Try to come by 9:30 am because it could take 3 hours to visit and they close up at 12:30. The temple was nice and they gave tasty curd rice prasad. The museum was 4 floors of displays and very well done, thousands of items to see. The bird area was sad because of the small cages and screaming birds displaying traumatized behavior. The Bonsai garden was very peaceful and impressive.

The Ashram is divine place ! For the quest inside a person, this is solitude and answer ! No words can describe the place ! Beautiful and exceptional ! For the devotees ! For non-devotee, it has a lot of visitor pockets to explore ! For example, Shukavana, Bonsai Garden, Viswam Museum....for a dedicated visitor, to explore something new ! Lot more to do ! There are two cafes for the visitors ! Request every visitor to preserve the place and their memories with it !

The temple of Hanuman in the premises created a Guinness world record by chanting Hanuman chalisa , there is a shukha vana means a bird sanctuary, bonsai tree garden with different bonsai tree, museum with different type of lord Ganesh and vintage cars, nadaswara mantapam for conducting programs and musical conserts and lord datta atreya and lord Shiva temple and other end we have lord Venkateswa Swamy temple and bhuvaraha swamy temple and lords pond where they perform teppotsava to get a peaceful mind with flavour of Divinity its a recommended destination.

Experienced Bonsai garden at this place almost 11 yrs ago, Parrot park is not established that time. Visited this place recently again with kids to explore the huge collection of Parrots from all over the world. Experienced a talking Parrot here. Kids enjoy ed this place. For almost each category of parrot Labelled with details of them - Species name, Nick name, country/region, Life span etc. We cannot take photographs inside this place, but at they have designated place to take photos of your family with trained Parrots by them and you can pay to get those printed copies. Pay additional to get the soft copies.

Never miss this place if you are visiting Mysore with family. It has bonsai garden, lord Venkateswara temple, Datta mandira n many more. You have to come early in morning so that you can walk through whole ashrama n I think one whole day is needed to look at each n every thing inside. A must visit place.The timings is 9:30 to 12:30pm and again from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Entry fee is Rs 20 per head.
