A divine temple to go to. Holds great importance historically to whole of India and regionally to people of Karnataka. It is believed that Goddess Durga (Chamundeshwari) killed Mahishasura on top of the Chamundi Hills. The spot was constructed as the Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysuru, an event that is annually celebrated at Navaratri and Mysuru Dasara. The road leading upto the temple has some beautiful scenic views and great for vloggers to make some great reels and videos. It was a great experience to visit this temple and see the temple campus which bustling with shops of various kinds.

Beautiful Temple. The temple of Godess Shri Chamunda Devi is located on a mountain and about 10km ride from the city.I had visited this place with my family. We preferred to go by auto rickshaw as it was pocket friendly. The place has ample parking and is very clean. There is a nominal fee for parking. We paid temple entrance fee of INR 100 for preferential entry to skip the long que and possibility of contacting CORONA. Temple was crowded and flow of people was not properly managed giving evidence of mismanagement. We could manage to have a sight of the goddess. There are a few eateries outside but in current situation we preferred not to eat anything from that place.

We went to Chamundeshwari Temple after visiting to Mysore Palace. It is 12 km from Mysore Palace. Roads are very good. Follow google map and you will reach to destination. We have huge parking near by temple so thats a benefit for us to roam around freely. There are 2 types of tickets here. Normal one 30rs and special one 100rs. So according to your requirement you can take ticket and enter in the temple.Opposite aide of temple you will get a place from there you can click very good and full pic of temple. Rest you can ask photographers to click. They charge 100 for 1 pic.I would recommend you guys to go and visit once.

Obviously, cant rate a temple. There are so many monkeys, so watch out for your belongings. After the visit (you can drive all the way to the top), take down the stair way. You will get some magnificent views. Also, you can spot the big Nandishwara statue along the stair way. There are several small shops where you can buy magnets, jewelry (handcrafted), etc.Toilets outside the temple are not really clean and the guy who collects money there is a cheat (collects extra money to what was mentioned).

Had been here on 6th of March the Shri chamundeshwari Mata temple is near from Mysore its just 13km distance. You can go by public transport or cab taxi ... I suggest you to go public transport city bus.. wich you get every 5 minutes from Mysore city bus stand, or taxi also a good option they charge 200 Rs For dropping.. As bus charging only 30 Rs,.. and beware of the Taxi driver.. the good one. Will tell you the regular price, but the Froud they ask..400rs so carefull. After reaching there. You need the walk 300mtr towards the temple, they you have leave your footwear to the stand.. wich is good option from management. Later on you have to stand in Q for the Pray (Darshan of Mata) the best time is morning or evening.. afternoon its too rush.. specialy weekends.. and check with times.. its get close. After 2pm to till 3.30pm.. so try to go early.. the temple is on hills you can see all Mysore from there..Lovely peace ☮️ full place. With blessings of Mata.. Kindly go and visit..we love it.. The temple is very clean and well organised, it has a very big parking. There are some small restaurants & juice shop near by, one can reach the hill top through steps or by bike/car/bus. Morning is the best time to visit Temple and night we can see the Mysore aerial view that glitters. But the security people inside the temple should behave with little bit of humanity to pilgrims (visitors). People do travel 100s of kilometers to see the goddess but barley just a second of view will get and that too the guards pushes away. The temple management should take some responsibility and allow the visitors to just see the God for at least 20-30 seconds, thats what we all ask for.Thank you in advance if the temple reads it.Theres a lot to tell about this place, but Ill keep it very simple, this is one of the best place ever to visit and a very spiritual place as well.Mind will be full of peace at once we goes inside the temple
