It was earlier a nice place to spend your morning time. But now a days due to the Airoli-Katai naka freeway construction work, the calmness is gone. The authorities are destroying the nature in the name of development. I have stopped my morning walk because of this.

This is a very nice for morning walk. Benches are placed at intervals for resting. Clean and neat roads and footpath. Thanks to people NMMC workers. Dustbins are also placed at many spots. A rental cycle service (Yulu) is a helpful. Washroom available as well. Overall a nice place for morning or evening troll.

Beautiful pathways made for people to walk around close to the nature. There whole walkway is open all 24hrs. They have benches and informative posters to have information about various birds that could be seen here.Various different birds is the most attraction of there walkways.Sunrise n sunsets are beautiful to watch from here.

Sunrise Point, also known as Khandala Point, is located alongside the marketplace. This place is serene in the morning as very few people are able to make it to the sunrise. Sitting here quietly works wonders as you hear the chirping of birds, sound of breeze striking against trees and music composed by tree leaves. Our ancestors used to say that when you see a rising sun, it gives you tremendous energy. Sun rising above glorious mountains with golden reddish sky forming the backdrop unquestionably make for a beautiful sight and give you positive energy. I did yoga at sunrise for 20 minutes and definitely felt very energetic that day as compared to other days where I follow a different lifestyle. Its 5-15 minutes’ walk from the marketplace, depending on the location of your hotel. Ask some local person or the receptionist of your hotel about sunrise time for the next day, before you go to bed at night. Sunrise time mentioned on the internet can be wrong sometimes and you obviously don’t want to miss this sight. Videos recorded at sunrise are just perfect and can be used in any of your travel videos. I ended up with a shaky sunrise video because my view was obstructed by other photo enthusiasts and hands started trembling after a couple of minutes. So, I recommend taking your tripod along, if you intend to record the sunrise. While heading back to your hotel after seeing the sunrise, I would propose to indulge your taste buds in lip-smacking breakfast that has kandha poha and jalebi.

One of the peaceful places in Mumbai for a good morning walk. It is located near Airoli Burns Hospital.The only negative is that for last two weeks there is some excavation work started and this is killing the peace and beauty of this place.It also has yulu cycle zone from where one can rent a cycle for as little as Rs.10
