A good hotel for get together and rooms are available. Restaurants are there on the ground floor and also on the roof top. Parking is available in the basement and on first floor by going around the hotel.

I would rate this place a full 5.0Or rather 4.75 , even though there were a few minor flaws. The rooms are large and spacious and have windows that have a view of open spaces. There is a large parking lot behind the hotel. This hotel can be accessed from two different roads and that makes it convenient. Two restaurant inside and especially the rooftop one serves good food at reasonable prices and also offers a decent view of the Mysore palace. The lobby is big, good in decor and the reception services were excellent. The interiors reflect a modern decor adorned with chandeliers and pleasant lighting.Now to mention the few flaws that I noticed. The upper floor windows don’t have a safety rail and there is a safety hazard of fall in case you are tipsy or have kids around. This is a safety issue! And the other one is that you get hot water only for a few hours each day. This is not something expected from a four star rated property. The bathroom are not refurbished and have leaky faucets. Cleanliness and housekeeping is good but not the best.

The worst place to stay. Unfriendly hospitality no service elevator. Waited for 15 minutes to access elevator. Roof top restaurant service is pathetic. Served chicken starter left from other table. Best to eat at prison canteen.

I stayed in this hotel on December 2k19with my frnds (school long )tour . The interior hotel is good. Clean and tidy rooms .nice food but the staaf is very very very bad😕😕😕😖 they are not polite .in the teception i was wating for the bus with my frnda and teachers i took the remote of tv and change the channel to watch cricket cause desire of all students and sir but the staff memeber change again and said let it be mysir ask again to change but come up with negative response very bad staff.

A memorable experience!!The stay was good, the ambience was also great since it is near to the Palace!!but the staffs respects and values only the persons wearing Gucci and LV!😅(each day i had to go near reception and take the wifi login card, everyday i had to call and ask for the toothpaste, every day i had to ask to release hot water....!! uff, well thats all i can type..)

Food was good, but the front office and stay experience was not that good. They charged us for ac room and the ac was not working for the full day, even after informing the front office they did nothing.

Hotel interior was nice but the staff was really rude! Dint like it! 😑 My brother ordered for a bottle of water in the night & it dint reach his room even in 30 mins!! We ordered for shzwan friend rice & paneer chilly & few pizzas from dominos. Dominos pizza reached us in 30 mins but this restaurants items dint reach us even in 1 hour!! 😱😱😱😑😑😑

Comfortable stay even for Europeans and really clean. Have to say that if I read the reviews. It can be noisy but I hadnt any hotel in india there it was quiet like in a church.Our toilett flush broke and after 15 mins they changed it. Perfect.The restaurant is nice too and they offer good food.Smoking allowed and its a nice rooftop view.

Went to the restaurant at the roof top .Foreing travellers, be advise the place is a good roof top smoker spot. So you can smoke drink, eat and enjoy the view all in the same place. Staff courteous.Recommended

I went to this place only for lunch at the restaurant. It was recommended by the autoriksha guy we hired. May be he will get some commission there. The restaurant was spacious and clean. Our food bill was cheaper than I expected. We ordered a platter, was very cheap compared to other restaurants of similar setup. Quantity was also good. I saw few foreigners too, could be recommended by the autoriksha guys. Overall its nice

The hotel is well built right on the main road and is located at the city centre is nearby palace, zoo. The food is great with veg and non veg delicacies. Even they have a bar where you can bring your own bottles. The reception is nice. It is a very good place for a small party for friends or relatives. A try must be given to the place.

Decent place. . Not too fancy not too sober . . Good ambient setting. . Clean and good food. Try the Pepper fry items and the Dal khichidi and Palak Rice are recommended.

Visiting Mysore as a tourist? Then, I am sure visiting Mysore palace will be among your top priority. In that case, Hotel The President is very convenient as its near Mysore palace. Walkable distance only. We had booked three rooms and were pretty good. The only issue we faced was regarding the TV channels. While the TV in one of the rooms had almost all the channels (including Malayalam), the other rooms just had Kannada channels. Complimentary breakfast was good with many options.

Please ensure you ask them to switch on AC in advance. The room took 1.5 hrs to go from 32 to 25℃ and still was hot. Everything you need to ask for ie towels , dental kit , room freshener . The beds are super small queen size. If travelling with kids ensure to get an extra bed because you wont be able to fit.

Last week I stayed for 2 nights with my family , and the services they have provided was amazing.It is situated nearby Bus Stand. Most of the site seeing locations like Zoo, Palace, Church etc are very close to this hotel. They have multiple restaurants having delicious food with great ambiance. The entire hotel is very neat and clean including the bathrooms. Overall it is worth for money. One of the biggest advantages is early check-in late check-out depends on the room availability.

A decent and comfortable lighting and building where many functions are arranged in different halls Eighther daily or on a weekly basis.It even has a bar inside and lodging too...The price is moderate high and suitable for premium economy people around the globe...

The hotel is very well located and the staff are courteous and friendly. The executive room was recently renovated and hence in good condition. Deluxe rooms are begging for renovation. The sofas and walls were dirty. Beds were good and linen was clean. The hotel has only buffet breakfast at ₹250 per head, which I feel is too much since there is no other option to have breakfast in the hotel. Just to check four adults out of six went out for breakfast and paid ₹240 for six dosas whereas two went down for breakfast which was part of the package found that most items was finished by a larger group which had checked out earlier leaving hardly any choice in the buffet.

We booked 3 rooms, Poor service .. Average food quality in dinner and breakfast . Telephone(Intercom) is not working and TV remote is not working in my room. We have ordered coffee @7am and they said kitchen will open @7:30am, finally they bought coffee @8:30am.. Lot of power fluctuations and sometimes lift will not work. A/C remote is not functioning properly.. This is my overall experience during my stay

One of the best hotel in Mysore for the parties /events, few days back ,I had my reception party , quality of food and serive was excellent. One of my relative had lost her belongings(Gold chain ), I really appreciate the hole team , they tried there best to find out and handover to us .

Short tempered staff and no courtesy. They said outside food is not allowed but were unable to provide pizza for children. I had a guest visiting in the hotel but they rudely said if we would eat dinner in room then he must accommodate in the hotel. Ultimately we had to book a room. Pathetic service

4 Stars for the rooms and bathroom, seems these were recently made up. 5 Stars denied for room as they have a very unfriendly hot water policy. hot water in bathroom is said to be available only between 5 to 11 am and 5 to 11 pm, even within that timeslot, hot water plays truant in the evenings. Location of hotel and car parking get 5 stars, there is no other hotel in the vicinity that have inside car parking for about 20 cars! Room service and housekeeping services were good. Breakfast was well managed, but the sore point was that they were hesitant to make omlettes and dosas to order which turns many off. Restaurant services were just ok, with no enough waiters and taking long time to deliver ala-carte orders. Overall an average-to-good experience for the tariff of the hotel. Not excellent.

Room, food& location wise it was really good. the only problem which I faced was related to room service. I ordered twice and both the time waiter did not knock the door and came inside the room. Also would like to appreciate the hotel as I booked this hotel at the last minute boz my previous booking was cancelled by the hotelier.

Hotel President is located very next to the KSRTC bus stand and near to railway station too. The premises are neat and decent. Rooms are neat but the toilets looks bit old, but good for purpose. Complementary break fast is also nice and delicious. I had dinner here with prawns, which is good in quality, taste, and freshness. Over all, I like this hotel for a budget stay and recommend to all.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. A fare review:Checkin: Needs a lot of improvement here. When I checked in there was no one looking professional to take care of my check in. Need a better person with good smile at the front door to invite new guest. The person who checked me in took me to the room, switched on lights and just went away like a lightning. After he went I found that AC(was from the last generation and there was a paper stuck to the swing to make it not fall) was not working, cable not working, room required brooking, needed better towels in bathroom, toilet had stains etc. Almost ruined my vacation.Walked upto the reception and told them the complaint, especially the AC when switching on blows dust into your room and a dirty smell as it was not used for the 2 yrs or so. I told them to please provide a different room. After a couple of calls, this is done. Switched from room 221 to 218. 218 was a much cleaner room in better condition. There was hair on the floor, which upon request was broomed. Flush was not working and fixed in the evening. Except bed, all furnitures require a replacement.Food and service: For all the complaints above, the restaurant scores in restaurant and in room dining service. The housekeeping should learn from their counterpart on hardwork and understanding the customers mood and requirements. I dont have names but the person(lady and young chap) who looks after the lunch and dinner are very good. You never feel shy of asking them anything. The senior person in the restaurant who takes orders, is not so accustomed to talking to customer, but he has good folks to run around and compensate.Location: Prime location. All it needs is a walk or a auto care of 50 RS to all local spots.

Cons:Hotel was good from reception till elevator.Elevator was smelling of burning coul from the exhaust fan.corridors were showing signs of humidity damage at the bottom edge.Room was also smelling bad, like there was too much humidity. When we complained, they gave weird reasons like its raining outside last 2 days or they just painted all the rooms a week earlier...how any of this will effect inside a a/c room?Also a/c controls were past there estimated life, somehow working.Pros:Staff was very well mannered and understanding nature.Restaurant was small, but food (including free breakfast) was tasty and in good proportions.I wouldnt suggest anyone to book long stay in this hotel, as it has grown old and shows clear signs of it.

On a whole a good hotel. food is good and value for money. location is in the heart of the city. rooms are clean but the furniture in the rooms need a facelift. also the bathrooms need to be maintained better. the service is very slow which is frustrating. first hotel I came cross which do not have sufficient towels for the guests and you have to wait for one night to get a few towels!apart from these few hiccups over all good stay and experience. would recommend it to others.

We stayed for just a night at the President on 17th Sep 2016 on our way to Wayanad from Hyderabad, hence we were just looking for a basic place to stay for the night, but I must say the hotel lived up to more than what we expected. Very warm and courteous staff, efficient as well. Great food, both for dinner as well as breakfast. Absolutely neat, clean and spacious room. Safe and secure car parking space in the basement with a 24 hrs watchman. Just because the hotel had a very centralised location, we ended catching a movie at DRC after a 13 hour drive from Hyderabad and also St.Philomenas church and the Maharajas palace the next morning before checkout. The palace is just a 12 mins walk from the Hotel. An absolute value for money and a nice comfortable stay.

It is a value for money hotel, we were a group of 8 people and stayed for one night. All the major attractions in Mysore are very close. the hotel is very well maintained and clean. the staff was also courteous.

Its a good hotel located to near to Mysore palace and also near to Mysore bus station. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy. If you are tight budget, then you can go to this hotel. They also provide the morning breakfast buffet mostly included in your room charges. You can get almost all type of food from South India to North India.

If we talk about staying in this hotel, its the best but in case of restaurant its not that good. The service is very poor at restaurants. I ordered something and got something, but if you are staying in this hotel it is the best choice.

Guys, dont book blindly by just looking at the pictures posted by the hotel or some promoter. The building is really nice if you look at it from outside but It has got conjusted rooms, not maintained wash rooms and the toilets. Worst of all is that the hotel staff is not apologetic about the poor services. The only positive thing was the location and the wifi but I am pretty sure there are better properties around for this price in Mysore.What I am saying is just do some research before booking this property. In fact you have some good properties of Oyo closeby, I would say within a radius of 1km from the market and the palace.

1 There is no process to welcome or exit the guest...2 breakfast option are not so great, I have taken fruit and coffee since the dining utensils are not properly cleaned they have changed the colour...3 Rooms are not maintained properly... Washbasin drainage was blocked...4 No sufficient light in room...5 When we enter in hotel found full darkness, glass window are cover with curtains and no sufficient light is available reception lobby so, that warm feeling is missing.6 While closing door we have to press inside tab... With Key we can not lock the door.7 staffs are not professional, E.g while checking breakfast menu Hotel waiter has come in between and without telling or asking anything; literally I have to move from that place to give him space... He could have told me to move...Hence I m giving 1 star, This is my personal experience and view hence may differ from other.
