No table holding period. Capacity is not so impressive. Cannot hold large group of people.Seating arrangement is pretty mediocre with the metal seating table and attached seats. Some seats are broken and tables are not arranged correctly.But the good thing is that the prices are in total budget keeping students in mind.

It is canteen for students and people inside VNIT. It is not only place for students to eat food, but also a place to hang out with friends after classes and labs. Even after closing time, students sit there outside to have meetings and discussions with each other. The food quality is good enough than mess food.

As I have studied 5 yrs in the vnit. Canteen was the place where we used to go in the middle of 4 hr studio. I like canteen bcoz of friends than food. Food is cheap here so thats the good thing for students and u can get regular things in the menu.

Nice canteen, price is reasonable. Self service canteen. Have Separate area for staff and students. New lawn near canteen is under progress. Green and clean campus and canteen area.

The place used to be good until last year when it was run by India Coffee House. The new contractor hasnt been able to retain the charm of the place. The food options are very limited and theres hardly anything youd call delicious. Everything is just OK

Price tag is attractive but the taste is not that much good and not even bad. Except tea everything is of average level, most of the time they use the same filling material inside the Samosas, Aloo Parathas and Dosas.

Sambar wada and coffee is quite good. They have a very big menu, but dont fall for it, as most of the items are unavailable.

Very expensive for the quality and quantity of food offered. Not really very reasonable for students in my opinion.

Beverages are not good. Panner paratha is delicious.

A strong cup of coffee with extra sugar is my go to .

Limited eating stuff. Limited facility at market rate. Packed foods are not sold like chips, branded cold drinks, biscuits, etc

Before the canteen was worst, I wonder how my professors drink tea there as it used to be very unhygenic place.The canteen used to be maintained by people who used to behave very unprofessional.When i went for first time i wondered by seeing the pathetic condition of canteen in a prestigious NIT.Recently,on march 1 the contractor has got changed and workers are so professional and canteen is far better than before.Food is above average, management is very professional , done by cuisine hospitalities.I think they can improve food quality , taste more.

If you happen to be A Vnit student youll surely give less rating than this.Cause its the only and not so good canteen in Vnit.As such is the case,students have to hold on to this canteen for snacks and hangout in campus.Regarding food quality-not appreciable but okay, but youll have to wait long time for it,Theyll do that you even if theyre no orders.Guess its the tradition theyve got.Regarding Place-Common place for everyone in campus, so you better watch your launguage bud,you may get in trouble.Profs do visit this place all the time.Sitting arrangements are mediocre, and as of surrounding you got old,dusty walls with stamped posters,slogans,etc.Pricing- they charge more than average for some items like Chinese ,veg rice,etc as compared to quantity.There are high chances of you dont liking the food ordered.So,better visit with a known friend.Other items are at decent rates.You can try Dosa here.

Its a decent canteen not so huge but still from students perspective its good.When students are hungry to kill their hunger they used to go to canteen and have an order.The menu list includes both veg and non veg food items.Usually the lunch time for students of VNIT is 1 pm so when classes start at 8 and when they feel hungry so they used to eat some food item in canteen itself
