A peaceful place for meditation. I travelled alone here before 5 years. The height of the Buddha statue is 13 feet 6 inches. Its weight is around 30 tones. The height of the lotus pedestal is 2 feet 8 inches and it weighs around 17 tones which was so divine. Along with that there were sculptures with great life understanding messages. This place is surrounded by awesome garden which is complete greenery and soothing as well.
One of my favourite place❤️ its located in Mehrauli, New Delhi. The nearest metro station is Qutab minar. Its a beautiful temple of Lord Mahaveer. A Beautiful, giant statue of Lord Mahaveer is located here, a beautiful view of greenery, garden, Qutab Minar, and the tomb is such a treat to eyes. Specially at night, the view is amazing ❤️ The place emits such positive vibes and peace of mind❤️🥰 Must visit🌈
It is a very peaceful place, religious and heart touching. You are actually going to love it
Wow never to miss this place if you want to see every good thing in Delhi .I was literally impressed after visiting ahinsa sthal .
A place of serenity, of meditation and other worldiness as you look at the expanse of green from your high perch, broken only by the occasional glimpses of historic ruins and an awe inspiring Qutub Minar. The beautiful monolith statue of Lord Mahavir makes you feel grateful for your existence and persuades you to go deep within yourself. Best time to go is in the morning winter sun.
This is a Jain temple whose main deity is Tirthankara Mahāvīra. Mahāvīra was the last human spiritual guide. At the top of this temple, a statue of Mahāvīra is made using Graphite Rock measuring more than 10 feet high. A large space is available near this statue for the people to pray and worship.Although the statue is located at the top, but a person on the wheelchair can also go there because there is a slope up to the top along with the stairs.Whole area is amazing with beautiful greenish plantation. Also while area is under CCTV surveillance. One important thing is you are only allowed to go by bare foot.
Ahinsa Sthal means “Place of Peace” or “Place of non-violence”. The Ahinsa Sthal is a Jain Temple which was established in 1980 near Qutub Complex on MG Road. The main god of the temple is Lord Mahavira, the 24th and very last Tirthankara (human spiritual guide) of the current half round of time.In this busy life sometimes you want to rest in tranquil and peace Ahinsa Sthal is one of those uninterrupted & peaceful spots in Delhi. The massive and magnificent 13 feet 6 inches high statue of Lord Mahavira in Padmasana (Lotus Position) adds glory to the temple. The statue of Lord Mahavira was engraved out of granite rock in Karkala and it weighs about 30 tonnes. The elevation of the lotus podium is 2 feet 8 inches and it weighs about 17 tonnes. The statue is placed at the apex of a small hill. How to Reach Ahinsa Sthal?Ahinsa Sthal is located at Anuvrat Marg, Christian Colony, Mehrauli, New Delhi-16. The nearest metro station to the place is Qutub Minar (yellow line).Entry Fees and TimingsEntry to this place is free of cost. The place is open for all days of the week and the referred timings are 10 am to 5 pm.
Seeking blessings of lord mahavira was a very enriching and enlightening time there. Hope to visit this temple very soon
After a long time saw any Jain temple.. you can see many other historical places near this.. A good place to see the nature, feel calm, smell fresh ( not so much ) air, a positive silence in your inner heart.. clean nd clear park.. anyone can go there with family or friends or alone also Safe for girls..

Very clean.. soothing.. cooperative staff.. nice place to visit.. near to chattarpur mandir and qutub minar complex..
The Ahinsa Sthal is a Jain temple close to the Qutub Minar archaeological park. The centrepiece of the temple is a 4 metre high sculpture of Mahavira, the last of Tirthankaras in the current era according to Jain theology. The sculpture depicts Mahavira in the sitting in the yogic position, meditating and looking serene. The sculpture is worth a detour if visiting the aforementioned park, but not really worth going out of the way to see otherwise. The sculpture is located high up above the ground, where you can get great views of the surrounding area, including the Qutub Minar and the tomb of Azad Khan. Well, you would if it wasn’t for the lovely winter fog of Delhi.
Very peaceful place.. People staying nearby should visit to experience bliss.
