Heritage Temple - no doubt the temple is newly constructed/ renovated. But it is there since long back more than half century or even moreThe temple may be newly constructed 40 years back when I was 6 or 8 years.They do famous karaga festival once in a year with devotion and following a very strict rituals during that time.The temple main deity is Goddess Ranukamba.It also includes Lord Hanuman temple , Navagraha temple and of course the Goddess Karaga Amma temple.They too have a Tulasi Katthae even though it is not a Vaishnava temple.They also maintain a beautiful temple garden and a water well.It also included a community Hall for small functions like marriage function , birthday function or naming ceremony function etc...Only two karaga festivals in Karnataka are famous . One is Bangalore Karaga and the second one is Mysuru Karaga.Mysuru Karaga is as good as mini Mysuru Dasara Procession. The procession will go throughout the night around all the areas in old Mysore region during the festival day.
