Lovely homestay on the foothills of Chamundi and very close to Mysore city. The hosts were wonderful and the food served is delicious and home cooked. The larger property is set up like a dream garden. Definitely coming back on our next trip to mysore.

One of the lovely homestays with the Chamundi Hills right behind, we loved the peaceful location as much as the home itself. There are four rooms, each with an attached bath and a common verandah facing the garden. The rooms have a clean decor with a writing table and chair, a closet and an electric kettle with teabags, coffee, sugar and powdered milk sachets. Enjoying the blooms and the birds from the hammock and the swing was our favourite pastime. The homestay serves breakfast that is included in the tariff. Dinner is charged separately and they dont serve lunch. Theres enough place to walk around while enjoying nature.

This is a quaint get away in Mysore. If youre looking for some peace, you must visit Gitanjali! The host, Yamuna is amazing and will make sure you feel welcome and have a good time. Love love love

Lovely place to unwind! Welcoming hosts and a very soothing ambience

A paradise with warm hosts. We spent 2 nights there. Started with little unsettling fear ( with everything going around due to COVID) but were put at ease the moment we arrived. Enjoyed every moment. They strived very much to manage and ensure a great experience in spite of having a lean staff. Simple and tasty food during these times was a treat. Ms. Yamuna was always around checking if we needed anything. This review wont be complete without the 2 lovely canines Omar and Pega. My kids loved their company and overall turned out to be a well needed peaceful change. Plan to visit again very soon and many more times to follow.

Gitanjali Homestay is a wonderful place to escape the city and relax! Yamuna and her daughter Kaveri are amazing hosts! We had the best time and will be definitely going back!

This homestay, like its name Gitanjali is a haven for peace , nature filled with music , alongwith an organic way of life . This is an island in the middle of modern day chaos , reminding you how nature can heal your stress of city life. Our whole family , Thank you for providing us a safe and hygenic stay. Its was like our 2nd home complete with the adorable pets , lovely come cooked food and not to mention the organic produce we got to take back home. Hope to see you soon !!

Step back in time .The property is situated well out of Mysore and set in a private exquisite garden .Rooms are large and well appointed.The dinner was excellent and the use oflocal ingredients even down to the coconut oil made at the residents makes this home a must stay.Enjoyable evening in the company of the owner made it even more specail.S

Wonderful little resort. Absolutely quiet location in a very nice garden. Very friendly staff who fulfilled all your wishes. Super good kitchen which all dishes freshly prepared. Coffee from our own coffee plantation. Highly recommended.
