Went there for late lunch, parking is not an issue during off hours. We had chicken barra, kakori roll, butter chicken and soya chaap masala. Kakori was nice and soft, chicken barra was delicious too, soya chaap was worst in lot as soya was not marinated and it was all bland. Butter chicken was good too.Overall, good experience

Review only for Veg food - i know it sounds strange....i had been a fan of their warqi parantha for several years and they did not disappoint today also for that. Visited al kausar after 5-6 years. Dal makhni and kadai paneer were also good as always. One star short because the veg biryani did not taste that good as it used to.

Mughlai at one of its very best, authentic and without much fanfare.. Tried chicken tikka, chicken burra, mutton korma the special kakori kabaab, their special paratha. Of course got handi biryani packed as well. No frill serving and in no time. All are so good, chicken burra need special mention. Lovely mix of spices and just tender meat, what else one can ask... will recommend to mughlai lovers.

It dont deserve even a single star. It is just over rated by the people. I you have a good taste in food you wont like it. The food has no taste and also no hygiene is maintained at the restaurant even during Pandemic. The chairs has lot of stains on it. It is better to take a takeaway than to sit inside. They aint serving anything special, the same taste you can get anywhere in del including old delhi or any street.

This is well known place for South Delhi people. Rolls are pretty good. Try the authenticity as it is century old Shop.

Oooo Al kauser has the best best warqi parathas ever. They go very well with the galouti kebabs which always have the right seasoning. Love their tandoori chicken and paneer. Also like their firni though its a bit too light for most people. I usually go to the branch next to ITC maurya.. near assam house. Its a takeaway branch, so people eat inside their cars or on the bonut :) its fun, but if you dont like plastic cutlery like me, carry your own from home ✌️

This is a gem of Muglai foods, especially if one likes kebabs and quorma. The eatery is less crowded nowadays due to covid and I enjoyed savouring kebabs with verki paratha. Both kakori kebab and gilauti were soft, melt in mouth and can be best enjoyed with verki paratha and coke. Also tried their Chicken quorma and changeji chicken. Excellent. However restaurant is cramped and doesnt look best suited for family.

We had some snacks which were almost A grade specially Gilauti kebabs whereas out of two non veg graviea we had both were B+ types... Good for a change...

This is my Second Restaurant whom i gave 5Star..... I had there chicken kaali mirch ..... I cant explain the taste of it....how delicious it was......mouth watering dishes only one negative point is it shuts little early like 11pm only....

I am very shocked that they have dropped there taste and quality and quantity too according to price too , I was use too order there food in 2013 but , after a long year I had ordered in 2021 , its very sad that they have dropped there quality in many ways even quantity too , now its a waste of money , ,

Had the tandoor platter, loved the kebabs and chapli kebab. First time trying out the nihari and boy was it good! Super savory though. Also had the chicken korma and mutton handi biryani which was good. The area surrounding the restaurant doesnt smell very good. Not too crowded also so was a good dining experience.

Heard this is a very old restaurant near Munirka in Delhi. I went to take away parcel of Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biriyani because I heard they serve in earthen pots. In fact the parcel was also packed in pots and 2 pots were sufficient for 3 hungry stomachs. The biriyani tasted very good with distinct flavours of whole spices. Next time Id like to visit to sit and dine. Recommended place to eat authentic non-veg dishes.

Simple working ambience , bang on the Old Palme road , next to Swami Malai temple , as you come down from the RTR flyover towards east. Parking is always an issue . Food is tasty, spicy and hot. The chicken snackers , I mean the tikkas are really awesome. Go for kakori kebab, werki naan . You can have a sumptuous gastronomic feast with this. Beside youve the gehlouti, malai kebab. The gosht nihari will taste better than Kareems ( of Chandni Chowk fame). Its got separate room for families(AC) and for stag people. The crowd may not be very prim and posh, however the service and stewards are very well behaved . Mostly its doing booming business as a takeaway for people residing in RK Puram, chanakyapuri, vasant Vihar, vasant gaon , munirka etc

Great biryani. This is the best biryani i have had for quite some time. The place is mostly a take away joint. There is no place for sitting. You can park by the road and also eat in your car.The biryani is just right neither too spicy nor too bland. Costs around 360 rs. They pack it in handis (earthen pots) so that it stays hot. Place gets very crowded by 730. There is at least 15- 30 mins waiting time for your order to get packed as they are mostly catering to home deliveries.

That craving of mughlai taste of old Delhi charm can be satiated only here.

Had high hopes for this place after too much hype about the kind of food you would get here. But after tasting the signature dish and the way it was presented, I have to say that I was disappointed. It was not just me but for my friends too. They didnt have proper plates. No preper hygiene. Just riding in the name and fame of the past of the restaurant. Will never return and will never advise anybody to go for this restaurant

Yummiest Galawati Kebabs (to die for!!) and delicious Chicken tikkas are my absolute favourites. Biryanis are heavenly, very different too. Even the Dals and vegetable curries are so delightful one could eat endlessly. Awesome place for all types of foodies.
