This south Indian restaurant has a grand exterior ambience but the similar setting is missing inside the restaurant. This one is really simple restaurant with simple ambience. Special south Indian thali had numerous items served in small quantities and was good to taste. Open butter masala dosa was really delicious, a must have here. Filter coffee was also great. The pricing is quite moderate and the service is also fast. Just they can try to improve the ambience a bit.

Should try this Masala Dosa from Tanjore, the taste was so good. The sambar tasted like homemade sambar and the dosa was served with 3 different chutneys.We didn’t like the taste of tomato rice.And the cold coffee was sooo good..!!.

Tanjore serves authentic South Indian food that is not just delicious, but also delicatelt layered with flavours. The menu is very varied and extends to include much more than just the usual South Indian dishes available at other places. Tanjore has a very warm ambience, it has been tastefully done up, and the service staff is very courteous. We went to Tanjore as part of the pre launch tasting. The dish Id recommend most is their Appam. Also, the fresh fruit juices are must haves!

Tanjore is an upscale place to have some South Indian food.The menu is vast and too many options. I, in particular liked their combos which give you variety for less amount.The staff here is police and helped me navigate through my order.

Mysore Masala Dosa and filter coffee are good.

The place is as fancy as the name but with moderate prices. Its one of the best places to choose if you have a authentic South Indian .We ordered Thate idli and cheese dosa.All over a really nice place.

I rarely give such low rating as my previous reviews will tell you. I am not too picky but I was disappointed with everything I ordered here. We went for Idli-Wada, Onion uttappam and Mysore masala dosa followed by coffee.The sambar is very bland. Idli was soft. Uttappam was very, very oily. And Mysore masala dosa had raw onions and capsicum in it! Not bad if you are looking for something for something like that, but that is not Mysore masala dosa and the menu did not have any description to prepare you for the unwanted addition in the recipe.Even the coffee was ok. The food was a let down, sorry to say.All the portions were smaller compared to other South Indian joints. See the Idli pic for an idea of the size of the portions.Service was quick.

They came with the various types of diff food which was good.but bt taste of Sambhar is changed. But one good thing is taste of Rassam remains same. One more thing to add they charge extra for Rassam . Overall good taste , good hygiene, just they have to improve on their staff’s attitude which was quite rude to teenagers which I saw there.

It is good for south indian delicacies.I had Dosa and wada, both were good, it is not something very good but it is ok. Good to visit with family, but not if are looking for a quite place like CCD.Parking is not available, so come early and park outside.

Cold coffee wasnt cold at all, it seems they dont use ice and serve cold coffee in room temperature, according to the waiter it was obvious information and acted surprised when we complained about it.

We went there twice & tried their north indian food.The Paneer butter masala was good but chapati was really bad. It didnt feel like chapati at all & was salty.The other vegetable(mix veg) was really very mildThey dont have much options in North Indian food.The place however was really looking pretty & was well decorated as we had visited on 31st Dec & 1 Jan.

Finally Nagpur has had a break from South Indian restaurants that serve no more than variety in dosas, idlis and uttapams. Tanjore brings a variety of South Indian dishes I havent tried before and did for the first time I went there. Had a Rawa Dosa as and bisibelle bhaath which was a mixture of different kinds of vegetables and a type of rice I couldnt quite put my finger on. Not restaurant tasty but tasty nevertheless. Friend had upma, not a great fan of the dish do wont comment. Ambience is good, place is clean and most importantly, the staff is courteous and ready to help you with anything. Even doubts regarding new dishes! Overall, a nice experience!

The restaurants quality has deteriorated. Like drastically. Tajore used to serve lip smacking south Indian food along with a relaxing and feel good ambience. My last two visits have been disappointing. Sambhar and chutney were like the worst Ive ever had, cold too. A person who is learning cooking and making dosa and sambhar for the first time in his life will do a better job, it is that bad now. I had a coffee post my meal to cleanse my palette. Theyve managed to screw the coffee as well, a mixture of coffee, milk and sugars.

A speciality restaurant. In that, it serves only South Indian Vegitarian cusine.We had gone on Saturday lunch time, so wanted to order a thali. Unfortunately Thali is availabe on all days except Saturdays. Cost ₹ 190/- However on Saturdays Executive thali is available for ₹ 290/-Ordered Tomato Onion Utthpam and masala dosa. Both average taste. coconut chatuny was ok. Sambar was definitely below par.Located in brand new building Resraurant is on two levels. Decor, which is also new, is the only saving grace.
