Dr BR Ambedkar Bhawan is actually a school premises and also used as a boarding & lodging place for big gatherings and lot of events organised over here.Ground and first floors are used for school and above that it’s used as a lodge.For the lodging prior booking is needed as usually it very busy or booked. One can get in touch with the Manager Mr Bhasker for booking details. They have bedding facility available, the charges are ₹150/- per person per day. Even they can arrange the food also at a very minimum cost. Enough rest rooms available and Big ground available with in the premises to address the gatheringsThis place is very near to New Delhi Station (approx 2 km) there are other near by places to visit like Connaught Place, Karol Bagh.Nearest Metro stations are 1. Dr.babasaheb ambedkar buy this place at national capital for a great social purpose at that time. Huge place, huge building, and huge ground for functions... Building condition is little bit poor... every 14 april a big jayanti programme arrange here. in 2nd floor huge programme room with nice stage.

Ambedkar Bhawan is a historical place established by Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. The foundation stone of this building was laid by Baba Saheb on 15th April 1951. At present a government school, Samta Sainik Dal Office and The Buddhist Society of India office is running in this multistory building with big ground. Various events of SC/ST movements are being celebrated here in the ground as well as in a big hall at first floor. A statue of Buddha is placed at ground floor for Buddh vandna and Dhamm Diksha programs.

This place is very huge having a library This is a place where is a good ground available in their backyard which is used for different purposes such as Marriage function etc.

This place, which claims that it can accommodate large number of people, lacks some very basic facilities. The number of toilets available in the building and outside are far too few in number. The capacity of the submersible water pump is too low that the overhead tank never gets filled, despite running the pump continuously. As a result the toilets are out of water most of the time. Not a location to select, unless if you are looking for location for a group that can manage to stay in a place with rudimentary facilities.

Dr Ambedkar Bhawan is good place for cultural activities. Importantly it caters neighbourhood for social and cultural events. It is good place for weddings and other functions.Dr. Ambedkar Bhawan also has meeting room which is also available for meetings. It needs some improvements and measures should be taken for cleanliness. Bhawan is centrally located and easily accessible by public transport including Metro.
