The registrar office is not very cooperative and helpful to students taking their exams internationally. I had a conversation over email for a span of a week that could have be solved in matter of one day. I would recommend the office handling exams to be more polite in their phone conversations and provide all details in one email with reasons, so one does not have to keep asking questions repeatedly.

Great place

Great place to learn music. Teachers are really hardworking, helpful and friendly. Institute has its own instruments and enough space for classes. Event organised here are open to public mostly and no doubt they are great.

Best place to learn classical singing, playing instruments and classical dance. Its a purely musical school having highly devoted Gurus to teach.

I wasted my time by learning music from Gandharva mahavidyalaya. It is a waste. There is no value of the certificate and degrees given by this institution. NO government is accepting it. The institution is not approved by University Grant Commission. There is no certificate of equivalency of the institution with any govt university. The institution is fooling the students across the country by not approving it to UGC. I am suffering a big loss.

It teaches classical music, dances. Every classical instrument and dance classes can be found here. The teachers here have P. hD degree in their respective fields.

Good experience

Very peaceful place. We can see why Goddess Saraswati must be here it is at Vashi depot. Just cross the gate.

Was at pandit V R Athawale centenary celebration samaroh at gandharv mahavidyalaya, by his students. The institute caters to dance, vocal, instruments training and certification.

I am a student of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Vashi for past two years. Presently I am pursuing Praveshika Pratham. I feel having filled with all positive charges or vibes reaching over there....its so special and pious musical atmosphere. We tend to forget everything else....only music music and music gets into the nerves. I am very happy being the student of such a pious vidya mandir of sangeet. So quiet obvious I would give 5 star.
