This is very famous Mutt, since it renders lot of services to public. The management is too good. The staff is obliging n people friendly. All services for rituals, functions, Homa, etc is available. The food is very tasty.

I visit this place more often whenever I get time because Rayaru here will bring me mental peace and feeling of emotional support.

Had taken my 77 year aged father to this temple as he wanted to visit Rayara mutt..as he is suffering from serious Illness he was not able to do pradakshina and sat in a chair placed inside..the head priest starting scolding him with foul language and asked him not sit in chair..we didnt say anything and left the temple...let rayaru give the patience to this priest ..temple cleanse the soul and priests should inculcate faith among devotees..but due to these business minded priests our sanatana dharma is losing is shrine..

Im from Hospet, visited matha for 1st time, beautiful vrundavana place filled with divinity, I had privilege to do vanabhojana here which was very well performed, staff here are friendly n down to earth. Thanks a lot, Let Rayaru provide me opportunity to visit him again.. Haraye namah 🙏🙏

Worth a visit while in mysore .Very old yet well maintained abode of shri raghavendra swamy in jayalaxmipuram mysore

Very clean and well maintained. Good admin staff and very helpful. But... One thing to mention... On Thursdays after mangalarti we get thirth and mantrakshate. Along with this one archakaru dips a flower in paadodaka (holy water) and slashes on your face which may drench you. I thought of requesting archakru to just sprinkle few drops. Since I was not sure of the matha padhati I thought of remaining silent on this. I even heard some people talking ill about this practice.

A very nice temple which can be visited even on weekdays as its in a prime location. The temple is very peaceful inside and the pooja done here is good as well. They offer prasada daily as well to the devotees which is very tasty too. There is Rama lakshmana seeta and hanuman moorthy as well before Swamy raghavendra vigraha.

This matha was established in 1983 by the Udupi Pejawar matha swamiji, the gods Sri Sita, Rama, Hanuman and Lakshamana as well as the Raghavendra swamijis mrittika vrindavana were installed by Sri Sujayindra thirta (a Raghavendra matha swamiji). One can feel the graceful vibe in the premises. The walls are adorned with Tanjavore style inspired paintings depicting Raghavendra swamijis life story. The silver chariot is parked adjoining the wall to right side of the deities can be easily missed but is truly a thing of beauty.To the left of the main temple building, within the premise of a mantapa/stage like area, you have two single roomed tiny temples, one housing Lord Ganesha & another the Nava grahas (9 planetary deities) and then a Peepal/Ashwattha tree with stones of Naga devas at its trunk/roots.As soon as you enter , to your left you find taps to wash your feet as well as sink to wash hands alone. Adjoining that area is also a shop that sells basic Japa/ Pooja/Yajna amenities as well religious books.Unlike some Raghavendra mathas Ive visited, the crowd that visit here is pretty decent and well behaved, so that in case you want to meditate or chant or pray quietly to perform your personal spiritual sadhana, there are no prying eyes that invade your privacy. You can get along with your thing and achieve great satisfaction, by the virtue of very favourable atmosphere and vibes here.
