Few years back i have visited it was very good.. we can visit all 3 floors. with more details historical things.. but when now i have visited very few things are visible and only we are allowed 2 floor of place to visit.. i think it is not work of money.. while exit from place to main gate.. security grad demand extra tea/ coffee (rupees) to come out to main gate from shortcut way.. i think it is not good.. i think visit from outside is more better then go inside.. at night it look so beautiful.. must visit at that time.. IT free no cost to visit during light time..

When I came mysore for the first time I couldnt get to visit because of tight schedule. The same day decided that ll come some day to explore the city. And after that I have not counted how many times Ive been this place. Sometimes with friends and many times with family members. And this was the day visited with friends again. Every time it reminds the rich culture of India. The historic paintings, monuments, Chambers, temple and many more are always amazing. No wonder in future also will plan just a road trip. For everyone great place and should visit once. ✌🏼👍🏼

Stunning lights. One of the most iconic palace to visit in India. Many people visit India to see Taj Mahal and Mysore Palace should be the 2nd reason for all visitors. Gorgeous than other palace in the world and the best among rest in the night time.Lights are lit only on Sundays and other special days, plan your days to visit Mysore on Sunday. Very busy area in the city, lots of visitors, shops, tours, restaurants and hotels around the palace. Have got 4 gates and looks gorgeous on all sides but best is the main entrance. Have to go place with family and kids will enjoy their time. Check out the Covid restrictions before visit.

Located at the heart of Mysore city and well connected with local transport. This palace is a must see for the historical enthusiasts. Youll have to take off your footwear before entering though and its charged ₹2 per pair to keep it in a safe place inside. Entry fee is ₹70 and its all cash payments sadly no UPI or card payments accepted so make sure you carry cash / change. Interiors and halls are well lit and there are guides inside to explain the history behind it. This palace has a spectacular look specially in the evening when lights are on.

Mysore palace is one of the top attractions to visit in Mysore and it is worth all the hype. The grounds are well maintained with several temples all around. Before entering the palace you need to deposit your shoes. The palace had several beautiful areas and paintings and I would recommend a guide to know about the intricacies of the place. Must visit when in Mysore.

I would call it one of the best palaces in India to visit. The entry ticket is 70₹ which is very much affordable and has no extra charges for the camera. The palace is very huge and requires at least one and a half hours to explore it completely. There is no such artwork on a large amount but you can definitely enjoy the royalty of the palace inside. With every passing way, you will get a chance to feel royal, the arrangement of pillars and the painting on walls and ceiling are extraordinary. If you love photography then you will end up getting so many amazing clicks, so overall it is a must village palace if you really love the history and art.

India is a land of grand & royal palaces, but only a few of those palaces occupy the topmost position when it comes to their global popularity, architectural magnificence and historical significance. Mysore Palace is one of the noteworthy palaces in India that ticks all the right boxes, to qualify as one of the worlds grandest, biggest and most conspicuous palaces. This palace is the premier attraction of the Mysore city & people from all across the country and abroad throng in huge numbers to get a glimpse of this magnificent ancient engineering marvel. I visited this palace during the day time, and I had an experience of a lifetime. However, try to view the palace during the evening, because that is the time when the whole palace gets illuminated with bright light and from a distance it looks like a huge sparkling diamond. This is one of my most favourite destinations in India. Highly recommended. 👍🏻

The sprawling city of Mysore is a delight to explore thanks to its eclectic mix of fine old colonial architecture; regal Indian palaces; and lush, well-manicured gardens. While those inclined towards shopping will enjoy spending time in the citys famous silk and sandalwood bazaars, the main attraction is magnificent Mysore Palace.Completely rebuilt in 1897 after a devastating fire, this beautiful three-storied palace features highlights such as its elegant square towers and domes; the many ornate ceilings and pillars in Durbar Hall; and the splendid Marriage Pavilion, with its glazed floor tiles, stunning stained glass, artworks, and displays of jewelry (its also where, on special occasions, the exquisite Golden Throne is exhibited). For a real treat, be sure to catch one of the splendid light displays held each Sunday and during holidays, when the palace is illuminated by more than 90,000 lights. A fun way to explore the palaces massive grounds and gardens is as part of a cycle tour, available free once inside.Address: Sayyaji Rao Road, Mysuru, Karnataka 570001.
