This place is well maintained by the trust the park sort of thing around it is also nice but only thing is it is small and things are stolen like the doors of the main tomb used have gems fitted in it but the English people too it while they were leaving it is a good historical place and disserves a visit go there and I can bet you will never regret the time you spent there like if you want to encourage or support me

One of the best place to visit in the Mysore. You will learn about the history of the Tipu and can see the palaces and articles of his time.

Good.The kings of the Wodeyar dynasty set the bar high for the southern cultural capital of Mysore. Ornate palaces and the Gothic St. Philomenas Church with its 175-foot spires pack a visual punch; local institutions keep Carnatic classical music and dance in the public eye. There is no such park and when we went there we were able to see only bushes all around.

He was the eldest son of Sultan Hyder Ali of Mysore.[4] Tipu Sultan introduced a number of administrative innovations during his rule,[5] including his coinage, a new Mauludi lunisolar calendar,[6] and a new land revenue system which initiated the growth of the Mysore silk industry.[7] He expanded the iron-cased Mysorean rockets and commissioned the military manual Fathul Mujahidin, and is considered a pioneer in the use of rocket artillery.[8] He deployed the rockets against advances of British forces and their allies during the Anglo-Mysore Wars, including the Battle of Pollilur and Siege of Seringapatam. He also embarked on an ambitious economic development program that established Mysore as a major economic power, with some of the worlds highest real wages and living standards in the late 18th century.

Still not developed by the local authority MUDA. But its big and spacious. Once developed it will be a good place for a walk.

Very much history you to get to know over there and this place was the birth place for missiles by Tippy Sultan. Awesome place to visit.
