Great initiative! We must all come visit, donate, help teach the kids and do our share. Mr. Singh who sits in the office is a kind man. People who are complaining about the school should help more and complain less.

I attended the Diwali Mela at Blind Relief Association in 2018 and was very happy to see a variety of stalls ranging from cloths to handicrafts. The mood was festive and place was buzzing. I have heard great things about the candles made by the Blind Relief Association, but since arrived on the last day there was not much stock left. Lesson learnt - be an early bird at this market.PS - The food stalls could have been better in terms of taste and price.

The organisation must be taking care for the students but the structure is not apt for students living there. Theres no such facilities provided for blind students. The open area and green spaces are still fine.

Place has everything made by blind people. However it has commercial shops too.One nice thing is the massage that these people provide. Leg massage costs only Rs. 100 and they do a fantastic job. Best part is that they love their job and do it with utmost sincerity.Buying a product and getting it billed is a task in itself with old people incharge of computers and billing. They do things at their convenience. Even simple things like swiping a card takes time here!

It was a school just like any other, only that the materials used there are different from the school of those who see. They use materials like braille to read and write. All of the students has lead sticks, the pavements also were made in a manner that was blind friendly.

Though the exhibition is always good. But the recent hype about it has kind of just made it into a fish market type. Too much crowd for almost same stuff available in usually all the melas .The only reason one visits is to pick up the candles/ diyas made by the blind school kids .The rest is now just a hype.

This place is celebrating its 75th year of success in 2019. The whole campus can be broadly categorized into 4 parts - school, college, polytechnic (covering computer courses up to 1 year of duration, making of candles, paper bags, sewing of bags, operating machines etc.) and 4th segment which is managed by NGO Youth4Jobs offering computer training and assistance with job placement. This well guarded campus consists of separate hostels, mess (Rs10/meal), open gym, vast playground, a snack shop. Its a complete campus in itself for visually impaired people. Students have won gold and other medals in various sports competitions. Volunteer opportunities always exists here. Call them before planning to visit.

Actually he is a sick person a A jerk. I dont understand why people are not speaking against him. Everyone in this association telling that he is not a good guy. He sees mother of blind as his entertainment tool abusing them and they agreed with because their children are there. Guys stand UP. Firstly in a association like this a man should behave positively. He is demolishing people with words and not just words with ACTIONS as well.
