I most of the time visits here.. panvel is a harbour line station and is a last stop of harbour and trans-harbour.. from Panvel junction there are trains for Konkan.. every express train or passanger train going to Konkan or coming back from Konkan halts at Panvel junction.. and from Panvel station there are local trains for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj terminus and thane.. panvel station is clean n nit most of the times.. station is auspicious and seatings are there...

Very Nice ..... Junction for thane and CST + Andheri + Vasai + Diva & Dahanu

A small town but lot of trains pass through. You even have local trains access inside this railway station apart from interstate trains. Only issue is the last minute anouncement of platform have to rush to the platform. No elevator or lift. Have to walk through steps.

Nearest station for good foods, even kerala foods are available.

It was good experience at Panvel Junction.It is outside of Mumbai.It is located at navi mumbai.You can take tarin to go for pune ,Ratnagiri,Kerala.

Panvel station/junction is the last station on the harbour line. You can get local trains to CSMT, Kurla, Vadala, Vashi, Andheri & Thane from here.Also this is the junction, from here you get express, passenger trains to dahanu, Kokan, goa, kochi, mangalore etc.Station is spacious & well maintained.Eatery outlets are there.Parking & toilets facilities are there.

Panvel Junction is ordinary railway station managed by Central Railway. But CIDCO built local railway station is beautiful. All local towards Chhatrapati SHIVAJI Maharaj Terminus, Thane and Andheri are departed from here. Also it is important station on Kokan railway root.

One of the biggest and crowded railway station in India. A lot of railways and different types of trains are here. It has a wonderful architecture. Many facilities are available here for helping travellers. Taxi services such as car, auto rickshaw and electic vehicles are available there.

Platform 6 and 7 is not that much good.

Apart from platform no 5 and local train area, rest all places are Dirty and shabby... The approach road also is in very bad shape. Probably due to the road being with the railways just a major hub should have been better maintained and managed. Enquiry and ticket staff pass no information on train arriving platforms. Just announced 15mins , making the passengers to rush around with luggages. Typical babudom mentality of staff.

Very neat n clean and well maintained railway station. Its quite close to the panvel bus depot.. Easily accessible to all major hospitals, banks, and shopping malls in less time... 24*7 auto and taxi service is available... As it is the starting point in harbour line, you can easily get a seat from here.. Few of the staffs at reserved ticket counter are very much rude.. Over all its a well maintained railway station...

Also mumbai CST, Andheri Train u wll get here Thana is central station bhut from Hurber line u wll get THANE ALSO. No food stall is there on platform . U will have to carry u r food along with u. The Raiway Station is clean, but there are lots of stray dogs over there. The frequency of trains are less, you need to wait for a long time just to go 2 stations ahead. The rickshaw fare, an alternative is very expensive.

The station looks like Malaysian airport in terms of infrastructure wise, though it will take much more time to be fully operational. One of the crowded railway station of mumbai .there is no rest rooms.and have just some toiltes only. thats always clenless.and they charging also for them.even if you want charge your mobile phone there is no chargingport. Panvel station 7th platform side entry. This is one of the main railway station in navi mumbai. This junction connects mumbai to konkan railway lines which connects the southern rail network of india. Panel station houses two railway lines . One for suburban rail network for local travel. Platform 1-4 covers the local suburban trains and 4-7 platform covers long distance trains. Station has manual and automated ticketing systems. Also you have change generating machines. Reservation facility is available at this station for.lkng distant trains. There is a CRPF hub to ensure the security of station and its premises. The station has cctv cameras at key points for surveillance purpose. Station also has few ATMS in it premises for immediate cash requirements. Sbi, icici, axis banks have their ATMs in station premises itself. Station has wide parking available for two wheelers and four wheels vehicles.

Lot of parking area. U can catch auto n city bus from out side of station. U can booking fee here for Express trains

Panvel suburban railway station is a well maintained and one of the cleanest stations in Mumbai. Ample security personnels are present at every hour of the day. The incoming/outgoing train status announcements are very frequent and helpful.

Its a clean and big station panvel junction.

The sheer size of the station is befitting considering the fact that it is the extreme end of the Suburban Harbour line. Consequently the place is highlighted by its everlasting horde of masses pushing through time trying to get into trains. There are 4 platforms for the local line. There are more than 10 ticket counters and many ATVM machines present. The station boasts of high speed Railwire Wifi connectivity, courtesy of Google, although the speeds fall to minuscule levels during rush hour, which is almost every other hour! The station also has three other platforms (discrete from the local line platforms) dedicated to the Konkan Rail network.

Great station and very well built!The intercity platforms are linked to the local platforms and the local platforms come on both sides of the trains. There are many ticket counters and thus, not too much of wait time even in peak hours.Maintained very good as well.

Railway platforms are mostly clean. Autos and Texis are always available. Most of the Mail trains, Express trains and Rajdhani Express has a stoppage here. This are has been developed very rapidly in the recent years.Facility of escalator is still not there but hope it will install in near future. Local trains for CSMT, Thane, Vasai and Andheri available all days.

South end of Mumbai local train, junction for trains going to pune, goa, Mumbai & surat routes. All trains have a halt or technical halt here. Panvel central bus stand is at walkable distance. City Bus frequency from bus stand to railway station is also very good.

Drinking water facility is available within Stn also the paid drinking water is available in 1 rather you will get 300 ml 2 rs you will get 500ml 4 rs 1ltr bottle.Less rush on station at any time. But due to negligence on underground subway every 3 rd person use to cross the tracks to reach on next platform. No overbridge available. For elder people there is no facility of lift or wheelchair facility in station.

Panvel Junction comprises of Panvel suburban rail system of Harbour line of Panvel -CSMT on kharghar Line.Panvel junction also has long distance train service to konkan region, South region ,North region from platform No. 5,6 and 7.It has escalator from panvel station to Panvel East for Senior Citizens and emergency cases.

A gateway for konkan trains. Very well maintained. Soon it will be a origin for all long distance trains to konkan. There are 4 dedicated platforms for local and 3 for trains. Very well connected to central line if you catch a thane bound local. And also to western line if you take andheri local.

No security, always construction debris are scattered here and there,toilet smell is the entrance,horror of rickshaw Walla...,Very narrow and unsafe entrance road, mostly chance are there ... A rickshaw wala will hit you or harras you.Railway tried to keep away the rickshaw wala but they broke the barrier. Horrible...Not proper announcement of trains arrival and departure.No security personal/railway authority are there to manage the mob in peak hours. I think they are waiting for any stempade.Unauthorized persons boards on first class compartment of local train.

Nothing to hate

I used to stay in Panvel 10 yrs back. I spent all of my childhood there. Now this station has indeed become quite good. You can get many free ATVM machines , plus pay and drink vending machines. Many free ticket counters can be seen. Good place. Also there is a slope for physically handicapped people.

Panvel station is clean, well maintained, good arrangement of fan, and well spaced... It has divided in two parts one where the local trains come amd other for reservations.. And both have seperate main entrance which ypu may confused.

This is a hub for both normal trains and suburban trains in mumbai.it has a good feature of assistance and staffs. The tiket counters and facilities are advanced. There are so many counters for tiket booking but the problem is. Not always the counter is filled with staffs. So it might give a little bit probem for a hurry passenger. The environment is friendly, you can refresh in the restroom while waiting for train . Everything is upto date to a 8 out of ten.it is always crowded in the area so u might have to take care of your things pricicely. Always dont forget to not to take tickets whe traveling because if you are caught you will be fined a lot of money instantly which is happening on a regular basis. Thats a warning guys. Overall its a good place
