Lovely place, with nice and friendly staff...Good amenities overall...Gonna break this review out in parts so bear with me...Locality:Kind of right in the city, but still very accessible. Pretty close to the Bengali market, which has most of your shopping needs.. It was a 20 minute drive from the airport (11pm in and 4 am out). And on a rush day it takes just over 40 minutes from the airport.Amenities:Didnt visit any of these, but Im going to list them all the same.Gym, Spa, Pool, Nightclub, A Japanese restaurant, and another Pan Indian restaurant, and one or more event halls.The stay:Lodged up in a Deluxe King room.It was a very comfortable stay, with all the comforts you can ask for.Theres a bathtub in here, as well a safe which you can configure for yourself to keep your valuables safe...Housekeeping is very prompt and thorough with their cleaning and maintenance of the room. Mattress is a spring mattress with very soft pillows (emphasis on very soft)The food:Buffet -Good spread of food overall, with an emphasis on North Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine. Their south indian items during breakfast is underwhelming but was fine every other time (considering were this far up north, shouldnt be expecting it to be stellar). Sunday brunch was amazing, and I loved the variety of dishes across each day.The buffet is a tad on the expensive side, but is absolutely worth every rupee that goes into it.In room dining -Ordered just once in room... Ordered the jerk chicken burger and a frozen berry smoothie... They make it a point to call out any allergens and ingredients when taking the order, and they are prompt in sending up the order too... My only nitpick wouldve been the lack of a straw, but considering its COVID, Imma let it slide.The vibe:Never a dull moment with the staff at the place. They go out of their way to make the guests stay a comfortable one. Customer is king is definitely a motto these folks live up to...All in all... A positively delightful experience...Would definitely recommend a visit

So, how the mighty have fallen!! A place frequented by the well heeled class of the city with lovely restaurants like baluchi and warm service and hustle bustle of the coffee shop, now it is a sad place with lousy food at 24x7, bodybuilders masquerading as waiters talking loudly and jesting with each other, unkept toilets and depressing atmosphere. Not going again forever

All required facilities were properly available and also provided without any reminder. We had checked in very late and yet, on request, copies of emails were given immediately. Hats off.They accommodated our timings and request instantly. Late night food was also timely provided.

I have visited with my family for dinner, but my experience is not good.1. There is no proper street light near entry and exit gate.. it looks like you are entering in unknown place.2. They are asking 200rs for valet parking which is weird, I have never seen in any 5 star resturants/hotels example :- Radisson, The leela, The Surya, County inn, etc.3. Ambience is not good and airy, and no proper signs for lift lobby, hotels, resturants etc.4. Parking is not maintained properly, looking like you are at very cheap place.I have given 2 star only because of the taste of food, that is very good. Breads and vegetables are baked properly.

Would recommend everyone NOT to consider this hotel ever. Complete unprofessional team.1) Check-in Time is 02:00 PM but still we were compelled to wait for ONE & A HALF HOUR in lobby.2) When we reach room, the house keeping staff told me that there is some maintenance issue at the room hence the same need to be changed which took another HALF AN HOUR.3) Every In-Room dinning order took, minimum ONE hour to reach our room even an Ice Bucket.4) No one is even ready to pick calls at In Dinning and Reception, even after multiple calls.5) Even after informing to EM of the hotel and he assuring me to address the issue in 5 mins, no one has bothered to address the issue. The most WORST & PATHETIC 5 STAR HOTEL.

Front office and housekeeping staff very courteous and efficient. Rooms are very small for double occupancy .no outside seating or grounds so seems a bit claustrophobic. Buffet breakfast and dinner though nice was monotonous and almost replicated every day.desserts were extremely disappointing.

I stayed in 2522 for 2 days. Rooms and room service is excellent but food is below average and breakfast is not up to the mark. Very unusual for 5 star hotel as they claim. While checking out I made my mind not to visit again.

Literally everything there is amazing except for the restaurant service. It was very slow. At 10:30AM I asked if I could order tea/coffee as I was calling some guests over. After my guests arrived, at 11:00 I was told I wont be served anything until 12:30. I literally had to go elsewhere causing great deal of embarrassment. Not that it matters anymore, but I dont think Ill be going to Lalit again.The whole reason for choosing a 5-star hotel is professional service and quality. I definitely did not experience the first part.

Had the worst cappuccino of my life, mixed very small coffee powder in milk like bournvita. Never order this from their restaurant.

Very poor service. Nobody from reception/room service/ concierge or other hotel staff attended my calls from intercom during entire stay.For a single water bottle I had to visit the reception desk 3-4 times. It doesnt even deserve a single star.

The hotel is average and 5-star rating seems to high for the services and food they offer. I went there for my birthday celebration along with my wife and daughter. I booked a room including all 3 meals.The check-in time was short and smooth but to my surprise, no one took us to the room and we carry our luggage by ourselves. The room was average and the view was not the one for which you will open your window blinds so no viewing experience even after a 20th floor.The food was average in taste and very limited options. You dont expect that in a 5-star hotel buffet. We literally have to wait for basic cutlery at times. There was hardly any personal touch to the services at the buffet, unlike other equivalent properties where the staff feels you special. The staff was visibly short may be due to party hall was booked from day to night and I guess the staff were divided but that a hotel of such repute should organize so that cannot be a excuse anyways.The next morning buffet was utter disappointment as the rush was way too much then the capacity to entertain such crowd and people we queuing to get things. I was certainly not expecting that. It was a clear mismanagement on the part of hotel that they should have enough staff to attend the guest they are booking. Not the case for this. The property is Ok.We requested for Iron in evening and we could not get it even next morning. So routine room amenities were missing.The another shocker comes when they charge 200 bucks for valet service even though we were guests. And not be surprise that we were attended from the main gate to valet place which is hardly 10 steps as they would expect the guest to tip the staff. I mean no care while check-in so why doing a formality while check out.I have been to several 5 star properties in and out of India but Lalit, unfortunately, makes to one of the bottom in the list. Not a good experience at all but with one-night stay I am thankful to myself that I did not plan big or longer stay with this hotel or else it would add to my disappointment. I hope the responsible people are reading this and they can make their property worth in future.All the best .

I dont understand reason to classify this hotel as a 5 star hotel when it does not even provide valet facilities. They charge Rs 200 from guests for Valet services which is utter stupidity. Moreover, food is also very average. Ill recommend to visit alternate hotels than visiting them. Disappointing

It was the worst decision to stay at this property. Despite choosing a premium room, the rooms were dirty on check-in, the staff had to be reminded four times to get the room cleaned. The in house dining and room service never picked calls. Reception also nobody answered. Consider it only if you want to check-in and dont want any service from the hotels end. The worst experience in lifetime.No service is provided. Havent seen such poor management at a five star property like theirs. It was really shocking

This hotel is loosing its charm now. Service quality was pathetic. Their room service doesnt show up even after multiple calls and their front desk does not bother even if you ask them for room cleaning while going out during daytime. Breakfast quality was very average. Nothing extraordinary. I also had dinner ala carte and ordered pasta which was again nothing like you expect from 5 star hotel. Taste was just okay so we didnt complain. I will not recommended it to anyone now as you can find another property in the central with very good service and experience.

Good staff behaviour, good food in breakfast buffet, serving staff was very good.....room size was small, also cleaniless was not of that level that was expected, rain water collected in the parking area....there is no elevator facility to the parking area...situated in the heart of the city so are well connected with the market but if u are only visiting for leisure, this place is not for you.....locker in the room was also not working....

I stayed here for a week attending a workshop in August 2021. Spacious and well equipped rooms, very courteous and helpful staff, all of whom are LGBTQ community friendly.The hotel entrance lobby has beautiful works of art from masters like MF Hussain, Satish Gujral and co.It is also 5 mins away from the Bengali market.

This hotel is absolutely great. First of all our room was too near to lifts and was noisy at night, so reception kindly, without hesitation, moved us to a lovely room over looking the pool. Secondly, the concierge were super helpful and came up with some great suggestions and recommendations for our stay in Delhi....they were very freindly

Very bad experience . I went all the way from Noida to meet Vikas Tanwar from Banquating team but he further appointed some trainee to meet who dint have any clue about Banquating. This is sad as how they deal w/ customers and business. Such incidents put Lalit’s reputation on stake .I would recommend the higher authorities at Lalit to look at the Banquating team structure and put productive and aggressive people to work .They lost business w/ carelessness and I booked happily w/ Taj .

We tried cold coffee and Masada tea at the coffee shop. The cold coffee was perfectly blended and having drops of liquid chocolate giving perfect taste. Masala tea was equally good.

Seriously I never had this kind of pizza in my life ever to be honest. Room is really good and peaceful. But Im giving this 3 star just because of food quality there. I mean I had mutton biryani or ghost biryani which was really very very bad and it cost me around 1k rs. Something exclusive tax. Biryani was really bad.

Very good hotel in a nice locality. It is serene, One does not feel that you are in heart of Delhi. The tried to charge me for parking as a in-house guest which I found very annoying and objected to the person incharge at entry to lobby.Food is just OKThe staff is very polite and very very helpful- Food n beverage and house keeping deserve a special cheers!Check in process and billing is very smooth, quick n well done.

Very sorry to say but this time were very disappointed from the services of the hotel. Taste and quality of food were also not satisfactory . Our rooms AC was not working properly and the hotel management took atleast 20hrs to shift our room after complaining plenty of times. Even the so called engineer was available to check the AC status after 8hrs of our continuous follow up. We had faced lots of problems during our13 days stay . Its not expected from this type of star hotels . Very poor services . Cutlery n crockery were also not clean properly.

Very bad service. Tea was taking 2 hours time ..... Dental kit 2reminders and 7 hours time..... On 17th July checked in and asked for ice bucket... It arrived after 3 reminder calls and constant follow up... Food ordered at 1130 pm and delivered at 1 am..... Pathetic experience

Fantastic hotel. Services and food are good except the south indian items at the buffet counter which was horrible.

The best part of this hotel is the location. Service is decent, not top class that you expect from a 5 star hotel. Even the maintenance, even though looks decently clean is not maintained in the top notch way that you expect from a 5 star accommodation.

Location of Hotel is walking distance from Cannaught Place. Breakfast vegetarian spread was good. For non veg, spread was less. Rooms are spacious and I had a comfortable stay.

The place served average food. The parking lot was not as per standards. Also, the red sauce pasta tasted like it was not properly cooked. They told us that it was whole wheat pasta, still, we didnt find it tasty. The noodles were okayish. Ambience was good.

The brownie was fresh and was very delicious however the main course that I ordered was really below power the daal makhni was very bad even asked the chef to check it as it tasted a little tangy but he said it’s supposed be like that which was an off never had a tangy daal makhni before other than that the paneer makhni was nice but again in breads ordered garlic naan which as just naan to be frank quantity of garlic on that naan was next to 0

Lalit is one of the best hotels to stay in Delhi. its very near to most business areas and hardly 40min from airport. food is fantastic. very accessible to most business centres in Delhi and saves time from and to airport.

They probably hold a record in the worst hospitality. Had to sleep on empty stomach because these didnt pick up the call. Had gone on reception desk twice to complain for the same, still no response.Also, waited for a single cold coffee for 25 minutes in afternoon, and came back to room. Worst attitude towards guests.I was supposed to check-in at 14:00, but had to wait till 15:30 because their room was not ready.Next morning they reasoned it by stating that their staff was busy due to some function in hotel.Wasted my entire amount!Still, no geniune apology.

The laLit is overall a gem 💎 hotel 🏨 to visit. Superclean, wonderful fragrance, courteous staff and state of art infrastructure are key positive points. Do not forget to have a snapshot with Red Ferari parked near entrance. I could also observe adequate covid related attributes at the hotel.With Deep sorrow I am curtailing 2 🌟 Stars from this review because of 1 Bad excruciating experience. I visited the hotel on rainy day. 🌧 I had to park my car at basement which is not at all connected to the main entrance. Hence I could not avoid rain while returning back to entrance and got half wet before making it to hotel. The LaLit should make some decision about this.Rest all was fine. 🙂👌👍🙂

This is my 2nd time stay in this hotel. First time I had good experience in 2018 with decent hospitality but this time it was completely opposite.I checked in at 8:00pm & after that I went to their restaurant since I entered I felt that no one is interested to serve. 0% hospitality. I was travelling by myself at that time but when I saw group of people are coming there then it was completely opposite as they were doing their job.Anyway for 15min no one came to take order so finally I called & gave order. Person who came was not interested I serve me as I can see by his behaviour. Even for refilling water I had to call waiters. Food was below average but hospitality was worse specially in restaurant area when u r solo customer. No one showed up to ask me if I want to order anything else.I didn’t expect this since last 15min I’m tying from their only & glass of water is still empty.Should I call someone to refill it 3rd time?
