I can eat tasty and filling food for almost 40% less price

Excellent food, took care of my preferences like less spicy and my family loved it. Giving 4 star only because of the room quality, which could have been better. Other gingers throughout the country have better rooms.

We stayed there for one night and it was a nightmare. Rooms were not clean, it was a cockroach breeding place. Everywhere there were cockroaches even on bed and Also on corridor..I think it’s been ages they got pest control for hotel.it was just a waste of money for us

We had a horrible stay at ginger. We were asked to move to a different room soon after we had settled in. The new room we moved to was shabby and there was a weird stink for a while. The gaps between the tiles are dark, curtain dirty. Lighting was inadequate. There were some amenities they had mentioned while booking were missing. The receptionist during check in was very unprofessional and somewhat rude. He unnecessarily commented on my wifes surname not being same as mine. Not all is bad. Food is good and delicious, reasonably priced for the quality. Luckily we had a short stay here else would have thought of moving to a different hotel.

Good for a short stay. The rooms are not big enough and even bathroom is very small. Staff service is good. Hotel locality is good. You have to go little far to purchase something. Over all you get a small room for lesser price. Restaurant below is quite costly. Taste is medium.

I stayed there for 3 days and i left my apple i pad charger in the room no 117. I called them many times but did not get positive response.

Very poor service... Service staff are not helpful at all... Rooms are small, toilet door was damaged as well as the toilet seat was broken... Though there ie a TV there are no channels available except for the boring free channels... the bed was very soft and springy, but the sheets had spot stains on it though it was washed and neatly tucked... Good water supply with 24hrs hot and cold available

We loved the place - the proximity of it with our wedding venue, the ambience, and rooms etc, what we had issues with were the processes the management subjected us to.Our requirement was simple - 15-20 rooms for one night, with late checkout. We had a bunch of online booking platforms offering rooms at 60-70% of the listed price, but they all lacked an ability to book 10+ rooms under a single name.We decided to go with Ginger’s solution for group booking via their own platform, assuming the premium would fetch us some perks in terms of guest management and final billing.We were sorely mistaken.There were absolutely no perks for using Gingers platform, and we ended up spending extra because we had 5 extra rooms booked, but couldn’t cancel in the last minute.We should’ve gone ahead with multiple bookings with online providers, and taken on the minor headache of coordination between guests, as that would’ve been a lot more economic, and easier than what the management put us through.We’d recommend the hotel, just don’t use their booking platform - you’re bound to get better deals on other providers.

Tatas enterprise with three star ratings. The hotel is safe and secure especially is you are travelling with family. The restaurent has delicious food but the menu has been cut down due to pandemic. The parking space is spacious and the staffs are professional and pleasing. They deliver food at room at the expense for just a phone call.

Rooms doesnt looks like 3 star hotel. (Twin bed ) Not cleaned properly. Looks very old. Need to maintain hygiene inorder to call the hotel as 3 star. Everywhere Check-in will be @12PM but here its @2PM. For one hour early check-in they charge 600+. Not worth the money I feel.To the corporate companies who book this hotel for your employees, please note that they cant even check their mails due to very slow internet speed. When I asked the management they told me that this is the speed they can give. its 1mbps.

As always clean rooms, great hospitality and courteous staff. Highly recommended for budget stay. But during covid-19, there canteen was closed., So could not enjoy complementary breakfast this time.

Window curtain had several stains and looked awkward. Room size was small, but ok for a quick nights stay. Car Parking was available. Restaurant inside had decent food tho bit pricey.

This place used to be a well maintained few years ago. Now its all falling apart. Beds Ok.. Bath is all unclean and with leakages. Even facilities r not up to mark.

I have been a consistent customer of Ginger Mysore and love the overall service. However, was a touch disappointed in my last visit because of the delay in service on multiple occasions.

Property is excellent for one night stay. Located in prime spot of Mysoor with minimum distance to major tourist attractions24 hr CCD is running as well as the food is fine. For a day stay the property is cheap and affordable.Mysoor Zoo , Snow Park , Mall of Mysuru all are with in a 3 KM radius.Good food hubs are also nearby with in a walkable distance . Parking is a concern as the property have limited space to accomodate all vehicles coming in to the property.Recommended for a night stay with descent amenities and affordable rates

Staying at ginger was pleasant. Nice and clean rooms. Very humble and supportive staff. Peaceful rooms. On walking distance from Palace. Some 3 km from Chamundi foothills. One can just take an auto and start the treck. Restaurant is a blessing. Nice homely food. Humble staff and always ready to serve you best food. Worth the price. Bathroom and beds good be improved. Prompt and courteous staff. On request they immediately provided a hair dryer as well.Cafe food- ala carte was pricy but yummm food.Buffet breakfast had a wide spread and very tasty food.They have ample parking, small Kashmiri boutique and ATM inside.Very close to the palace.

Its an average hotel with standard rooms and standard amenities. The linens provided in the room could be better. Basic thing such as have towel or a tissue is also not provided in the room. No iron. Breakfast is good. They have a good spread of food items on the buffet table and you can order for Dosa, omelette and coffee. In my room I experienced water logging problem in my bathroom. Very slow draining. Front desk people were courteous and helpful.

Cost paid for the hotel is not worth for the rooms that they provide. The flush inside the rooms didnt work properly. The walls painting were coming out every time inside the bathroom.Pros :Complementary breakfast had lot of varieties. The hotel is in prime location. Their travel desk is very good with affordable cost. They have small craft store with decent options available. Rooms were compact

Compared to all the other Ginger hotels Ive been to, this one is lowest on maintaining the standards. Could be because they are understaffed due to pandemic.

A night stay in ginger is always relaxing. Their rooms are well maintained. No dental kits were available. It is close to postal training center in mysore. There is a cafe coffee day outlet. Also atm counter is there in the building. King size bed with a table and chair. Through the windows i could see the chamundi hills.

Budget hotel at the centre of Mysore. Close to Mysore palace. Has a beautiful drawing of the palace in the reception. Basic and clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Hearty breakfast. Our room overlooked a beautiful exhibition centre with colorful cane lanterns.

Small rooms. Ideal for couples.I had booked the hotel for me, wife and two kids. We were told by the Ginger call centre and the hotel receiption that we will be given a queen bed and an extra one. But we were given only a bed which is a little more than queen (they call it as long size). They said I need to pay for extra bed. They denied that they had promised me complimentary extra bed. Talkedt to the manager and he finally told that hell give extra bed at half rate, once they enquire the call details to verify the promise theyll make it either free or 100% chargeable. However there is no larger room. As the given room itself had hardly any space, I didnt proceed with the order. The she behavior of the receiption staff was totally defensive.Other observations:- Rooms have become very old.- Many amenities of a 3 star hotel were missing. Toiletries were also very limited.- Common ironing space was helpful. Housekeeping staff were very good.- Bed quality was good.- Adjoining ATM and restaurant were a boon. The restaurant food was costly though.

Came by seeing brand name. Found good deal online so booked. Room are too small and bed too. It’s okay with price i got. Being a TATA they need to re-think on processing-time while check-in. Waited 20-25 mins for getting check-in done. Need to be shortened to assure customers why they select Ginger next time.

Rooms are nice. Less spacious but more than enough for a single person. If you are traveling with someone else, better you book bigger room

3 Pluses and 1minus. 1. 24 Hrs hot water is rare in this category of hotels, 2. Staffing is courteous, knowledgeable and outgoing just in case, 3.Mini shop for Mysore specialty is having a range. 4th. LINEN & towels are not like Jeans, Faded only has to be replaced.

The Hotel is at Prime Location. Near to prominent places. Quite location. The best part is the food they serve. I loved it. Kudos to TATAs for having a brand in hospitality like Ginger. Go for this whenever you visit Mysuru

Nice hotel and food is good with buffet breakfast. Though other alcarte orders are very cozy. Situated prime location and easy drive to many spots except brindavan garden.

A quick look at the photos I attached would give a clue how badly maintained this hotel is.Check-in:We reached at check-in time of 2:00 PM. We were made to wait for 1 hour before they could allot a room for us.We were given the room keys at 3 PM. To our surprise, when we went to our room with our luggages, the room cleaning was still going on. We had to wait in the corridor with luggages for another 30 minutes until the cleaning was complete.So we had to wait from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. Parents who travel with a year old baby will realize how tough this can be. To top it, the hotel staff were not at all apologetic!Room interiors:The room we booked was a Deluxe room, but the one we received was really shabby and claustrophobic.- The mini fridge did not work- AC was slow to cool and very noisy. It is a old-gen AC.- Airtel DTH worked intermittently and I had to reinsert the Airtel card in DTH often to make it work again- Toilets are in horrible shape with some broken parts- Deluxe room very small. The double bed itself occupies 75% of the room space. So there is hardly any space to wash around, or wear your clothes. How can they call this a Deluxe room?Room service:This can be a hit or miss. The overall food quality and timelines of service was good, but they goofed up with our orders.- Quick service- Food is a bit on the spicy side- Right amount of oil used, kudos to that!- Limited options- Check if you received all the items you ordered. We never received Tawa Chapathi in the combo that we ordered. Later on informing, the staff apologized and sent it later.Overall a very terrible experience. Definitely spoiled the brand Ginger for me. Wonder how many more travelers faced such problems before. This Will definitely be the last time Ill look for a Ginger hotel in my future trips. There are many other better options available in Mysore.

Stay was good, they provide unlimited buffet breakfast as well. The only problem was that room size was very small. You cant guess it by seeing the photo. Staff behavior was also nice.
