It is one of the 8 sacred places in south India. The temple is situated at the top of the hill. Carry plastics if one suffers from motion sickness and vomiting tendencies. Whole mysuru city is visible from the top of the hill with the help of a binocular fixed in the midway.

Nice place for pilgrims.it has 4 temples on the hill top. In that chamundeeswari temple is the iconic temple. The temples are old and constructed using the stones. Although a small hill, chamundi hills offer a scenic view of the mysore city. There is an aerial view point on the way of the hill. It offers a magnified view of the mysore.you can zoom and view the palace ,race course and mysore buildings through it. In chamundi hills , the prasad is laddu which is offered in counters either separately for price or for free with entry tickets. There is a godly museum in the top. They offer a spiritual speech and let you be in peace mind.
