This alternative is bad. Initially it was told that the cost would be half of first teak which was ₹4000 per CFT. CFT is cubic feet. But after we recieved the quotation it turned out to be ₹3300 per CFT. So we ended up stopping after the first consignment.Now coming to the quality of the product. Even though on an environmental perspective its a good choice, the material is brittle, its hollow and screws dont sit well if you use some heavy shutters and doors. The windows frames finishes are substandard and the craftsmanship is substandard. The rods are substandard and not what was said which was square bright rods.So on the whole it was a terrible experience and we agreed initially as we had not searched the market completely. Sal wood which is ₹1600 per CFT with a good carpainter will yield much much better results.This price does not warrent its quality.Maybe the experience is different for others but for us it was absolutely waste of money.
