This place has been on my bucket list for a very long time, I am so glad I got to visit today. The food is without any doubt outstanding, as well as the the staff is very attentive and friendly. It is on a pricey end, but the experience is worth the money and time. If you are visiting Delhi, definitely book a table and visit the restaurant.

Has been on my wishlist for long.. we were staying at the hotel so getting a reservation same day was easy.. food and the ambience was very good.. however their signature dal bukhara failed to impress.. it was an experience having dinner at this iconic place

One of the most iconic restaurants in Delhi. This place is a must visit. The ambience is great. Really, liked the small menu but specialised menu. Heaven for meat lovers and some good options to drink as well. It has no cutlery theme with pretty great ambience . You can visit this place with family and friends. The staffs are very polite and helpful. All covid protocols has been followed. One of my favourite restaurants.

A long pending visit to one of the Delhi’s top restaurants. Known for its tasty food, it has good sitting space on the ground floor of ITC Maurya hotel. Staff here is very helpful and service excellent. The food is supposed to be taken by hand, in traditional way. Dal Bukhara is a must try. At the end Phirni is a good choice to close the meal.

Our favourite restaurant in Delhi... We come here once every month for dal Bukhara. The ambience is really good. The service and hospitality is probably the best in Delhi. Truly makes you feel like youre at a some really special place. Its a retro built indian restaurant and the interiors deserve alot of appreciation. There always a 45min to 1 hour waiting over here and thats purely because its the best restaurant of Delhi.However its not tough to wait for a table over here as you can chill at the lobby of Maurya aur take a small snack at the Pavillion. The location, approach, parking facilities of Maurya are very good so its convenient to get here. Overall a 5-7 star experience 😍😍😍

Overrated, overpriced, and complete waste of time. Their 100 ml tea can easily win a Michelin Star for being the worst Tea in the world... They dont care if you leave hungry, another Star for hospitality...One actual good thing was the guy actually made an effort to get me the Tea, but his efforts were futile.

One of my all time favourite restaurants in India. The Bukhara is truly an iconic restaurant, where the menu is quite straightforward & simple yet the food is best in class. The food is extremely rich with intense mouthwatering flavours, where the meats literally melt in your mouth. You must try this place incase you havent. There is usually a long wait, so be prepared. The restaurant GM is one of the nicest people and very friendly. The staff is super attentive and very friendly. Absolutely love dining here. The lamb, Black Dal Bukhara (lentils) and the white chicken (malai) is stunning.

Really great experience at the Bhukara restuarant which is located on the Ground level of ITC MAURYA.This restuarant is themed on mughal. Dishes were perfectly cooked by an very experienced chef. Overrated, Over hyped and Over priced.Why would you like to pay a premium price at a restaurant? Like 11k for 2 person?If they offer extraordinary delicious food only?If They offer a mix of delicious dishes, luxurious seating, good quantity?If they have good variety of dishes?OrIf they offer large quantity?Youll find nothing of that sort at Bukhara.After about an hour of waiting in the lobby, once you get in, the ambience is as good or as bad as your areas dhaba style restaurant.The menu, it is just two pages. One for veg and the other for non-veg. The list ends soon as it starts. A few breads and a few tandoori veg or meat. The popular Dal Bukhara and desserts.When you see a limited menu and when each dish is at least Rs.2k, youd expect the taste to be extraordinary. But be prepared to be disappointed. The dishes taste just average. The very popular Dal Bukhara is just 3 out of 5, and Im being generous.Apart from good hospitality and hygiene, there is nothing to be looked forward to. If the overpriced food and drinks does not make you leave soon, the uncomfortable seating will.

I must admit that India is a culinary paradise for foodies, with diverse cuisine that changes from state to state (yes, theres so much more to Indian cuisine than ubiquitous butter chicken!). I visited this place twice and this review is my second visit. This restaurant is renowned for its rustic atmosphere, open-fronted kitchen, and delectable Northwest Frontier tandoori cuisine. Amazing place with great quality food. Im more impressed with the quality of the food and the atmosphere which is quite calming. Recommended it!

Extremely overrated and overpriced. Being one of the most expensive restaurants in Delhi, the food and the service is below average. We were 8 people and chose their ‘on table buffet’ where they serve unlimited starters and then the main course (which is only Dal and Breads) and then the dessert. When asked if they can serve coffee, they said no. When asked if we can get some rice, they said no. They brought spoons and forks and even tissue papers when we asked for them. When asked why they don’t give spoons, one of the experienced waiters said “That’s how we do it here. The idea is to eat with hands”. They had also served Raita and I’m not sure how one is supposed to eat raita with hands. May be they expected us to drink directly from the big bowls. To add another point, If the idea is to eat with hands, why wouldn’t you give tissue papers? May be the idea is to lick our fingers but the food wasn’t that good.There are plenty of good restaurants in 5 star hotels where you get your money’s worth. Bukhara is not one of them.

The breads, the meats, the shrimps, the dal and the potatoes all traditional dishes with intense and authentic flavors. The same thing with dessert.Price: high but worth it.Tip: book a table in advance as the place is always fully booked, and go hungry!The flavours were a real discovery and the food is mouth-watering. Pricing is a bit costly but that’s probably down to the location. Would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

In 80s, I used to frequent this place from the main road in School uniform. An occasion befitting stay,with family in Maurya and meals here was a lifetime experience...

Excellent cuisine and fine dining place. Really enjoyed Salads and breads. Hotel is keeping a very standard of Sentization and packed cutlery. Hotel staff were very attentive and warm welcoming.

BUKHARA has opened just yesterday 27 th Aug. I jumped at the offers & information & had dinner.They have a good system for checking in to the Restaurant. Gives confidence in COVID times.The seating has been carefully isolated for every Group, they have Glass partitions for every table, they provide an Apron for the Guests while they are seated. Table Services are contact free. Menus are on QR scanner of your cellphone.Orders are served on a wooden platter-plank, guest has to lift the food onto the Table. Social distancing is well maintained throughout the dining.Although it was our 1 st visit post COVID to any Restaurant, Im wondering what other eateries will be offering. BUKHARA was reassuring.Highly recommended for out-of-home dining.No comments on taste since it has not changed & remains the BEST.

Delicious food, great service, unique atmosphere, quite expensive. Food was incredible, everything we had we loved - in particular the cauliflower and naan is amazing! Service was some of the best we had in India. Good wine and cocktail selection. Try to get a table that can look at the kitchen, fun to watch. For India this is a very expensive meal (likely will spend 6000+ INR for two people with drinks).

Good? Yes. Worth the price? Probably not. For about 1/2 of the price you can certainly find other great meals in Delhi. I’m not sure if this one lived up to the hype considering it costs over $100 USD for 2 people.

There are some restaurants which are not only recognised in India, but are famous worldwide. And there are some dishes which are trademark of such places. I realised this after Mrs. Leena Arora recommended the infamous Daal Bukhara at Bukhara, ITC Maurya. This isnt your traditional Dal Makhni, but a different dish which is cooked to perfection and a very strong flavour of Garlic in it - a flavour truely unique distinctly memorable. Overall, the service was the usual ITC standard - very courteous and pampering. Rest of the north indian dishes and dining experience were par excellence and world class but the Dal clearly stole the show! No wonder this place is frequented by celebrities, experts and food lovers alike.

Bukhara is a must to visit for an authentic North Indian Meal. Daal Bukhara is their show stopper, Onion Kulcha gels perfect with it. Warm Ambiance, Great Service..

Authentic delicious Indian food..nice ambience...only problem was waiting for too long and the restuarant does not make reservations...they do so only between 7 to 7.30 pm.Love to visit again and again for its mouth watering dishes but would think 10 times coz of the waiting time...rather go to a different place than waiting for rwo hours.I waited for two hours that evening since I was accompanying a couple of Britishers and they wanted to eat at Bukhara.I had no choice except to wait...and waiting time as I was told was 1 hour only which was extended to two hours...so we went to the bar for drinks and some snacks and then moved on to Bukhara.Its rather ridiculous shifting from one bar to a restuarant in the same hotel.My suggestion is not to visit Bukhara only for its long long waiting time.To top it all nobody in the restuarant even said that they were sorry for the delay as if they were doing us a favor by allowing us entry.My British friends were too quite taken aback.Never never visit again.

Bukhara Dal (Dal Makhni ) is most salable itemOf Bukhara Resturant it’s located at ITC Maurya Chanakya Puri . Quality of food is very well , taste is also worthy . Advise to book before visiting place as moreover it’s on waiting on weekends and holidays . It may cost around 3000 to 5000 for 2 person / couple .

Finally visited Bukhara restaurant, the Mecca for non vegetarians. The vegetarians get aloo, gobhi and paneer but this restaurant is meat lover’s haunt. The menu is kebab heavy. Though the seating arrangement can be improved. Tried the famous dal Bukhara but was very average. Cutlery can be requested but are not offered. The guest are encouraged to use bare hands to tear off the meat. Service was very warm and friendly.

Just a ordinary place, only nice interior due to ITC brand. Food was not very good, there was nothing special, just a hype is created of Dal Bukhara; there are many places where you can find better dal. To me dal was just ordinary dal. Money VS food was definitely too much expensive compared to what they offer, Money VS experience; not very good just normal dine; only Staff is good.

Outstanding food, service and overall authentic experience. Came with high recommendations and it beyond delivered. Chicken kabob was the best followed by the lamb dish. Their was a black lentil bean dip that they cook for > 17 hours that was phenomenal. Must visit if you are in Delhi. No reservations taken they take two sitting an evening and ask to sit next to the kitchen where they have a huge glass that you can watch the chefs prepare the meals. The only things we didnt like was the cauliflower side and the desserts were not good but did not detract from experience overall. This is a top 10 restaurant lifetime for me personally.

The uniqueness is the skillful cooking. I had a veg platter which consisted Potato kebab, paneer and a cauliflower kebab. Yo be honest the paneer and cauliflower were nothing wow, but the potato kebab was so unique. On top of that I had Naan with Daal Bukhaara. Daal Bukhaara was just fabulous. Nothing fancy but you can say its the perfect Daal Makhni (Bukhara). The chef was kind enough to show me the kitchen and how its cooked. Loved the way they made a fusion of Lachha paratha into a Naan.

It was ok ok. Much hyped I wud say. Dal bhukara is the only dish gravy u get thr. Plus the quantity is so small. Gud for one person only.Rest all they serve r tandoori starters. We ordere bhukara naan it was quite big. But solves no purpose. Its so big that it gets too cold by the time u eat it. Like very hard. Cleaning is gud. Sanitation is gud.Quantity very poor . U share so so muc atleast give good quantity.

Naan bukhara ,very crisp crunchy and well cooked ......its huge ,you need atleast half a dozen people to eat it .Besides their dal bukhara , kebabs and grilled vegetables are also good.Courteous staff.All mandatory covid precautions, so its safe during this pandemic times.

Its a very overrated place. Their speciality Dal Bukhara was pathetic...it was just a more thicker version of dal makhani. The taste was bad. The so called naan is extremely is overpriced ₹2000 which is also not very special. Any other good restaurant in Delhi would serve better food at a reasonable price than this one. So please dont waste your hard earned money.

Bukhara serves hearty Punjab food with emphasis on Tandoori cooking. Portions are generous and flavor is rich. There are several dinning rooms and an open kitchen. The staff aims to please and hustles to provide service. Better make a reservation a few days in advance. By the way, no tableware is provided. By custom food is eaten with your right hand.

Great food. Daal Bukhara is really amazing but they dont have many veg options. Their cauliflower appetizer is just bad. All other veggie options just have a lot of panner in it.Naan Bukhara is good to order for 1 time but next tile I will order other breads I think they will be really really good. Naan Bukhara just to hold that big naan in place is a little too thick.I will definitely go there again to try their meat options.

We booked our table beforehand and it was quite a nice place and because we reached at 12.30 (restaurants opening time) so, we were the first ones. This is a quite famous place so, please book your tables beforehand. We tried the obvious dal bukhara which was good in taste but not very good. Also, paneer tikka was fine but their service is really good.

Great to experience the original Bukhara as we are big fans of the NYC one. Malai chicken and Dahl Bukhara were fantastic. We went on Saturday night so the hotel and restaurant were quite busy. We had to wait an hour, so we went to lovely Thai restaurant on roof for a drink.

Bukhara being one of the main restaurants of ITC Maurya is a class apart.The kebebs are authentic and delicious, my entire family are meat lovers and we totally enjoy the food there.The tandoori murga, the kebabs are a must try .......the huuuuuuuge naaaaan bukhara is amazing like one naan feeds almost 6 people ......dal bukhara is the veg option and its yummy..... the staff are friendly and soooo soooo helpful...the seating arrangement is almost middle eastern style....prices are on the higher side but totally worth the indulgence..... kudos ..... totalllllly recommended...
