We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.Location of this place is away from the city hustle and makes it a peaceful location.The campus is pretty big and very well kept.Rooms are very good, spacious. The view from the balcony opening in front of the water body gives you a relaxing vibe immediately.Toilets are big but it does show its age.Restaurant in the campus is very good but the service is on the slower side.I would love to visit this property once again and probably stay a little longer as well.

Can do much better ...Food is good and service at restaurant good.Front office needs better improvement.Nobody at lobby to receive our luggage , we need to help ourselves.We had asked for car cleaning . Not done .Morning breakfast service is extremely poor.Staff was busy looking at his mobile apps.They dont even respond to our call.

The food at windflower is exceptional! Ambience was like a candle light dinner..the food was very tasty and well prepared and u can chose among many menu options... We loved the service at the place and the staffs are friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.

We went to The Windflower for a weekend getaway. It was a beautiful experience with all the flora and fauna within the resort. It surely did rain everyday, but we wanted to stay in... so it worked out pretty well. Don’t forget to check out the spa and the restaurant, if planning to just relax in the resort (which ideally should be the way to go, with the pandemic situation). The room services is great and the staff is polite. Surely will be visiting again soon.

It was lockdown, and the fear of the third wave starting got us to book a resort for a couple of days for our staycation.Windflower was something we always had planned for but somehow was always booked. Another criteria was with all swimming pools closed, we were looking for a personal pool, but places like Evolve were super expensive. Finally came across windflower suite with small pools. With weekends booked, decided to go on weekdays.Booked a junior suite with a small pool and on reaching we found the basin in the bathroom leaking (minor issue) but the pool stinking. When we spoke to the reception, they immediately told us to go for lunch while they fix the issue. Post the lunch they told us they have upgraded to the Villa. The room was huge with a bar area, seating lounge, huge bedroom, bigger pool and a massage chair. Loved it.The restaurant Le Olive Garden was spacious, open and well kept. They had an extensive menu, and we ordered Chinese the first day. Prices on the higher side but compensated by huge portions and great taste.Over the next 2 days, we lazed around, stayed immersed in the pool, ordered housekeeping, got massages and just walked around the resort. We even stepped out to go to the zoo.All in all, we had a great time, well maintained resort, great food, close to palace and zoo, great service. I gave the the extra star for the service provided by the resort staff. They were very courteous, accomodating and friendly. Definitely worth going and would go back for a visit again.

Starting from Front office : no one was wearing mask properly . Masks were below the face - new normal !FnB Service was very slow .Housekeeping :We were on triple occupancy but amenities were placed for double occupancy . Amenities like toilet roll , face towel had to be asked repeatedly .Iron was part of amenities but was not given . Bathroom slippers was also not placed .When asked for green tea sachets they mentioned it’s not part of amenities . However on calling reception it was sent across . Here for everything you need to ask and it’s not placed by default !Food production : only department which was good in terms of standards ! All food were really good in taste .Spa : two of us took spa therapy . Therapist Rekha was too good and did her job in an amazing way.she guided on all do’S and don’t post a therapy which really helped .However another therapist Reshma didnot share the basics with my aunt and she faced health issues later on ! So it seems basic training was lacking !Overall rating 3 for Rekha , the good food and the ambience !Last but not the least property is lovely but it’s upkeep is not done at all properly ! Service lags ! Pl plan accordingly !

One of the nice options for weekend gateway in Mysore ..If you want stay in calm and pleasant place with all the services, this resort needs to be considered. Very nice cottages with a beautiful balcony where ducks are roaming around. Restaurant and Spa were additional positive things to this resort. Definitely everyone will enjoy the stay with their care and service....About the restaurant,...Le olive restaurant located inside the windflower resort and spa.....Its an excellent hotel located at the outskirts of Mysore close to the famous Chamundi hill. It provides a calm, serene atmosphere with plenty of greenery around it. The food is delicious and has variety. Its well-maintained and the staff are well-mannered. Although not far from the heart of the city, its isolated to some extent. Its ok if we go by car/ bus, but may be risky to travel by two wheelers during night.....The ambience here is great and so is the service.......

Stay is amazing. Food is yum! But they have a serious issue with flies all over the restaurant. Impossible to have lunch or breakfast.Cant believe a resort of such a high calibre cannot solve such a simple issue.Overall: i would love to visit the place again for everything else!!

Beautiful Resort. Booked a premier suite, air conditioned, well maintained, excellent room service. Breakfast is free with room and divinely excellent. Food is high quality, worth the price.

It is a good weekend getaway destination near Mysore. We enjoyed our stay and spa experience. Staff is helpful and courteous. Outdoor and indoor activities are minimal. Food is good at the restaurant attached with resort.

Resort is great. coming here for a 2nd time. major flaws1. there were rats in our rooms, making noises the whole night. even stole our food!2. bathroom sink was leaking in our premier room. the staff fixed it eventually.3. there was no fridge when we entered, they got that too later.4. some electrical points arent working. not yet fixed.it was average than the last time. the restaurant was a great experience by the way.

A very nice and wonderful experience. But the utensils after served to rooms are left outside the respective rooms. The leftover food likely to be tasted by stray dogs and cats which is not very well appreciated. They need to be removed immediately. Hope this will be taken note off.

Stayed for a night and it was good.What we liked:- Room is neat and property is well maintained and lush with greenery and very peaceful inspite of being located near the city center- Breakfast was very tasty and the service during breakfast was very prompt and courteous. Their masala dosa is extremely tasty!What we didn’t like:- In room service isn’t up to the mark. The folks who managed the order didn’t have a clue and need better training. They delivered the food after an hour while we made an early order at 630pm and served the beverages 30 mins after delivering the food!- Whatever we ordered in room wasn’t tasty either. The biriyani was over cooked and lacked flavour. Starters had become cold and soggy due to the wait.

Very good resort... restaurant is good.. had evening snacks..very clean and the staff of the restaurant are vaccinated.. maintaining covid protocols. no much crowd on weekdays. weekends are full

The place needs some renovation as the wooden planks were loosely fit. Need to confirm the sanitisation as no sign indicators were used. Otherwise it is good.

The resort is very charming. the only issue was the location. as maps show completely different location. its a kilometer more than the location in maps.the ambience. rooms. food. but not stroller friendly. if you have a kid who needs a stroller then you better be ready to do some cardio.

Had been visited twice.. service was worst they make us to wait for every order I never suggest anyone to visit there.. food was good but waiters was horrible 😤

The food here was good so we planned our stay there. We are writing this review based on our experience trying to book rooms. Staff are ignorant about the calls - disconnecting multiple times and then sends a message later saying contact us on WhatsApp, when texted there is no response inspite their status being online and doesn’t answer the calls on WhatsApp either. Finally booked else where.

Good Property, but make sure you choose the right room categoryGood property at the foothills of chamundi hills. Lovely view, with a lot of greenary inside the property. The breakfast spread is decent and food in general is good and reasonably priced. Also, there are loads of ducks who keep moving around and a Cockatoo which says Hello or Hi when people pass it by.Coming to the stay part, I had booked a room in the Courtyard category. Although the rooms are big, but dontt have good ventilation. The ACs also dont work properly. Moreover, the place outside the rooms get filled with mosquitoes in the evening and hence, its impossible to sit and relax outside the rooms post evenings.It appears that this section was not originally a part of the property and thus, one has to walk a long way to reach there.I would recommend getting the main category rooms; Studio, Premium Studio or Villas for a much better experience.

Hmm, its been mixed experience. First the network is bad here so finding the resort was cumbersome (vodafone users). They have no welcome drink and if youve booked courtyard room your in for a marathon!! I mean it, your pushed to one of the ends of the resort and everytime you want to use facilities or even breakfast youll have to take a good stroll. The Courtyard section is a box on its own and we were only people there so little awkward however its has its perks as well. The surrounding is not clean due to nature challenge but still you would expect them to clean. we had a bad experience as we saw our door unlocked as we returned to our room (yes, I had locked our room but had told the housekeeping to clean before we return). We had nothing missing as far as I could see and let the reception know about this, he apologized and I told them to give feedback and to remain cautious as here its very easy for insects and few creatures to enter as its in midst of nature and we had a kid.The room is extra spacious for me, wife and a kid. The swimming pool was not accessable due to govt order, other indoor games are poor, pool table was sealed for maintenance, only other option is mini table tennis and miniature golf put. outdoor you have basketball but no court but just try some hoops. cricket no ground but just a stage to use which Id very small for any game. They have badminton here again the net is from decathalon. overall outdoor is atleast ok but Indoor is too bad.Breakfast - Not upto 4 star hotel. Again since its open place to have breakfast, housefly welcomes and eats most of your food. The normal south indian dish is okay except bisibele bath. Sausage is right out of the packet so nothing special, all Dosa batter seemed old since dosa texture was not good, taste was not even like normal hotel. Vada, bonda, mixed veg, potato wedges, were ok. Mexican chicken curry was okay as well as most of the time I used this for sandwitch that I put together. juice is standard but milkshake is stored without ice and you could smell the stetch of the milk once you flip it open, the cap was black in colour which means they would have not washed it atleast for days so I skipped it for both days (checked both days and same container ), wanted to complain but I had a kid who kept me busy.the staff are good and helpful.out checkout was at 11 but they disabled out key by 10 am which made no sense to me (not sure if this is market std), we had to wait till they sent one of their staff with new key and warned us that it will not open again so we got the point and checked out.So overall I would not come here again.

They had no hot water, rooms are very dirty and dusty. From each of our rooms came a very distinct and disgusting smell. The WiFi was also terrible so it made staying her more boring and bad. It is not worth the price. I will never come back due to my bad experience in this hotel.

Hotel and staff were good but the place was bit off. Theres nothing much to do within the premises. Food was ok. They gave us a surprise by getting a cake for our kids birthday. We loved the gesture. Thank you.Pandemic for a year can screw the best of places. Hope they get more guests soon and rooms and the place can become more lively.

We stopped over here for lunch when we went for a drive to Mysore. This place is perfect to spend a lazy afternoon with delicious food and great ambience.

The location is amazing and the staff are very courteous. The rooms however are not very well maintained (may be the after effect of lock down?). My room had broken chair in the balcony, and a broken door lock. Also the rooms are extraordinarily huge and lacks function. May be a split living and bedroom would have been nicer. The food however is exceptionally good. Great buffet spread for breakfast and an amazing dinner menu.

Terrific , beautiful, serene and picturesque place 😍Our stay was so good and the room was extremely comfortable. Please book your next weekend getaway here, away from the commotion and chaos of the busy city life.The prices are pretty reasonable. There were 3 of us who paid 1892 each for the room , total cost of room including morning buffet breakfast = 5676.The staff and management are also very very nice and friendly. The only small issue that I felt was when in the evening, for dinner, we requested for 3 plates and cutlery and it took them about 1 hour to send it to our rooms which made the experience a bit bad considering that we had to call them severalTimes in that one hour to get our plates.Other than that, I just loved the experience here. Please do yourselves a huge favour and go to this specific resort in Mysuru.Even the pictures cannot capture the beauty this place emits.

A good destination for a family getaway, we enjoyed our 3 days stay here, Courteous staff and beautiful property. Need a bit of maintenance, some fittings are getting old and probably needs replacements, some upkeep on the property is due. You can however plan your vacation here, Will not disappoint

Good place to stay ... its well maintained

Expensive stay. Though the location is awesome, the property is well maintained but the rooms/villas are not so well maintained for the price they charge. Bathrooms doors, main doors are not in working condition in both the rooms i stayed (suit room plus junior villa #42 and #43). AC is also not working. Bathroom is the Spa is just in poor condition/really pathetic.The positive points are Restuarant, food, service, ambience, hospitality.

As always The Windflower Resort is clean & maintained. Good experience altogether. I visited for the 3rd time. The property is huge with a nice restaurant.

The stay was very unpleasant.They have solar water heater but during rainy season they don’t have an alternative option and we had to bath in cold water.They don’t have toothpaste brush shower cap etc kept in the bathroom. Really poor In service.

A good weekend getaway. Courteous staff. They are following the COVID safety protocol.The place is tucked away from the hustle bustle yet is still within comfortable proximity to the major attractions.

This was my second visit at the Mysore property. The maintenance of the rooms could be looked into. Our room was dusty, damp roof with moulds and main door that wouldnt lock properly.The rooms are very spacious and good for family with kids.The resort is located at the foothills, so it was convenient to drive up the hill or visit restaurants and other places.- Staff were courteous- Apart from the rooms, the rest of the property is maintained well. It is a calm and peaceful place to relax over the weekend.- Breakfast spread was decent. Should make it mandatory for guests to wear their masks while taking food from the buffet.- Le Olive restaurant serves good food, but service was extremely slow on the day we visited (waited for 30mins for starters to be served). The staff was quick to apologise for it.

A Great Ambience to stayLooking forward to stay

Right now still in Wildflower. My entire family is fed up with this so called tourist place. Rooms are stinking. Service is horrendous. From 6 am we have been asking for hit water to bath and still no hot water. Small children have to take bath in cold water in these conditions. Reception people just dont bother to respond. Never in our lives, would we dare come here again.

Normally I will not be so harsh on rating.Had booked windflower which is away from city keeping in mind safety of my family and expected a hygienic room in todays pandemic condition.Was shocked to see hairs on pillow and bed and had to call almost 3 times for someone to attend and change the linen.Finally the house keeping staff comes and checks and advises to change the room but risking the same I insist they change the linen in the same room .Another surprise when he replies that they were running full the previous day and had no stock of fresh bedsheets or pillow covers.....however not sure he manages to get new bedsheet but had to manage with the same dirty pillow.Not sure if the management is doing an audit of safety in all rooms....I almost waited for a week before posting this review since had expected at least a courtesy call from the management which never happened and I believe they are not serious about the safety standards.Hopefully this feedback on a public platform might make them serious.

Amazing place to relax and spend the weekend

We had visited this place during Diwali times with a bunch of friends.The ambience is great and actually pleasing!Coming to the food, we had ordered mostly Italian cuisines which I found was super!The Service was also upto the mark.The only concern during that time was that the place was crowded, so the waiting time was higher than expected!

The place looks nice however they really have to do something about insects and mosquitos!! My son is now covered with over 25 insect and mosquito bites!This experience in itself is a dampner especially if you have a kid with you.I wouldn’t recommend this place ..

Not the greatest, rooms need updating of the other facilities and amenities are all out dated and broken. The restaurant is the only updated section of the resort. Giving 2 stars for the good service, that is the only highlight here... very nice people who work here.

Resort is good. Food is good, but horrible service. Only rotis were given, after sometime gravy was provided. They were serving for other tables, but not for our table. Finger bowls were being given to other tables, but not for us. Complaining to the resort manager is of no use. Not worth visiting and stay.

Worst experience!!!The resort boasts to be one of the best in Mysore.Really surprised how can it be1. The shower control was so so horrible that suddenly the temperature of the water changes . My two year old almost got burnt . When complained i was given a lesson on how to operate .only after showing the demo the guy agreed to report .2. We explicitly told that there are two babies hence we need sufficient food quantity. Yet they got food sufficient only for one and when we ordered again immediately we got it after almost one hour by that time kids were so tired that thy slept without eating properly.3. We asked for milk for babies and even informed the quantity needed still thy bought us less and when we tried to call to tell its less no one answered and couldnt find anyone when tried to go around the resort. Same thing in morning we were promised for milk at 6.30 am and we got only after 7 am that too after following up and still less quantity4. When we called the staff to clean the room first they dint even bother to turn up later after making few more calls one did and he just left the left over bone on the floor and left again we called asking to clean properly again no reply ,later we only picked up since there were babies walking around.5. From 11 pm -7am no one attends the call and even if you go in search of them youll not find even a single person to address any emergency situation. Even in between of you call up and ask for something you need to keep following up till the work is ok ok so done sometimes we even gave up after asking so many times.6. The waiters/service people just come inside the room and leave with doors open . No basic courtesy at all we need to get up and shut the doors7. Time sense is horrrrribbbbellllleee. Thy said 5 mins and then nothing need to be repeatedly keep calling.We pay so much and book high end rooms to have the best comfort for babies and ourselves and expect holidays to be happy and memorable .Thanks to this resort we spent the whole time in worry and anxiety.Except the consultant who was present in that property we dint find anyone who would smile back and be courteous .

Its currently 3 am and I am currently staying here and booked for 2 days... However there is no power in our room for last 2 hours and there is no one in reception I can complain to... I have been trying to call reception and room services for last 1 hour... Horrible service... Will never come back here nor would I recommend anyone to stay...

Everything is very good here but one thing I didnt like is the time they take to bring your order.

Just right back left the so called Wildflower. My entire family is fed up with the hotel. If I have to mention some - rooms are stinking, got only two used towels for bath, Service and Reception staff are horrible. Booked a room for 3 people and the staff are facing problem to provide an extra bed at midnight even after knowing that we have to check out early in morning. The bed structure was soo uncomfortable that at night anybody can fall from it. There was no hot water facility, we had to take bath in cold water in these conditions. Reception people just dont bother to respond. Never in our lives, would we dare come here again.

Very good ambience and a nice place for dinner. Here we are not restricted to go near pool like in any other resorts, we can have a view of exterior resort which is very beautiful.

I went to Windflower Mysore with family first time during the pandemic.Well to be very honest, I was little disappointed with with the safety precautions and the condition of the resort. I have visited the Windflower property of Bandipur, Bangalore, Pondicherry, but this was the least maintained and smallest of them all.The safety measures are average, you have to go to the restaurant for all meals. No room service. Negligence in temperature check, etc etc. I found many loop holes in the arrangement and safety measures.Scenic beauty is good.

Nice and serene quiet resort with big rooms at the foot hills of Chamundi Temple. The ambience and surrounding is close to nature and is the ideal place to relax. The talking parrot and the Ducks add to the surrounding and the small hidden swimming pool is unique in itself. Wish they had a Gym which is missing. Apparently, it is an old property and the Service needs to be improved. Overall a nice place and value for moneySpecial mention of the restaurant which is a vibrant place with a multi cuisine menu

The best resort in Mysuru. Beautiful ambience and great rooms. Located next to a gold course, you wont see any traffic at all. Nice facility and kids friendly too. Had a vacation for 5 days and loved every day of it.Own vehicle will enhance the experience as all the major locations are within 4 KMs. Can drive whenever you fele like.

Icing on the cake was the Emerge Spa that rejuvenated us after the drive..Special thanks to Chef Venkatesh, who esp. curated an anniversary cake for us at midnight for us.. and Restaurant manager Mr. Swami for personally ensuring our F&B hospitality is taken care off... All-in-all, a perfect vacation1. Property: 9/10 (Resort living, lush green, water streams, pond with ducks, multiple flora)2. Food: 8/10 (Few more non-veg items for breakfast will make this a property of global standards)3. Lovely resort with excellent food. The premium rooms and suites are fantastic.

Its a beautiful setting. The rooms were really big and all the amenities satisfactory. It included a beautiful view of the pool right in front of the porch/balcony of the room. Enjoyed the stay.The breakfast especially us worth mentioning. It had a wide array of continental and Indian delicacies which we thoroughly enjoyed. We didnt even have lunch that day!

Its a ok kind of place if you wanna get the feel of resort within a city.

The resort is good, clean, staff is helpful and generous.We did not use the Swimming Pool as it was very dirty.Olive garden restaurant is good and the food is tasty.Must try - Chilly Paneer Biryani, Falafel and Pita Bread.Alcohol rates are also fine.Morning breakfast was awesome with live counter.The location of the resort is awesome, its very near to Chamundi Hill, Mysore Zoo and Mysore Palace.

Still one of the best resorts around Chamundi but the maintenance has got down a bit after the lockdown. Maybe due to a few weddings as well.
