One of the best place in Delhi to go to. Its a quite place and very beautiful place. This used to be the home of Baba saheb before his death, which was converted into a museum few years back. The museum covers whole life of Baba saheb. There is a guide facility available, or you can get an app downloaded which acts as your guide. As the building is a government building, there is very less information about his fight againat casteism. There is a beautiful part in the basement where you can see the room as baba saheb kept it. It is a really good place. The canteen is also good.

After stepping in from the main entrance I was teleported into an entirely different world that was huge and dark but full of dozens of multimedia displays that were more than 30 feet tall. I especially liked this rare photo that was taken after Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar came out of a long period of meditation following the sad demise of his wife after which he was transformed into a monk and people started calling him Babasaheb from there on. After entering this imposing statue of Dr. Ambedkar greets you and this is an amazing 25 ft tall. At every place, there is a QR code to scan using a mobile device and read more information about that stall or gallery. The tour guide is also available for no cost and the museum entry is also free.♿ Accessibility Features:Yes=Ramp access.Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Entrance.Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Restroom/Toilet.Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Seating.Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Parking.Yes=A wheelchair-accessible Elevator.

This is the fourth important and holy place related to Dr. Ambedkar located at MA 26 Alipur Road, Delhi of 1st th. This place was given by the Raja of Sirohi to Dr. Ambedkar was presented. He started living in this place on 27 September 1951 after resigning from several posts of Central Law. This place is spread over an area of 73 ) Garg meter which is a masterpiece of architectural art. This is the first beautiful monument in the shape of an open book in India. The shape of the main building of the monument is a symbol of the constitution and empowerment of India. This building itself is a unique example of art. Apart from a wonderful museum, this memorial complex also has a meditation hall, cafeteria, musical fountains, Ashoka Pillar, two toran gates similar to the gate of Sanchi Stupa, Dr. There is also a bust of Ambedkar and an open theater for small gatherings and performances. The overall atmosphere of the monument is a perfect blend of modern science and traditional Buddhist architecture. Superb place😍😍😍

26 Alipur Road where Dr BR Ambedkar breathed his last is known as Mahaparinirvana Bhoomi. The memorial has been designed to look like a constitution in the form of a book and is spread in nearly 2 acres. This building is an amalgamation of modern and Buddhist architecture. Musical fountains, a replica of the Ashoka pillar at Sarnath and a 12 foot high bronze statue are some of the highlights of this complex. The first floor houses high quality displays related to Babasahebs life. The lower level of the two-storied building has an exhibition gallery, where days spent by Ambedkar on the premises have been illustrated. His last days and journey have also been captured vividly. And this unique interactive table is a delight for Constitution lovers. It is full of information on Baba Saheb and the Indian Constitution. The Memorial also has a meditation hall with a Marble statue of Mahatma Buddha. The stone used is in the area has been imported from Vietnam

Ambedkar National Memorial is a great place to visit. If you are married and also have kids, must take them along. It will leave a good impression on them. Old age people will also enjoy.Take your time while you go from one exhibit to another, read the description and see the photographs carefully. You will feel as if you have been transported to that era.Dont forget to take a quiz on one of the screen-boards. It doesnt matter really if you know all or none of the answers. The sheer joy of taking that quiz is great. If you feel like going for meditation, talk to officials there and you can sit in front of a big Buddha statue.Take note of how things have been arranged to make Ambedkars personal room/office real. And, if you feel hungry you can eat at the cafeteria in the half-basement. It was clean when I visited. My daughter was with me. Chawal-chhole is spicy but good. Cant say about other items in the menu as we didnt try anything else. Also, dont forget to see the replica of Ashokan Pillar at the entrance and a replica of parliments round-roof structure at the back.If you go there in pleasant weather, you can sit on the flights inside the campus. Its an overall enjoyable visit to this place. And, its free.

DR. Ambedkar National Memorial is built at the place which is also known as Parinirvan Bhoomi where he attained Parinirvan (took last breath there). Memorial is an amalgamation of Modern Buddhism Architecture. Physical structure of memorial is appreciable, Memorial is in shape of Book because he is know asSymbol of knowledge,Father of Indian ConstitutionAnd He also produced Buddhist Bible(Buddha and His Dhamma)Memorial displays his whole life, But there are many things which Memorial tried to Hide1)22 Vows (which he prescribed while converting )are one of those things which Indian government have tried to hide. Instead they said He prescribed 5 vows. So from this perspective Memorial is misguiding.2)His Literature, in his memorial there are no Books available to read about him and written by Him. This is a shame that Book shaped Memorial dont have any Book written by Him.Basically memorial from some aspects will mislead you and will provide you wrong information. So dont believe without researching. His 2nd Vow was that he will not believe in Ram and Krishna and will not worship them but Memorial speakers while giving information used Ramji word between his name which was his fathers name. He also wrote on Rama in his book Riddles in HINDUISM. Boddhisattva Ambedkar was very Intelligent and Buddhism Revivalist. And this memorial is an attack on his ideology as he believe that a library should be open instead of Memorial but we see that their was no book available. Even his writting and Speeches(22 Volumes) government is not printing. So this is clear that memorial is a safeguard to BJP government as they want to destroy his ideology and a memorial is not as harmful to them as his ideology is. He was true India and we proud to be Indian. He said Firstly and Lastly I am Indian. You should ask India government to place a library so that Visitors can read his books and understand real Ambedkar then the Partial Ambedkar they are displaying. His writting and Speeches are Available online you can Resd From there.Vipassana Hall there is just for Formality. There is no one available to instruct Vipassna and No Barriers for the noise coming from the rest memorial. I think whole memorial is a show piece. No Monk was appointed there, BJP also tried to counter his Buddhist movement.

Dr. Ambedkar National Memorial is built where he lived since retirement till last breath (6 Dec 1956). The building is made in the structure of an open book, possibly Constitution of India. There is a meditation room, musical fountains and garden, Ashoka Pillar, two doors similar to the ones in Sanchi Stoop, various 3d outlets, world class dummies (equivalent to the ones in Madame Tussads), animatronics (robot), hand symbols from Buddhism and Hinduism, interactive smartphone app and huge touchscreens. The cafeteria is neat, clean, affordable and offers a delicious menu. This memorial was inaugurated on 13 April 2018. Parking is available inside for Rs20. Entry is free.
