I have heard this story through my friend. Long ago when a Developer was facing many hurdles and difficulties in completing his residential project. He prayed to Shree Swami Samarth and asked for his help. Few months later, the developer completed this residential complex in Andheri Lokhandwala and named the whole area as Samarth Nagar. He also established Swami Samarth Math which is spacious and bright coloured. Women in jeans and tshirt are not allowed inside the Math.

This place is located at Andheri west.Really peaceful place.I stay in andheri east 10 years ago. We visited almost every weekend in this temple. Just for that peacefulness.If you not visited yet I suggest you to go at this place. On weekends there will little bit rush. From Monday to Friday may be not that many rush as compare to weekends.I visited here after the ages & feels like I visited same temple that I visited when my age is like 12 or 13.Just love.♥️🙏

This temple is very good place to read and learn study. We can read all spiritual books here. Temple area is clean. All peoples help to each other.

Its very calm and peaceful place of worship. The rules are stringent for the ladies. Ladies are not allowed to enter if they are wearing knee length or short skirts. So attire should be decent enough for ladies.

Strict rules should be followed here. Dont wear western outfits. Covered clothes to be worn, traditional preffered. Silence is appreciated.

Tranquil place. Very neat & clean. You need to wash your feet before entering the sanctum santorium. Gents & ladies entrance & sitting is different. Dress code is must.

I Love this place a lot.Very peaceful.I feel those who have faith in Swami Samarth should keep visiting this Math at least once a week on Thursday specially.I like the discipline there to be followed by each person of not using cell phones inside Math.

Shree swami samarth temple is a wonderful place to offer prayers to shree swami samarth. It opens at 6am to 12 pm and than 4 pm to 9pm. Akkalkot maharaja blesses all those devotees who come there. No offerings are allowed. Jai shree swami samarth.

I came to this temple from Panvel. It takes 2 hours to travel from panvel to andheri.. Today i was made to go back and so rudely, since i was not in proper atire. I am wearing a jeans and long top, but they call it westernWho decides it? These kind of rules are not followed in Akkalkot as well (which is also my hometown)In response, the girl in security told me that this was a private temple and rules are made by owners?I think they believe they even own Swami samarth maharaj.Maharaj will bless me no matter what from any other temple, but after today never coming back to this temple ever again.Really demeaning experience. Hope the management sees this.

Nice temple but women have to be in India clothes. But what about men. Are jeans trousers Indian ? Why only women. Can the holyness of a temple be decided by a womans dress. Such narrow minded people cause more harm to society than anyone. You can say no minis or micros or hotpants understandable. But no jeans T-shirt is ridiculous. (It covers full body) Saree with open belly or chaniyacholi with open belly is ok. Haha Narrow minded people from narrow minded street.

A great experience for swami samarth followers where you get true spiritual experience and peace. It is big hall so many people can attend. Meditate here. Temple Management keeps this place neat and clean. Separate entrance for Men and women. Please switch off your mobile phones before entering in to the temple. You can freely do outside parikrama. Separate tap water is provided for devotees to wash their feet and hands before entering the temple. Must visit place in Andheri west.
