mela) by Govt of India .

The place is surrounded by open Farm Lands. It has 4 Hanger like structure for Exhibition Cum Conference setup. The Centre hall has a concrete stage of size 24mtr 60cm By 14mtr 30cm with stairs on both side and wheelchair accessibility on one side. The Green room and washroom for stage is being build and is in its final stage. The size of one hall with stage is 25 ft by 225 ft.

It was an amazing experience to go there,there were wide number of things to learn and see.

Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela organised in March every year is the best agriculture fair one can witness in India.Representation from all the states and all Departments showcasing the newest technologies in the field of Agriculture, Horticulture, fisheries, dairy farming, Agri Engineering, etc.You name it you have it.You get all the time to interact with scientist, doctors and engineers of Agriculture. Visited here for Krishi Unnati mela 2018. Everything was maintained well, the pavilion were big and air conditioned.

Some of the best fairs are put up on this Mela Ground especially the Agricultural Fest and Science Fest, one can get to see all the organic produce by a number of farmers across India.It is apt to say that one can gain a lot of information about the food products that we eat on a daily basis and not only you can see things but also buy them for example, honey, ghee, grains etc.The budding scientist and agriculturist come here to showcase their research like in the National Science Congress held in February, one participant showed how cane sugar can replace white sugar and came up with some samples of products they made from it like chocolate, isnt it great!Next, there I got to know about the real Perl and how jewellers fool us by selling us fake perl. Similarly a lot of information like this you can get if you visit such Melas.Water facility is available also there are many vendors if you want to have some snack. Do take your children as they will love to get knowledge about such things.Also, Ill advise you to come on a vehicle as you might end up buying a lot of stuff!!

Recently Krishi Unnati Mela 2018 as well as biannual conference of Krishi Vigyan Kendras of India was conducted here and honourable PM, Mr. Narendra Modi visited the Mela.

Recently renovated with the help of the residents living arround the park, it is a favourite playground with the children and a great watering place . It is an ocean where precious pearls of knowledge are carefully colleced and then studded on the crowns (minds) of children with the intention of making them not only confident but also bold enough to face life and to help life...

This is situated in the campus of ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Pusa Campus, New Delhi where various programs related to Agriculture is organized throughout the year, specially in the months of February-March. This time the Mela will be organized on 1-3 March 2020. You can go there by metro (Rajendra Place or Patel Nagar) or by taking bus (522 & 721). Usually there is no ticket required for most of the programs.

I attended EIMA 2017 there, good Agriculture Machinery Show, but lot of chinese companies were there and no help was there for communication with them, so it was difficult interacting with them.

This opens only for krishi mela only. No other activities allowed.
