Amazing food - Idli and Masala dosa are the best! We loved the quick service as well. The only draw back we noticed was the staff(morning time) splitting the bill stating that he missed to add one item to the bill and asking for cash for that particular item, which they did to two other tables while we were there, it looked quite fishy! This could be either to fill that staffs pocket or for tax deductions! Either ways its a wrong thing to do and we chose not to entertain this and made the complete payment through digital transfer!
Little expensive. Just opposite mysore zoo.Dishes are good. Car service available
A place with a view - giraffe view. But this place is not just about the view but also the food. The taste of almost all items is so good that one can visit multiple times. When visiting Mysore zoo, this place is a must visit as well.
Must try is the Masala dosa, madhur vada n coffee
This is a must visit breakfast place when you’re in Mysuru , it is right opposite to zoo. They serve the crispiest vada here. I definitely recommend everyone to have Idly and vada combo. Masala Dosa is to another level, do not miss it. They’re also famous for Rava idly and Maddur vade. Parking can be a matter of concern if the place is too crowded.
The restaurant is located opposite to mysore zoo.The restaurant serves Chinese, north indian ,south indian dishes though but are more specialised in South dishes. The South dishes served here are mostly having high spices. So order South Indian if you like more spice in your dishes. The South indian thali may not seem good to most of the people. The price range is on the low side Seating space in good.
This place is what you need after a long stroll through the zoo. They offer quite a lot of fresh juices along with tea and coffee. They have fresh snacks in the evening such as bhajjis and wadas all at a reasonable price. Definitely worth trying.
Located just a few feet away, opposite to the main entrance of Mysore Zoo or Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, mysore. We visited the place in morning around 8:30am before going to the zoo. Place was crowded by then & we had to wait for a table for a few minutes. Luckily people were not taking much time to complete their food & we could get a table to sit. Coming to food, it was good taste wise & quality wise but on the cost side i felt it was on higher side. Many reviews on google maps say its within budget but i beg to differ. Being a tourist place, i feel they are making the most out of it. People may disagree but its my personal experience which makes me write otherwise.
Very nice perfect blended masala dosa, idle and wada, well maintained taste of coffee and tea.cleanly ness not up to the mark. A good serving staff.
A treat to evening snack lovers! Mangalore buns and onion bajji are a must eat! The service is very good. They take orders and serve to the car only. The best service I can ever find. 😁
Taste is too good, but you will get service best service for the car only... Walk-in will be ignored many times... management should look into matter...
One of the best places to eat..clean and quick service. The best part is you can sit in your car and eat...must try masale dose and Mangalore bajji
Excellent place to have Masal dosa and Vada as evening snacks
Very popular it was good sitting in the car and have breakfast
Good place for having South Indian breakfast. Sambhar(Saaru) was wonderful
Masala Dosa & Onion Bajji were good.
Very tasteful but very expensive. In fact food & beverages are VERY VERY EXPENSIVE IN MYSURU nothing is below Rs 30.4 Banana Bajji cost you Rs35 here??? Damn. But the owner of this refreshment is very friendly person
Nice breakfast. Masala dosa is awesome. But bit costly
Food is yummy price is a bit on higher side. Must try masala chai and rava idli. You wont get rava idli like this at other places in Mysore
Served cold masala dosa (not fresh), Vegetables in Veg fried rice was tooo raw + rice was not fully baked + even the executive tasted and not liked it and they refused to take it out from the bill!!!! Did not expect this from old and famous hotel like this. Disappointed!!!!
South Indian hotel. Short place. Opposite to Mysore zoo. Everyday busy hotel. Good quality food available.
Rava idli is top notch...but these ppl charge star hotel prizes...Mangaluru bond which consists of 4 bondas is 50 rs...per rava idli they charge 45 rs...Im planning to complaint in mysore consumer court...
Cool place as they serve food to your parked outside hotel... especially coffee is the best..
Too costly because of tourist spot.Normally uddinvada price is Rs. 10 to 15 anywhere but in New Mysore Refreshment cost is of one uddinvada is Rs. 25 .It is not a big hotel , But definitely a spot hotel near tourist place.Taste just above average.Too crowded because of zoo tourism .May be good for outsiders but not for local citizens of Mysuru.Any time crowd is there even in the early morning 6: 45 itself.Visitors on the way to ChamundhiHills may like to have early breakfast in the early morning. Also morning walkers may like to have Idly or coffee in the early morning. Few friends group may just visit here to have friends association. Or for the sack of some business/deal they may visit. We are not sure who will meet when for what purpose at what place !!!It is my feeling , one can try street food or tourist may visit nazarbad main road to have common food of Mysore or even to have Five Star ones.Near zoo definitely any hotel will be little costly. For instance even on Street the canejuice is Rs. 20 which is 25% more than anywhere street canejuice. It is common in any city that near tourist spot the cost will be high.So it is individual choice to like/ dislike orVisit/not visit .
This is a must-visit veg restaurant is Mysore. Fabulous masala dosas and other usual south Indian dishes. After 4.30 pm dont miss asking for Rava Idli and Bajji... Out of the world
Excellent food. Excellent service. Very reasonable.
Nice breakfast place. Lovely and tasty food. Kesari baath was pretty good.
Must try Masala dosa, bajji and coffee ☕
Good place to have breakfast.... Its located just Opp to Mysore Zoo.... Must try soft idle and vade...Best part is they do serve at the car....
Epic south Indian dishes.Must try onion bajji.Benne masala dosa.
Worst dinner I ever had 👎🏻
Third class food. Dont ever try
They make you wait for a very long time, waiters are very rudely behaved.
Best Masala Dose and Manchurian
Tastes good. One of the best tiffin refreshment in Mysore.
Best Masala Dose, set dose, rava idli in Mysore
Taste not bad,on that hotel price is up,Clean less, wash basin is not in side it is very bad.
Food is good... especially dosa varieties...
Great taste and more than anything service at his best they provide you service to car it self because they will be crowded with the customers always
Good taste coffe Tea exelent
One of the most authentic South Indian veg restaurants located just opposite the Mysore zoological park.We went to have a evening snack since we travelled from Bangalore and reached Mysore only in the evening before our music show, and we were not disappointed. We wanted to eat something light and ordered the idly, white coconut chutney and sambar it was tasty. Then came the Mysore Podi Masala Dosa and I must tell you one of the most delicious dosas Ive had in my life.Tasted the set dosa with Saagu and the Bonda dipped in soup was equally tasty, to finish our tiffen we order the filter coffee and out of the blue tried the Horlicks which was prepared with milk and dry fruits😊😋😋Was quite excited and suprised with the taste of the food and beverages and first time in my life I ve craved to have 2 dosas one after another and also want to go and eat some variety of food on my next trip to Mysore.
Extremely nice food...masala upma, set dosa, rawa idli,Mangalore idli and coffee are must have...food is at very nominal cost
I always love hot beverages like coffee and tea here
Love the location. Dosas are amazing. Do try the ghee dosas
Food was good... No second word about it...But its very expensive...
Yummy food worth the money
Taste of food is really good here but since this is near the zoo, a tourist attraction the prices are really high.
Wonderful service and food. Just opposite the zoo. Great place to relax after a marathon walk inside the zoo. Don’t miss chow chow bath. Amazing tasty. Dosa and coffee were great. I don’t think anything was bad at all. We were family of 9 people and were catered wonderfully . You may have to share the table due to rush but it is worth it.
Open butter masala dosa is goodBut chutney and sambar are bit bland
Good but, not so great and cleanness is also not so great
Absolutely love the ghee roast dosa and the coffee ☕
The snacks. In this refreshment is very delicious. Good service.
Love dosa here.. And experience eating seeing the zoo exit with giraffe scene from zoo
Ordered through swiggy..but showing menu is different and delivered food is different.Tried reaching the hotel management, but the way of response is not satisfied.
Pathetic Food. Inhospitable Staff. exorbitantly priced. Quantity served is not worth the money. Never ever order Chinese or North Indian here. They screw it up big time. Kadai Paneer was watery and not creamy. Tomato Soup tasted like a horrible Hot and Sour Soup.
Good food. But bad service
Taste and quality of the food is good, serve food very quickly. They have service to your car as well.
We ordered food what we want, finally they provide what they have, both was not matching it was wast of time.
Best chai I have had in Mysore
Delicious food
Best place till now where I had tiffin in Mysore
