Simple and easy process, friendly staff. Best part is you avoid a trip to Bangalore passport office. Infrastructure is poor but at least service is getting done without hassle. Advice - dont visit without appointment. Visit at the time specifically mentioned in the appointment form. Take Xerox of all originals and sign them before visiting to avoid last minute rushing

I had the most traumatic experience with this PSK in my city yesterday. The guy on Counter A who uploads the documents and takes photo is the dumbest guy I have ever seen in my life. He was so impatient and inconsiderate in taking biometrics and photo of a child with special needs and he bluntly denied stating its a waste of time and hassle to other customers waiting out there. Though my appointment was at 10.15am, I was called in at around 11.15am and I had no complaints waiting with my child. He was not sympathetic at all and told to come again. Though I insisted to try just once to take a photo, he bluntly denied it and didnt even listen to the officer who came for help from Counter B. There is no toilet, no changing room or feeding room nor a ramp for people with special needs to get in. I felt it was better to go to Bangalore to have a hassle-free experience than visiting this PSK in my hometown. The Guy in counter A deserves to work in post office doing desk job where there is no need to interact with people.

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE. The staff lack basic professionalism and did not speak cordially with me (the two people who sit in the small A1/A2 counter—think theyre on top of the world.)Please improve.

This is a post office and a passport application center. We can get appointments online for the passport issue and have the passport process easily done. The staff were very friendly. The work usually gets done in 15-30 minutes usually. It comes near Jayadeva hospital. Passport issue will be smoothly done within a month for regular application and even faster for the tatkal applications.

Worst experience.Verifying officer goes for lunch when there are people waiting here without lunch from more than 2 hours.

Good experience. Polite and efficient staff. Photos are taken at the spot, no need to bring photo. Keep old passport 1st and last page xerox if going for renewal (and no change in address or any other details). Whole thing takes 15 mins to get done.

One of the best service POPSK . The staff really so kind of. helping what ever queries we have and if any corrections required they helping a lot and even they suggestion if any discrepancies. Hats up to them.

I had been to the Passport seva kendra, Mysore today i.e., on the 9th March 2021 for change of address.The person who is in the front office is an absolute fit for the job.He was not only kind , courteous and guiding people but also quite quick in his understanding of the issue and knowledgeable too.He has been dealing with people with patience and wisdom.We r quick to write complaints reg and deficiency in services, its equally important to record our appreciation too.The other two people inside too were quite courteous.Thanks staff,ppsk, Mysore.

Passport office coming to Mysore was a welcome move. But no one expected , it would be so small. It is like a clinic space. They are 2 executives who runs the entire office from morning to evening. People will always be jam packed as they dont want to travel to other cities.

Third class staff, no one is there to guide or assist in enquiry.

The service is very fast if you have every documents ready. The persons over there are very polite and helpful. I liked the service very much.

I give 4 stars because the office works not on appointment basis but only on first come, first serve type. Rest is best. If one carries all necessary documents, the staffs take 10 minutes maximum per person. Friendly and obliging staffs.

Plz open schedule date in website/passport seva portal for mysore. I want to reschedule appointment and my fee for 2 passport will expire. Neither mysore nor chamarajanagar is open to reschedule appointment which got delayed for covid.

Place is good. Staff are really friendly. They are very good in English, Kannada and hindhi language. Place is very clean and fresh.

After submitting your application online, you will get an sms giving you a batch number and sequence number, intimating one to reach 15 minutes before the given time. Do not go by this, expecting to be called in on time.After reaching on the date and time given, note down all the details grin the sms on a slip of paper. Place it on the desk of the gentleman to the left as you enter the room marked Only applicants may enter. Your name will be called based on the order of the slips.Expect to spend at least 2 hrs here.

At last.... My documents were verified. People over here were helpful and it took only 1 hour to get my work done as there were very less people that day.

Thanks to Pratap Simha for giving Passport Seva Kendra to Mysore, its very convenient for mysureans or else we have to go to bengaluru to get our job done, the service is good not very much rush there.

Nice place but no proper parking lot here and also it’s quite unorganised as people can just randomly get in to verify their documents without any proper order.Also there isn’t any help desk for queries.Apart from this,I felt that the officers were well behaved and helpful!

Guys you need to take all the required original documents and Xerox of the same , They wont take our live photograp at PSK , we should bring 2 photograph with white background , and 10 finger scanning will be done once all the address are verified

Completely disorganized process. The appointment times are ignored. The person at the reception is arrogant and asked me to send my complaints to the ministry of external affairs, rather than complain to him.

Its very helpful for people in Mysore rather then traveling to Bangalore just to apply the passport and another day for verification of the documents thus it is good plant in mysurand also the staffs here are very good and coordinate with the people having any dought regarding the filling up of forms of passport, it is recognisable from the main road and the parking is also available,

Staff will ask everyone to get another photo from opposite Shilpa studio telling background is not fully white.. Image is big.. Small etc. Better checkout the photo specification fully. Otherwise not much crowd like blore.but lot of complains of delay. Concerned Authorities should be informed. Of the delay. Heard its taking 2 plusmonths for normal processing.
